Edit: Alerts are now not showing up at all. Alerts showing up again, but still only appearing on page load.

Original: For the last few days I've had problems with alerts not showing up as normal. I don't get the bubble, or the red icon on my browser tabs.

I am getting alerts. They're just not showing up unless I refresh or go to a different page.

Latest version of Firefox on Windows 7. I've already tried clearing browser history, including cookies and cache. Nothing is being blocked by NoScript. I've done everything I can think to try on my end, and it's making no difference.

e: seems like individual forum pings are working fine for me, but training center alerts are total duds.

Yeah these haven't been working for me for several days now. Very frustrating.

Had one alert for Random come through as normal earlier today, but since then all my alerts have only shown up on page loads. I mainly get alerts for Random and Training Center, and they're both having this problem.

The only other alerts I've had since this started are for stickers. One of those came up without a page refresh.

Is anyone else getting an alert for a thread they are subscribed to but when I click on alert it says I'm not a member of the thread and I am. It won't let me go to unsubscribe. Should I file a ticket?

still not getting training alerts until a new page load. this is making it very hard to train pets.

I'm not having any of the exact issues mentioned above, however, this morning I woke up to no alert for my regular games: Random, Ice Fields, and Crypts.

I had the same problem with alerts this morning. Normally I would have alerts for Random and Training Center when I first come online, but today I had neither. And I DEFINITELY set them.

I've been getting alerts for the rest of the day, but they're still only coming on page loads. :/

Again no Traing Center alert, the other did come in this time, though.

been over a week since i first posted on this thread and i'm still getting no favicon notification/alert update on training center alerts. alerts still only show on subsequent page load. it's getting kind of discouraging that this has gone on for so long without any kind of acknowledgement from staff.

I am with for the training alert. Still haven't got any in a while now.

From what Keith said, I don't think it has been fixed. It's being looked into and will hopefully be fixed soon. At the moment I'm still having issues with it too.

i coudn't tell from the wording if 1. a fix was pushed but was ineffective, or 2. a fix was planned but for whatever reason wasn't pushed in the frame of "today." the phrasing seemed a bit ambiguous to me, but i was erring on the side of case 1. this is just a particular bug i definitely don't want shelved under the assumption that it's "fixed" :(

This is still happening to me. I have to refresh to see new events when they should be coming automatically.

Alerts are hit and miss for me, have been for a few days. I am either not getting them for things like training and games (random, crypts, ice fields) or if I try to delete them, they don't delete, just reload the page with a # at the end of the url, making it difficult to do anything.

I'm not sure if this is related to this, but I'm having a problem with alerts. Mine will now show without refreshing the page, but will autodelete if I do refresh. It's kind of annoying because sometimes I'll refresh before seeing what the event is and so will have no idea what I missed.

Also have the issue with not getting some events, like crypt when I know I set them
