I knew that Neo made it difficult to do things, but I never realized how truly difficult they made it until I came here and I can actually DO so many of the things I'd like to do! You are welcome for the stickers! Now that I have friends, I have people to share them with, so it is more fun. :)

, it is hard for me to even remember a time when Neo wasn't crazy and impossible, even when I first started playing. It was a struggle just to paint your pet something like purple, much less Fairy or Starry! Oh, I always read the item descriptions on Subeta! They are fun. I haven't read the book more than once, but I have reread her blog entries many times and laughed so loudly at work that my coworkers ask me what is so funny. :)

I know, I had the same reaction. Everything here actually works so nicely! Like the first time I realized that the shop search was already the "super shop wiz" and even showed NPC shops. So neat! And the links to shop search when you're doing a quest are awesome. Just open them in a new tab and quests are so efficient! :o

I also think the "super shop wiz" here is really great for looking up quest items and other things. I shudder when I think about Neo's shop search, where sometimes it's a real pain to find anything at all...

True, but it was do-able at least. You just had to work hard. I love having to work for a goal, but now you can work hard for years and never know if you'll be able to get the pet you're after. I spent a year and $150 working on a pet to trade for a UC Darigan eyrie. That's ridiculous. And was before BD values went down. :( Meanwhile you can buy stolen neopets for $35.... and neo wonders what the problem is :P I'm incredibly bitter about it.

Hi there! I also played on Neo, started my account 13+ years ago. But, Neo burned in a lot of ways, so I left.

Subeta is SO much better, and way more fun, and I think the community is all around nicer than on Neo. SO YAYS. :D

, exactly!! I think you are the second person to mention the BD values being a problem. Clearly, that's a problem, as are the stolen pets. (I had no idea that was happening, but I'm not surprised! Suddenly I'm kind of glad my pets on Neo were so boring! XD) They don't really seem to care much about accounts that are vandalized (my sister's was broken into once, for example).

I haven't had much time looking for names during last week, plus no time to check the names I already listed. But I think I can make up for it this weekend. I don't have a set list of anime. The next animes I wanted to check are Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin, Black Butler, Fairy Tail and Black Cat. But I can include Elfen Lied as well :)

When I read through all this here being written about Neo, I'm quite glad that I only own "boring" converted pets. Well, I'm training a pet right now for maybe trading it for a UC Faerie Xweetok sometime in the future. But I only got to ~850 HSD so far (and I started last year in October)... ^^"

, I am sure you will get there someday with your Xweetok! I always admire the work the people put into their pets as they work so hard to reach their goals! I never had any hardcore goals with my pets, I just liked organizing things and since painting my pets was generally out of my reach, I mostly worked on collections (like my Slorg collection)!

- Hi! I'm a neo player, too, and I agree with you that Subeta is a much easier site to play on. I still go to Neo to feed my pets, but I rarely do more than that and check my stockmarket. It's not fun to live in fear of having your account hacked.

No, it definitely wasn't Jewel, seems like it was a bit before her time (I met Jewel in a G3 RP, though she could have been active before then... at least I think that was Jewel...). She had a two part name, I think? None of the people I know for sure also had sigs by her are active anymore... and the only ones I can remember are Chanth and Icefeather anyway. ^^; I tried to log into the tp but I'm sure it's been so long my account has been deleted. Man! This is gonna drive me nuts!

, hi, nice to meet you! I will probably go back to Neo when the Advent Calendar is up, but probably for not much more than that. I even went there faithfully for a couple weeks while they did a site event a couple weeks ago and even though I managed to solve their logic puzzle, you got a few items, but not even a trophy for your profile! That was kind of the last straw for me. I had no idea so many people feared hacking on Neo! :( It makes me sad.
