You can now more easily ping users who have special characters in their usernames on the forums or in news comments!

Just put brackets ( [ and ] ) around a normal ping, no underscores required. Underscore wildcard pings will continue to work as they have in the past, but keep in mind they may not always be reliable.

For example, if my username were g-r-e-l-c-a, you could type [-r-e-l-c-a] in your post to ping me. :)

[-Guru] yep that first one that didn't get bolded in the post was from the ping button. Neither one looks like a useable ping in Preview, they both look unbolded like they wouldn't work.
