my quilava named vesuvius is taking care of things though.

i only have 2 other pokemon on my team as placeholders: cockatiel the pidgey and brody the slowpoke. XD

Darn you ghastly! I just defeated the rival myself, oddly enough Barry took care of most of it, the lil shroom. He's got poison heal so I'm totally leaving him poisoned as much as I can so he can regain hp at the end of each turn. It fits with his discomfort amiright? XD

AHHH OARS! So happy. But to all my poke friends out there.... I have both copies and I still haven't even turned them on :( I spent all week moving in with my boyfriend, and we're still unpacking. And here's a question to you and everyone: Do you plan out your team before you start or just make it up as you go along? Lately I've been planning out what I want on my team in advance, but I'm finding it difficult to find the pokemon I need in a timely manner and end up with placeholder pokemon.

you can get these legends you lack in game depending on the version you get. XD I can trade you the ones I catch in alpha sapphire if you still need them. If you are only getting one of the games I can catch/trade whatever you cant get in the version of the game you didnt get. I just havent had time to clone recently ^^;

No planning for me, I definitely just make it up as I go. Probably more troublesome for battles but that's ok!

I bought both versions so I should be good. As long as I don't need the Eon I'll be covered on them. I'm still unable to even turn on my 3DS :( But after Thanksgiving I have the house to myself for a week so that's pretty much all I'll be doing at that point.

my HG team is finally coming together... I have a gastly now which will become a haunter, and I found a larvitar in the safari zone! it's a pupitar now and has a long way to go til final stage. my quilava evolved to typhlosion, i've had my miltank for a while, but the snubbull is probably the hardest thing ever. why did i have to want a pokemon that has a 1% chance of being found lmao also idk when i get ho-oh but i hope it's soon.

so update on my HG team: it still sucks. After spending 30-40 min on the last badge battle, I'm having to fight the kimono girls and I died. I'm awful. lmao. I'm going to have to reconsider my team and possibly add the red gyarados to it? Reason being I keep having to take him out to do whirlpool since none of my team knew how. After I fight the kimono girls though I'm pretty sure I get ho-oh.

I will hunt one too if i ever get to that route euopean meh I found a random shiny Zigzagoon on the first route, and today a shiny Geodude @@ that's only my 4th and 5th random shinies in 18 years (omg) of pokemon. 3 of which were in Pearl and 2 now in AS.... Hope I will be lucky with Rayquaza resetting , i might maybe gamble for Latias too since I already got a shiny latios in B2 :3

Ahh you should maybe go level somewhere, i forgot how i did on my old HG but i'm pretty sure i was always overleveled... but i'm sure you can do it too c: I rushed the game a lot until Ho-Oh hahah

Yea I'm finding it hard to level/grind now though ;-; I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just battle pokemon in the grass for a while. I normally wouldn't have an issue, but I'm doing things differently in this game.

Usually I spend all my time leveling up my starter and he's very overpowered and I have no problem with fights but in this game I've spent like more than half the time looking for the pokemon I wanted on my team and so everyone's really weak! :c Now my starter guy is only level 38 which is pretty much the same as the kimono girls pokemon I think. And all my other pokemon are several levels weaker.

Yeah, i know it's boring D: you can just set all effects to off, that makes it a bit faster.

Ahh they are strong though, I remember having half my team there die as well.. xD I always level my team equally, always have been doing it until I saw someone play HG with only his starter leveled... but I will keep doing it my way, get all he pretty Pokemon and level them w even if it takes longer... Ok in Red my Charizard was 40 before anyone else in my team was 15 hahah but then I leveled up the rest too... Pidgeot, Persian and whatever else i had o3o

I'd love to level all my pokemon equally but one always ends up more pampered than the rest xD one time in regular ruby I completely abandoned my starter in the pc and raised a different pokemon in it's place. It was powerful and over-leveled like the starter would be while the real starter never even evolved. x3 Was a gardevoir.

That could be fun! Though I really truly stink at battling, I'd be ok losing :) So my boyfriend left the house for a few days, I'm playing OARS like mad to try and make up for lost time.
