Same as Kisrah. Sometimes I get the alert, but most times I have to refresh.

I'm no longer getting notified of my forum pings. I stopped getting notified of forum group pings since summer of last year, at least, maybe even earlier. I no longer get notified of CW pings, either for as long as I can remember. The individual forum pings (when one user pings me) only notifies me half the time, even less than that. I have to refresh the page to be sure someone replied to me. That has happened more recently, around January.

A few months ago Keith said this should be resolved, but it's definitely still a problem for several alerts.

I'm getting alerts coming through for the things where they actually set (I get the bubble, but usually have to refresh/switch tabs if I don't catch the link from the bubble)

But I'm not able to set alerts for most games. Decanter of Indestructability and Subeta Tiles are the main ones I've been trying to set and neither has given me an alert.

Okay, things are getting worse.

I use Smart events, but the sidebar is showing me the Dashboard most of the time, even though I have events. I have to go to the Event tab myself, or it takes several page loads for it to switch.

On top of that, although I have an alert for an event it's taking ages for the event to properly show. I get an alert, but then it's not in the Event tab. OR it will show me an OLD event.

And as if that isn't bad enough, it's also taking ages for alerts to clear properly. Which gets pretty damn annoying during an event where there a lot of alerts are going around. Especially when it's not clear if the dance request I'm seeing is an old one I've already accepted, or a new one I still need to respond to.

It's showing (2) but I have to refresh 10 time to see the event itself.

Bringing this back up because it is STILL a problem and it's been a while since we've had any staff updates.

Some of the problems I mentioned earlier have since resolved themselves (probably caused by site load during the last event?), but alerts are still failing to show without a page refresh most of the time.

my forum alerts don't take me to the post that make me get them it takes me to the first place on the page i posted i do believe.

I'm only getting training alerts half the time. I am SURE I'm clicking "Add an Alert," since lately I've been having to double-check that I did, and it's still not showing up.

I'm not getting training alerts at all, and forum alerts are not appearing as a red mark/popping up - only see them when I go to a new page.

Since the last staff post was in December: - Hi, is this being looked into again :)? I've been having issues with forum pings for a couple of months now, things went wonky again after the last fix sadly :c

This is getting a lot worse now. For awhile I just had to refresh the page for the actual events to show in my dash, but now I have to open a new tab, hard refresh, open another new tab, and refresh again. And sometimes repeat the process. I get the numbers popping up in the events tab, but I can't see alerts themselves. So I get pings and I have no idea what they're for, for a couple of minutes. This is frustrating for time sensitive things especially, but everything overall.

I don't have that problem if I've been offsite for awhile, when I come on to 30 events or whatever, they're all visible when I click on the events tab. The issue only seems to occur right when an event pops up. And it's for everything from game alerts, training events, forum pings, trade alerts, etc.

Is anyone still having problems with this?

It seems to have improved A LOT recently, but I still get the odd alert not showing up without refreshing.

yeah i am still getting the odd balls as well that do not show up. for the most part i am thinking it is fixed for me though.

For me, it seems mostly fixed. However, now and then I do have to refresh repeatedly to get an alert to show up (and delete repeatedly to make it go away!).
