I made quite a few friends on the forums just bumping threads for people. I'd go to the same boards to help and we'd get to know each other. I liked that the boards moved so fast, but they feel really out-dated. Especially guild boards. I could never keep up with those since there wasn't any way to organize topics.

waves Hi and welcome to Subeta! Guess I should confess, I was a Neo addict for about 10 yrs (had been with them almost since the beginning lol) I stopped playing after Adam and Donna left. Most of my friends on there migrated over here, I followed and haven't looked back once. I actually took the plunge and deleted my acct with Neo. I had a Gray Poogle and a Darigan Ixi that I spent so much on, but it was time to say goodbye sigh Ah well. Subeta is pretty awesome and I love it here.

PINWHEEL. YES. Man I knew she had a longer, two-part name. I think by the time I got mine she was beginning to tire of making them, cause she got a little short with me for asking her to format my name differently... I felt all bad for asking. ._.

The wayback machine... now there's an idea. How would one even go about doing that...? I wouldn't even know what to search...

, It's just called "The Wayback Machine". It's a website that cataloged a lot of other websites before they expired. You can even find the original Yahoo search page through it, for example!

Also, they wouldn't be. I really enjoy making things affordable for others, rather than be exclusive.

, I think I had a very different experience on the Neo boards than you did! They were never a really comfortable place to me and I grew very tired of all the immaturity. This Subeta messageboard is the first messageboard I've felt comfortable on since I left the original messageboard that got me onto the internet in 2001 (I stopped going to that board around 2004)!

, thank you for the welcome! There is nothing wrong with being a Neo addict. I was for a long time also. I think I had no idea that some of the main contributors left. That might be why it went downhill so quickly. That happens when companies grow too big too quickly and things change with no time to adjust or to think out a good plan. I have thought of closing my account there. I am not quite ready to do it yet, but I have to admit that Subeta makes it seem more likely that I will. Though it's hard because I spent a lot of real money on it.

No, I know what the wayback machine is, I just meant I wouldn't know how to go about searching something like that using it. I did make a half-assed attempt but it was like, search mlptp.net, oh look 100,000 results!

I looked and it wasn't in the images on my old website... but searching on Kaylee is a pain in the butt because I have to lean over awkwardly and the screen starts flickering after a while, so I might be able to do a more thorough search later if I can ever find my external so I can transfer the files. Uggggh technology.
