This is happening to me too 😕 I've only had this strain since the start of the event & I haven't claimed my skin yet in the beta wardrobe because I thought it might interfere with biting, lol. Biting worked just fine the other days ;w;

Right now the VIP program is telling me to bite, but I still can't. Yesterday, it didn't think I was infected, so I'm still very confused as to what state I'm in. That said, we know that Keith is aware of this problem and staff is working on it. Hopefully, they will be able to fix it soon. Meanwhile, I really appreciate their quick response and am off to do Shinwa and weekend questing.

No that's not what I was referring to.. I mentioned in my first post on here that I needed to GET bitten to see if the new strain I picked this morning is different than the one I was automatically signed up for (another bug), but I couldn't get bitten by anyone to test it b/c there's this bug. Now the "bite" option on my avatar has gone away and it now says I'm infected, but I just picked up the strain 3 or more hours ago and no one's been able to bite so I shouldn't be showing as infected.

Yesterday it seemed to be like "some" people were able to bite but now it doesn't seem like anyone's biting ;__;

I was hoping to bite my last people so I could get a new infection but I don't see that happening this morning .___.

Finally hit the last stage of the virus, was going in to claim the skin, annnnnd... It's not showing as a choose-able skin. The no-biting issue is bad enough, but I want my skin dangit!

Can't bite at all even though I'm a full zombie and never changed skins. This is super weird Subeta. :<

Agreed, . Or -- maybe the site status.subeta.net could actually say something more concrete than that the MongoDB servers are experiencing performance issues. It's been well over 12 hours now...

It's getting really frustrated. This has been almost an entire day for me now, an entire day lost. As if the biting achievement wasn't poorly thought out already, this makes it worse. I need to wait for my achievement to be done before i can get a second infection, and I was hoping I could even try for a third infection before the end of the event but that won't be possible if I lose an entire day of progress. [edit] i'm going to bed in half an hour, then I officially missed an entire day.

You'd think after "looking into it" over 12 hours, there would be some sort of improvement.

Nooooo This makes me rather sad Like loads of other users, I wanted to get in a day of biting before claiming the skin so I could re-infect.... Now I must choose between getting as many skins as possible, and the achievement :(

I need to get rid of the second round of the same infection. I would really like to get another one.

The glitch only seems to affect those who have reached the final stage...

I'm hoping Survival will be extended to compensate for the lost time in this bite problem.

I'm aware of that, since I didn't have any problems until I reached the final stage.

Meanwhile I was wondering how some people could still bite - it was pretty obvious that only those who weren't on the final stage still could. I saw when one biter suddenly couldn't bite anymore upon reaching the final stage.

I hope so too, I want to change strains but I want to be able to get some more bites in first.

I was one of the first infected with Deathworm and unlocked the skin in my Wardrobe as soon as it was possible. I chose NOT to choose a new virus strain yet due to hearing about the biting bugging out. Today, I'm showing up as stage one Lovebug. The Voluntary Infection Program is telling me I haven't progressed enough so... now I am somehow infected with a virus I did not choose.

Hopefully this helps find the issue, and is okay going here rather than a new thread?

Same. I'm leaving for a conference on Sunday and wanted to finish my biting achievement before reinfecting. That way even though I probably won't be online much, I'll still get an infection I want. Now, if this isn't fixed, I'll have to forgo the achievement if I want to let a second strain progress while I'm away.

I am also firmly stuck in the Your Bites Won't Infect anyone club.

I accidentally selected a new virsus and was stuck with that till the final stage. When I claimed it in the wardrobe, I switched to my old Brain Rot and was able to successfully bite several people.

Now I am getting the same error as most on this board. Edit: forum point woo
