Shop Purchase alerts are back, the rest not.

i'm still having the original problem with training alerts, still only appearing on page load, still not altering favicon

I am having this problem... I can't tell if i been sticked or not not getting alerts. When somone sticked me didn't get a event at all. When i did a trade with someone i couldn't even search their username afterwards someone else had to search for me.

Some items just mysteriously appeared in my inventory and I seriously doubt they're from a RE. I'm afraid I missed the event saying someone gave them to me and now I can't thank the person :(

Never mind, in my case I think it was the prizes for the Luminaire Ornament achievement. False alarm! ;)

i used to get automatic alerts for forum pings, but now they're having the same issue that i was having with training alerts. ie, the problem both persists and is getting worse.

Yeah I'm still getting this too, which basically means I come online and go "oh nothing happening, k I guess I'm not going on subeta right now"

is this being looked into whatsoever, or should i just start getting used to no automatic alerts anymore? i've been having this problem for coming up on a month now, and the lack of staff response since the "no alerts whatsoever" bug has been very discouraging.

Automatic alerts are really useful. I always have a tab with Subeta open. It lets me keep up with certain features, even if I'm not actively playing. And it's REALLY handy to have that little red icon show up on the tab if anyone messages me. So yeah. Kinda inconvenient that it's not working right. D:

My only issue so far seems to be not getting alerted to pings. Comments and others seem fine at the moment.

Same problem as others, only get alerts upon reload.

I'm still having a lot of issues with notifications as well..

Some don't show up, some are hit or miss whether or not they appear.

The red X to close each alert are all stacked on top of each other, so the only way I can clear alerts is from the bottom up. This is a HUGE pain because there are some alerts I don't want to clear right away so I end up with a bunch of alerts I can't clear until I'm ready to clear the bottom one. The other option I have is to clear all the notifications in a group.. such as Forum Pings and Group Pings.

still happening, by the way. surprisingly enough, ignoring the problem does not seem to be fixing it.

Yeah, I can understand that fixing the alerts is not high priority, but a few weeks ago Keith was hopeful about getting it fixed quickly. It's still a problem and we haven't heard much since.

If it's turning out more difficult to resolve than first anticipated, just please let us know. Any update is better than nothing.

i wanted to bring this back to the first page because i'm still very much having this problem. if this is in fact being worked on, some communication would be appreciated

I thought the alerts were made to only appear after reloading a page to make the entire website faster? At least I remember something about big forum group pings being delayed like that.

I haven't heard anything about that. It makes sense for forum group pings though. That can be a lot of pings to send out at once.

If the same thing applies to alerts for games and other features, I'd like to see some confirmation from staff.

for me, the big issue is typically with games (random alerts) and training alerts especially, so i'm leaning toward bug on this one. oddly enough, i get forum pings more often than not automatically (not including group pings, i haven't gotten TS restock pings automatically since the forum group revamp so i think that one's intentional)

Just got an alert for Random that actually came up while I was in a different tab.

Problem fixed, or just a one-off?

still a problem. is this being worked on at all? can someone on staff please acknowledge that you're at least aware of this?

I'm getting them sporadically, but most of the time they're still not coming automatically.
