Hi everyone,

Just wanted to post a quick intro to say hi and tell you how much fun I am having here. I was on Neo for over ten years and was never able to really do the things I wanted and was very frustrated with many aspects.

A friend told me about Subeta a few weeks ago and I cannot get over the difference. I mean, it's worlds and worlds away from Neo. It's amazing here, I feel like I can actually do (and afford!!) the fun things I want to do. I think I have done more on Subeta in a few weeks than I did in the entire time I was playing Neo. (I wish I were kidding; I am totally not.) Plus, I have so much fun looking at everyone's creativity with their avatars.

I have only recently made my way to the forums now that I am getting more used to how things work here, so I look forward to getting to know you all and learning from you.

Welcome to Subeta! I switched from Neo a couple years ago and have never looked back! Enjoy your time here, it's quite fun with so many things to do. You have quite a beautiful HA!

Welcome, I am a fellow Neopet addict too but Subeta is just easier, kinda like Neo ten years back!

Thanks for the welcome, ! I'll definitely let you know if i have any questions--or if I need rescuing from my yarn stash, LOL. I just finished a bunch of knitting, so now I am actually starting some embroidery projects! :D

you finished stuffs?!? Thats a cause for celebration round my way! I think my WIPs have now over taken the space my yarn takes up... Pfhht, they will get done at some point!

Good luck! Ive never entered any of my stuffs to fairs, I really should... I do intend to but then forget about it! Mind you I tend to stitch odd stuff like massive zombie heads or knit stupid mathematical blankets. Not necessarily what would go down well next to some plum jams!

Actually when I saw this post in the most recently updated I didn't even realize it was you. hen I see people who are Neopets refugees I like to welcome them and be like, me too! I was all set to give my usual spiel about how Subeta is better and then I realized whose post I was looking at, and I was like OH LOL.

I don't know what a mathematical blanket is (google would have me believe it's as myladysilver said, but google does not always help), but it sounds really neat and you should totally enter one to a fair.

, hehe, yeah. I finally made my way over to the forums. I avoided them for a while, and then I was like, waitaminute I bet the forums here are not torturous like the Neo ones are (which I only visited so I could complete quests).

Yeah Subeta is on all points nicer than Neopets. The drawings are nicer and more drawn with love and detais. Neopets is onley plump and flat.

In commercial case subeta is also more clever and atractive. Neopets forces this commercial case to make nice NP intems more and more difficult to get or to buy.

The rules on Subeta are realistic and that's the reason everybody is in general nicer to each other here. Neopets has got many rules who are actually based on noncence. The biggest noncence rule on neopets is you are not allowed to help new or poor users to buy a junck item in thair shops or gife them an expensive item they wish. Actually you may on neopets not be so kind as you want. If you help some one else your account on neopets can be frozen. They call this friendly behavior "cheeting".

Yup, I have got bad experiences on neopets and many friends of mine on neopets are frozen for this reason. I don't join it anymore.

There's loads of autumnal events ^-^ Right now there's Keelhauliday happening, which is why people are dressed up as pirates. It's based off the real life "talk like a pirate day". Then coming up after that is Alegarten, which is based off of Oktoberfest, then Morostide which is Halloween, then Fireside which is like, thanksgiving/autumn harvest kind of thing... There's just loads to do this season 8) And in general.

Neopets has just become so boring, on top of all the ridiculous rules they have. I don't even understand what people DO on neopets all day. When Neopets was moving servers recently and was down for a few days I saw all sorts of people come here while they waited. It was kind of funny.

I've never been very good at forums of any kind, I just can't keep up in that sort of environment. I forget to check back and then the thread gets away from me and then I'm like, it's too much effort for me to catch up gives up forever I never even went on the Neo forums other than a fwew times (and that time I was in the BC I spent a lot of time on the BC chat!) because people there were jerks and the format was just awful. When I learned you could ping people on here I was like OMG BEST FEATURE EVER and I think everything should have pinging. So I'm more comfortable here than other places, but I'm still not very good at it. ^^

However neopets has got ten years ago already a lot of unececary rules.
