Today is my friend's birthday, and I didn't know that until I saw my friend's list! I don't want to miss any birthday, so I think it would be nice if we got a Notification when our friends are celebrating their birthday :D # suggest

Here is a compilation of the ideas that people have shared on this thread:

• Get a 1 day/week alert of a friend's upcoming birthday
• An option to enable/disable upcoming birthday alerts
• An option to "hide" your upcoming birthday
• A calendar that shows our friends' birthdays

I would even love a notification a day ahead, so i can prepare a present or so i can potion lottery bomb them .

Nice idea for people who would find it useful. :) There should be an option to disable them though, both for receiving notifications about upcoming birthdays, and for preventing your own being shared.

I like this idea. I'm pretty sure I accidentally miss a lot of birthdays so an alert (either a day in advance or on the day itself) would be great! However, I'd be unimpressed if this were implemented without the ability to toggle it on / off, both for receiving alerts and for giving them.

I think this would be a great idea and it seems like it should be fairly easy to implement since we already have the Birthday Icon, which would indicate who does or doesn't want it to go go out.

Forgot to mention that I would also like to see the notification go out the day before. By the time I usually get on here, the day is over half over.

Good idea. It might not be very helpful to anyone who wants to use this kind of feature if they get notified right on the person's birthday!

Having a notification go out a week before might be useful to some people too. Like if you're low on sP and need to save up, it would be nice to have plenty of notice so you can get on top of that! Or if there's a hard to find item you want to get the person, and you need time to find a seller.

Maybe there could be a few user set options for how early people want to be notified of an upcoming birthday. A month? A week? Do you want a second alert the day before? Or not get any birthday alerts at all.

Really love this idea. At least one notification but yes being able to get one a week and then a day before would be great. Many times I don't look at my friends list so if they dont' come on that day or remain hidden I don't realize it and miss the day.

I would adore this!! I even suggested its inclusion (among other things / only for those who have the cake enabled) on the Suggestions feed, in an attempt to make it more useful for everyone x_x Incoming birthdays could show up on top or something, to make sure we'd see it ;-;

I definitely want it to come early, if possible more than a day but at least one day would help!!

Edit: yes yes a week was my original thought, I think it gives you enough time to find something at least!

Haha say Happy Birthday to him/her! I found like 4 people whose Birthday is today XD Oh I didn't know this was already suggested o: I agree with you. I think it would be cool if we could change when we want to get the notification, a day before, a week before or the same day.

XD I think I saw the idea pop up a couple times, my suggestion was more about the Suggestions feed as a whole ([x]), but I'd be 100% happy if this got implemented as a "friends list" feature on its own as well u If we could pick how much in advance we could get some sort of notification it'd be great ^-^
