I've been biting people on the forums for over an hour now, and was looking for a new victim volunteer. When I found one, I got the "Your bites won't infect anyone!" message.

Why am I not able to bite anyone anymore? I got the alert I was done progressing and have bitten 50+ people. I even switched to human skin and then back - didn't work. Then switched to my butterfly bruise skin and tried - still not able to bite.

What happened?

Same thing happened to me -- my bites stopped infecting people even though they were working a few minutes earlier. I haven't done anything in the wardrobe and my avatar still looks the same.

I am having the same problem with my Eyesore virus. Had finally been working on the achievement and biting suddenly stopped working for me. I also went to the wardrobe and changed skins off then back without result. And I also visited the VIP program which acted as though I was newly infected. So I took off my Eyesore Skin and asked not to be infected anymore. That worked. Then went back to the wardrobe and put the Eyesore Skin back on, but still can't bite. Not at all sure what my status is - not infected, partly infected, or ready to bite. I'd like to still be fully infected if possible. Thank you.

I'm just assuming staff was tinkering with something and accidentally broke biting, lol. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

Staff, tried to edit the above post, but keep getting errors. Thought you might need to know that when I first visited the VIP program it acted as though I had started some new infection. So I took off my Eyesore skin in the wardrobe, then went back and asked to not be infected anymore. That worked. Then I went back to the wardrobe and put the Eyesore skin back on again, but still couldn't bite. So I'm not sure what my status is - uninfected, ready to bite or somewhere in between. If possible, I'd like to go back to being Eyesore ready to bite. Thank you.

I just got the "you've been matched with an Infection Specialist!" message. I just got to the last stage of my virus today, and haven't taken it off or tried signing up for another...

All of us who are full-on zombies have been re-infected I think....

Weird, especially since I still have my skeleton skin on. Am I going to have that peel off to reveal a second skeleton? :P

I don't know but I want this fixed. got re-infected with Blistered Hearts themselves and could cure. I think if we cure, we can keep our zombie skin.

Eh, I'm willing to wait a few more hours to see if staff fixes it -- I don't want to risk losing my skeleskin or spend that many hearts /:

Maybe it'll be fixed by tomorrow....I can hope. What's even more horrifying is that none of the Subeta staff have said or reported anything on this issue. I'm suspicious.

Not really sure how it would be, but I guess you never know. It's probably just a bug, though it would be nice if staff gave us a heads-up about what's going on if that's the case.

I'm suspicious of the staff. I'd like to try and file a ticket but this is happening to everyone who is completely zombified.

So long as you have claimed the skin, you get to keep it I believe (I know I have all of my skins, but I also cured with them off). But yeah, it seems like people were reinfected if you haven't claimed your skin ? I think once you claim it, it nullifies it and you have to be re-infected ? I might be wrong there !

How does one claim a skin? I clicked that link in the beta wardrobe, but it said that I processed zero skins, but it also has Blistered Hearts as a selectable skin below that, so have I "claimed" it? I didn't do anything before clicking the link and getting the "zero" result s:

idk I'm just afraid if I cure or take it off it will say I didn't have it claimed, but I can't seem to actively claim it, either...
