Welcome to the official new thread for weekly Tempest spotting. The idea of this thread is to post whenever it starts raining in Subeta so it's more common to come across the Tempest random event.

Be sure to join the ping group, Tempest! Ping whenever it starts raining!

It's raining in Subeta, what does this mean? It means that you have an increased chance of finding Tempest while browsing the site. You can find her other days, too, but you have a greater chance of seeing her while it's raining. Again, you can find her anywhere in the site, not just in land maps.

What does the random event do exactly? You'll come across something like this:

It's raining in Shadowglen!!! But is it Tempest rain? Before pinging, be sure to check other Subeta lands to see if it's raining too. It rains in Shadowglen everyday, so it's super easy to get confused. Tempest rain looks like this!

I like your OP! :) I think a ping group would be nice. It think was mentioned on the other board but never changed.

I like the tempest ping group idea because it makes it much clearer.

Done! I want it to be as clear as possible. :) I already pinged the old group today so I'll just ping it again whenever Tempest shows up to let everyone know about the new ping group.

I joined :) I knew the tempest comes on mondays but I never seem to have any luck getting her events.

I just got back into Subeta so I didn't know that was how you get the new tempest items (esp. that potion owo). I'll do my best to help keep a lookout on Mondays! :D

Has anyone seen Tempest rain in the last weeks at all? I'm starting to believe the feature is broken.

Sorry for the ping, but didn't know who else I could ask. Is Tempest rain working? It's been a few weeks without pings, and every Monday I check every hour I'm online but no luck.

Not that I know of. The last time I got a Tempest event was the day I created this thread. And couldn't check for rain on the last few Mondays since I wasn't home and didn't have a computer, but I'm going to assume that nothing happened because nobody posted anything. 😕

I've had a couple of Tempest events in the past week or so, but I have no idea if the rain has been working or not. I do however believe that the tax event has stopped working. There have been no posts about it anywhere since 07/21/15. :c /goes to make a thread about it

It's raining! Sorry to those who got double pinged, but a lot of people didn't join the new ping group yet, so make sure you do! From now on, the old group won't be pinged anymore to avoid further confusion.

Yes, for the three hours while it rains you're more likely to get the Tempest event while browsing subeta.
