You mean I can go back to biting again? But the VIP says I'm still on the first stages, I have Blistered Hearts a second time.

I think this is one of the issues with claiming a skin, right after you can be bitten again (which then nullifies your infection, the site no longer registers you as a zombie). And since it doesn't default back to you being able to pick a strain, people with the strain you've just completed bite you. It's a circle.

Ahaha, yes ! Which is why I took the skin off, cured, and in the next tab clicked "I don't want to be a zombie anymore" and went through the picking/getting bitten stage again, with another strain.

I don't care, this isn't fair, and I want to bite people again. I was halfway there to the achievement and everything has been taken away from me. Had I known this would have happened, I would have started biting people yesterday or even the day before.

Guess I'll go try for another zombie skin, or my other virus strain and see what happens.

Yeah, I'm about halfway as well, not to mention that that's 200 hearts down the drain for something I didn't actually do...

So I'm still hoping for a fix so I can get back to biting people.

If this was being fixed, the site would be down by now. I am getting more and more upset by the minute. I suppose I could try for another strain in the meantime but when Subeta is acting like this right now it may not be a good idea. All the while, though, I am very upset. And I know this has affected everyone who was on the final stage of zombification or most, so I'm not the only victim. However, I don't know if the others are still not being recognized as zombies or not.

Starting to go through the entire process of rezombification...for the skin I'm wearing -_-

I haven't claimed the skin yet, and am having the same issue. hope it's fixed by the time I wake up tomorrow. :'(

Why didn't I do that? Or at the very least, clicked the "I don't want to be infected anymore" button before I got infected a second time. I filed a ticket, so hopefully I can get this fixed. I am having the same problem with my Lobster Face skin. (held onto that baby since 2012, glad I did!)

I just thought that a problem this big would involve taking down the site to fix it. O_o

What I've found interesting about this is that it's happening at different times to different people. I noticed someone like 3 hours ago who hit the issue and as soon as I bit them, they were back to normal. But now I am suffering from the thing and I am so close to the achievement, I wonder if a bite from someone with my virus would help!

[edit] Now it says infected again! (Instead of Bite!) but my bites still won't affect anyone.

I know I have't been the only one with this problem, even if I have been acting like it. Sorry. I know I've been the most vocal tonight, but that's what happens when something goes wrong. I get EXTREMELY upset, and I start to panic and, well, raise the dead...cough cough I have severe anxiety, nothing I can control unfortunately. My brain shuts down completely and I become a monster. Like a werewolf, I can't think, I just act, and it's ugly. But it looks like the problem is getting fixed....perhaps leaving the site for the night would have been better, so I could come back to everything working properly. I am relieved the zombies are showing up as infected again, even if we still can;t bite yet. Progress is being made.

I just woke up and according to the event in my sidebar it was 3 hours ago that i was signed up for the vip program again: only i was asleep at that time.

i hope it's quickly fixed because i need to bite about 10 more people and i wanted to get re-infected today with a second strain.

Yeah, that's what's happening to me now too, "infected" and unable to bite. Strange glitch is strange. I'm honestly afraid to touch anything at this point.

I still need to bite 75 people to get mine so this has been a huge hit on my progress (I have been working at it all day just to get those 25!), especially since tons of people have posted asking for bites from my virus. I hope we get compensated in some way for the lost time considering it takes so long to get this achievement for people who are new to the strains and had to wait for full infections (honestly I'm just afraid people wanting to get bit will die down after a little and I'll end up falling short on the achievement even though I am trying my best to get it). I'm glad it is getting looked into, but this lost time might be quite an impact toward getting that achievement when it was already difficult to find people to bite since they get snatched up so fast. Certainly not trying to complain, either, as I am always impressed with how fast things get fixed on this site and how many new things we get, just voicing a bit of concern ^^

Yesterday I was able to bit but since I reached its final stage I can't. I really wanted to work on my achievement today and help people out who want the Deathslug as well. I don't want to change my skin until I got the biting achievement so I hope this will get solved fast.
