Does my pet, Asian Chaos stand a chance against any of the Very Hard opponents? I've tried FeliBot, Recycle Beast, and Slavam, but to no avail. :( Any weapons I should swap out? My pet is getting close to tier 7, so if there are any T7 weapons I should be keeping an eye on, that'd be great!
Here are my main weapons: Scroll:
[edit] Also, what mods should I add to my weapons? I was thinking of adding to my Malevolent Grenade but was wondering if there were any better options? Thanks :)
[edit] Mods, if this should be moved to Set Advice, sorry in advance! >.<
best mods to do are natural armor tear crystals and parched baguette crystals. Combine your ice wand with a reborn wand of doom to make a reborn ice wand of doom. It has 10% heal and a chance to freeze.
Thanks for the tip! :) and yea, I'm looking to make the Reborn Icewand of Doom but I'm trying to see if the Reborn Wand of Doom will restock in the MC again anytime soon...I don't feel like paying 18mil >.<
did you look here : http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/814371 , also thanks for the candy :3
Overall, you have a great set going for ya! But there is room for improvement. I'd suggest getting the Reborn wand, and make a . The 10% heal beats the 40hp heal any day.
You need to get ahold of a couple of Cobalt Eternal scrolls to aid in blocking. They're OPB, but still useful. Fatal fire is also going to be helpful, despite also being a OPB.
Alchemy Points: 8 Defense: 15 or 75 or 75 Physical, 15 or 75 or 75 or 75 Fire, 15 or 75 or 75 Dark, 15 or 75 or 75 or 75 Ice, 15 or 75 or 75 or 75 Earth Other: Sold in the Millionaire Center, OPB.
Alchemy Points: 10 Attack: 13 Fire, 11 Light (24 icons) Defense: 75 Fire, 75 Dark Other: Loot from defeating Cursed Effigy the Tormented 5x (Extremely Hard Opponent), OPB.
If you ever get a chance to, you should also make a Sancturia Exodin scroll. Atm it's ridiculously overpriced, because the ingredients are retired and supply is low. We're hoping the BAs will help change this soon, cause the Sanct blocks Light and Water whereas the Cobalt blocks Dark and Ice. Both retain the same elements otherwise, but you can see why both are cherished. xD
is something I wish I had back when El was t6, cause it does have a good range of elements it blocks:
Mod Slots: 2 Defense: 6 or 30 Physical, 6 or 30 Fire, 6 or 30 Dark, 6 or 30 Earth, 6 or 30 Wind, 30 Magma Other: Boosts defense 25 points, has a low chance of not blocking anything
Buy it off the shop search now, use it and when you defeat Meatslab's 1st form x5, you can sell the spare Breastplate you'll get from his 5th loot drop.
Retire your GK Freezer, and consider picking up a Deluxe Death Shard. I'd recommend retiring the Subetaball and get either Soma Tablets or Truth Serum for a stealer.
For T7, Pirate Cutlass blocks 60 water, which can be useful til your pet reaches higher tiers. You could probably skate by w/o one though, as I did. Off the top of my head, you won't have to worry about opponents dealing out lots of water icons, 'cept maybe Fishbreath. But you can easily block him with scrolls, and if you can get into chain-freezes, you'll be okay.
Blocking dark is gonna be a constant pain, however, and the Ultra Star Rod hasn't been in the crystal shop in forever. T7 is easily one of the worst tiers for weapon options because there's a serious lack in good blocking weapons. So scrolls are gonna be your best hope in terms of blocking dark, and just in general, til you hit higher tiers.
Other recommendations: I'm personally fond of the Frost Thorn and Fruit Bone Dagger. Former has a chance to freeze, latter has a chance to steal.
Forj Tempered Shield is nice, it naturally has parched blessing built into it, blocks nicely, despite being a semi-breakable.
Forj Tempered Machete is a scaling weapon I love, and it can be useful for quite some time. Like the shield, it has parched and singed both naturally integrated, but the machete doesn't ever break. ;D
But if you mod your weapons out with a lot of parched tear/baguette crystals, you'll be fine from being frozen a lot. You won't have to worry about weapons being stolen from ya til you can beat Hustler.

Haha, yea I already checked out that thread. :) But there were so many options I couldn't decide which was best >.<
HOLLYYYYYYYYY...this is a lot of information. I actually don't battle /too/ often...so this info is gonna take some time for me to comprehend. But thank you for your advice :)
The Millionaire Center rotates it stock out depending upon the season. The Reborn Wand of Doom stocks in the summer, so it will not be available until June 21st. Here is a list of the Millionaire Center items: url=http://subeta.net/forums.php/gotopost/56383445[/url]
Ahh, I didn't know this! Thanks for linking me to the thread! :D
[edit] WAIT, SO DOES THIS MEAN MY PET STANDS A CHANCE AGAINST THE VERY HARD OPPONENTS???
I have a spreadsheet where I keep track of wins for each of my battle pets... Next to the name of each challenger I've got the approximate tier at which the pet should be able to beat each opponent... In the Very Hard group I've got Felibot at T6, Hustler at T7, Jacques at T6, Recycle Beast at T7, Slavam at T7, and Wyrmgear at T7. (These are the permanent non-Cash Shop challengers. If you have any of the Cash Shop challengers, just list them and I'll let you know what I have on my spreadsheet when I get a chance.)
That doesn't mean you'll be able to get 10 wins or even 5 wins, but you should be able to beat them at least 1 time with the right weapons and/or strategy. (Please note that some of the T7s might take more training after the pet hits the T7 mark as they might be high-end or mid-range T7 opponents... I don't have that information in my spreadsheet.)
Ahh, making a spreadsheet -- GENIUS I guess I'll just train my pet some more before I try battling again. Thanks for this information! ^^
You're welcome! Yeah, I tend to go overboard, it's in my nature. xD Usually the best way to estimate if your pet can handle at least one win against a challenger is through BQs. If you can beat Felibot in BQs, you should be able to get 1-2 wins against her outside BQs.

omg I basically never do battle quests >.< but yea, my pet can't beat Felibot in BQ...guess this means I need to train my pet more. Thank you again! :D
Still do as many BQs daily as you can. Cause then you can spend EXP to boost your pet's stats.
A new battle guide is in the works, and should be released relatively soon, but in the meantime, be sure to check out the intro guide I have listed in my forum signature. It'll help you out. ^^

In addition to 's guides, has an off-site battle blog which has suggestions on how to beat specific opponents. His January 6th update was for Felibot, oddly enough. -tries to look into the shadows to see if he lurking there- LOL
If you are interested, it is here: url=http://ultimatefriend352.tumblr.com/[/url] I don't know if his guides will actually help. There is a lot of information in each and while I can follow what he's talking about, I can see how they might be confusing for a "new" battler.
Your pet should be able to beat Felibot at this point, with the right strategy. My strategy is usually to over-train before taking on an opponent, but it's good to learn how to interpret the guides for situations where over-training isn't an option... Like during site events. XD
Experimenting is a great way to learn. BQs are great for that but if you don't mind the losses showing on the statistics page you could just try your hand in the regular BC.
Thanks for linking me to his blog! It is a little bit confusing, but I think I'll try experimenting it for a bit, and if not, then I'll just over-train like you 😜
I will admit Felibot wasn't one of my better written guides (I may need to reorganize it once I have time), although my other tier 6-7/very hard challenger guides are as follows:
Jacques Slavam Recycle Beast Hustler Wyrmgear Resting Meatslab Odontos Uilliff
