I know I'm not the only person playing this game, but I'm surprised there isn't a thread here already. Unless no one cares for it on this site? I don't know.
So.... is anyone out there? I'd like to discuss theories and ideas and talk about the different choices we've made.

just finished episode 4, all i can say is WOW.

So, do you have any theories about episode 5 or the game in general? I have some, or rather more questions...

Who is Harry Aaron Prescott? He is presumably deceased, but why is the barn still in his name? I have some knowledge, having had a recently deceased grandfather and my father inheriting the house. It should have been transferred over to Nathan's dad, if Sean Prescott is indeed Nathan's father.
It could be a little detail or easily explained away, but I just thought it was interesting to note.
Also interesting: Sean Prescott signed the contract to have that stormbreaker bunker built.
I don't put much stock into the theory of Jefferson being Nathan's father (although he could perhaps be an uncle, an illegitimate son). In the game someone said they met his father, and if so, it definitely isn't Mr. Jefferson then, unless it's a stand-in, because a message on the phone said not to shout out his name in public. The warning to not shout out his name, if it is Mr. Jefferson, could just be because Nathan was on drugs and/or talking about things they needed hidden. But Nathan's father can also say the same because he didn't want to be associated with his son's drug habits.
So is Jefferson that the Vortex Club's advisor or something?
What do they mean by destiny? Why is it coming sooner? Do the Prescotts have some sort of power and/or knowledge of/about the storm or the events leading up to it?
I also wonder why no one noticed the ground where Rachel Amber was buried had been disturbed, especially because Chloe goes to the junk yard often.
The possible drug used to abduct the victims quietly is Gamma-Hydroxybtyrate (GHB). It can cause slower breathing, loss of consciousness, depression, nausea, vomiting, delusions, vertigo, hallucinations, seizures, respiratory distress, slowed heart rate, lowered blood pressure, amnesia, and coma. Given that it is injected directly into the neck (assuming a blood stream and not muscle) it is the second fastest way to absorb and be affected by something. These symptoms also sound similar to Kate's memory of that night.
Why kill Chloe and not Max, or kill them both, or abduct them both?
David knows SOMETHING, but it seems like he doesn't quite know what, or can't piece them all together.

Im hoping that Max will be able to rewind back to the vortex club party (when her and Warren took a picture together, maybe it has some meaning?) BECAUSE IF NOT OH GOD CHLOE IS ACTUALLY DEAD and everything is messed up!! D:
Did NOT see it coming with Jefferson! He's taking advantage of Nathan's sickness definitely.
As for the Prescott's, thats some shady shit. I think they somehow are involved with everything thats going on, and maybe worse since they refuse to help Nathan's doctor in aiding him with his mental health.

But how would she get the photo? Didn't Warren take it? I don't know if she can save Chloe, but I hope so, though I wonder how she will get out of Jefferson's clutches.
...what if Nathan can choose to help you, if you didn't 'snitch' on him and if he's still alive?
What if they didn't mean to kill Rachel Amber (I have absolutely no evidence to back this up because they don't go into detail about the body). What if she had a reaction to the drug they used? I know this isn't very likely but if they took her and drugged her, maybe the interaction of the drugs didn't work and that's why she was awake and 'furious' in that one photo? Then they used more GHB to make her body compliant and it killed her.
But why Rachel Amber in the first place? She didn't seem all that 'innocent', if we're going with the assumption that Jefferson, etc. prefer those types of people. Or Nathan did that one on his own, and chose her, and that's also why he chose Chloe....
My friend and I have a bet on when Episode 5 will come out; she says Christmas, I say mid-to-late October. Obviously I'm hoping I'll win ;)

episode 4
Ok so on the steam site when you go to play the game, you know how they show screenshots of the game right? I saw one where it was Max and nathan walking together. He was leading while she was looking off to the side. I'm not sure if this indicates something or not. Also did you let Warren beat up Nathan? I didn't because I thought it'd come back to bite me. Also frank is alive in my playthrough. As for Jefferson, I was suspicious of him, but not for the reasons that were displayed at the end. I thought he was just sleeping consensually with Victoria or committing fraud haha.
I'm going to play through it again because my save file didn't work for some reason, so the choices I made didn't play out. I'm going to play through all the episodes again anyway, and I was thinking of doing character analyses on Jefferson and Nathan, what with my psychology degree and something, since I don't have a goddamn job yet...

I wonder if they will make a sequel series to Life is Strange. I'm also hoping that we get to figure out where max's powers came from too...
i would LOVE a season two, although i read somewhere that if they did one it would be with different characters D: i'm so attached to all of the current characters though! i'm really hoping episode 5 is SUPER LONG because i never want it to end ;-;

It was only $20 though which is AMAZING!
it WAS a really good price! it reminds me of the nancy drew games which are also about $20 but the whole time i kept telling my husband "omg this is like nancy drew BUT SO MUCH BETTER" haha.
my theory is that episode 5 will come out on october 11th! since that's the day in-game that the whole series has been leading up to. :D
Mmm... I'm not a huge fan of the game tbh, I sorta regret buying it.I haven't played it in ages and it just kinda sits there.. The story concept is interesting, I like the whole time travel/rewind kinda thing but the characters just miss...Something. The one who does Max sounds like she's not interested at all lol. Sadly I'm one of those people who HAVE to finish something when they start it.. [I once continued through series of books that I HATED because I had to finish it since I started it] And honestly if you didn't see THAT coming [hopefully people who have seen it know what i mean, i have no idea how to put things under spoilers] anyway, it was pretty obvious from the beginning
Agreed that this is a fantastic game! This is one of those games that can actually play with my emotions. Especially in episode 4 oh my gosh D: Not to mention, I truly don't see certain outcomes coming.

First off, that barn scene was absolutely eerie. I was like, "I do not want to go in there." The whole time I was in there, I was expecting someone to come up on us ughhh.
I also don't know what to think about Chloe. Like, she can't actually be dead, right? Surely we're going to have some way to bring her back to life. But in this game, so many things happen that I don't expect and I'm conflicted of what to think D:
As for Jefferson...wow. Something seemed a little off when he finally made an appearance at the end of the episode with the Vortex Club, but I was not expecting that to happen in the slightest. Especially considering the end of episode 2 when you frame either Nathan, David (that's Chloe's step-dad's name, right?) and Jefferson and I was like, "Why would I frame Jefferson that doesn't make any sense." Oh my gosh just. What. WHAT.
To be honest, I hope Kate and David are totally B.A. in the 5th episode. I want them to do something that I don't expect. I dunno, Kate have this sudden confident boost and David be this huge good guy or something?? I dunno?? I just have high hopes that they'll have some sort of big role.
Caved in and bought it yesterday. It's too bad I take forever to explore/look at things and even decide on choices, so I'm still on Episode 1... regardless, LiS has been enjoyable so far.
There must be a tiny bit of comedy to the game despite how dark it might be :c I freaked out/was confused when "This action will have consequences..." appeared right after watering the plant in Max's room. Really...
I'm hoping so, too, but not everyone made the same choices. I wonder if the ending is vastly different or just minor changes. I do hope they talk about how Max got her powers but it might just be unexplainable or something.
I can't wait til it comes out, I'm soooo excited! I can't wait to play it and watch other people play it, too. ^_^ So many choices!

Oh that's a good point. I've got no idea what to expect at this point. Pretty much any theory I come up with gets blown away by something absolutely crazy that happens in the game. Oh gosh. I'm just so excited for episode 5. It seems like they've been released every 2-3 months so I'd imagine the next episode will be out in October? I hope so.
I'd love to know how Max got her powers too. Currently it's just one of those unexplained things that simply happen and you just gotta accept it xD I'd love to hear more backstory on it. Perhaps she'll find out how in the last episode.
That's also the problem. Episode 5 is the last episode and that really bums me out!! I imagine it's going to be long like episode 4 was...if not longer. I hope so anyway.
