There's loads of separate pokemon threads but they all seem to be about a specific thing, trading pokemon, friend code stuff, pokedexes, favourite pokemon, about trading cards even...

So what about just a general pokemon chat? I didn't see one. All games, all pokemon, TV show, anything you want to talk about. From pokemon red/blue on the gameboy, to XY on on the 3ds. Old burger king toys anyone? Got some VHS tapes of the old movies. Plushies? Favourite game? Strategies? Teams? Favourite character on the show? Anyone? Favourite season? Anyone remember the pokerap? Any and everything. I just put this thread in Games and MMOs because I think pokemon started as a game, but if it didn't it could be moved I suppose.

I mainly want to talk about the old games :P I still have the older games which I play on occasion despite having mostly finished. I just like to walk around and listen to the old music and junk. My favourite game was pokemon Emerald. I have Ruby which is the same generation but the ruby's internal battery ran dry so that sucks. I'm surprised my Emerald hasn't done that and I will be super sad when that happens. My other favourite was leaf green, mostly because of the team I had. And my first game was blue. I still get multiple copies of them because I don't like making new saves over my old ones and getting rid of the memories.

My favourite season of the show was probably 4th. Simply for the opening theme, it would get me so pumped (I was like 10 when it was on)

Any nostalgic stories? Any stories about current events in your pokemon life? I'm still meandering along in X, I take really long to play the games, I've just now gotten to the victory road. Uh yeah I'm pretty psyched about the new revamp (the proper word escapes me) for ruby/sapphire game. It's called ORAS I believe.

I just got my ORAS demo code! SO excited. I had played through my X version, and bought Y and am now playing through to tide me over until ORAS comes out. :)

Unfortunately it's too late, if you live in the US. :( They've already distributed the codes. I'm not sure about other countries though. But you had to have a Pokemon Trainer Club account and opt to receive the promo emails, and that's how they sent the code out. You could try asking around the internet and see if people have extra codes they are giving away!

Ah I see. I do live in the US but I suppose I'll live until the game really comes out :) The release date is sometime in November right? Perhaps for christmas...

Yeah, Nov 21st! Although the demo doesn't have anything directly related to the actual game's story, besides just talking about Mega Evolution. The demo is basically just some fun little side stories that tide you over until the actual release. xD

I was excited for the ORAS demo code, but the demo itself is kind of repetitive. Most of it is just "go here and battle these trainers". Back to shiny hunting for me, it seems.

Id love the code if no one else asked for it. XD as a side not Im also replaying Y till the game comes out and shiny hunting on x. :)

Just want to take a moment to say that Pokemon glitches are some of the best things to happen. Especially Blue/Red/Yellow/Green glitches.
