[-Guru] the first one is also not broken, because they didn't use brackets. the second one is because there's a limit of 10 pings in a post and bracket pings get processed after regular @ pings, which made the ping to you , not , so it did not go through.

[-Guru] yes, the ping button is working. you don't have to use the ping button, though, because manually typing the brackets also works.

but yeah people who aren't using the brackets are likely just typing in the ping and don't know to use brackets to make it work.
