Well I didnt get asked and Im so totally bored now because no one talked to me ALL day because they were on day dates and such. So annoying right? Anyways, Im still bored and I SO want to talk! So how did your prom night go?
Well... I didn't go to my junior prom. Haven't had my senior yet. My boyfriend... We didn't go to either of his. :(
We did curl up and watch movies though.
Thats eventful =) I babysat all night and then halfway through I realized that it was prom night. Quite a shocker actually :)
Prom night. Overrated, if you ask me. It's a night to dress purdy and dance with someone you barely know, so people who see you will think you're popular. OVERRATED. Maybe I'm just saying that because I was never popular (in this case, meaning nobody ever noticed me at all), or because I'm not into guys and dating and all that. On prom night, I stayed home playing Pokemon. :|
[edit]Post number 2222! :o
I'm not in high school yet, so my prom night was.... non-existent.
I did help my friend get ready for her prom, and that was fun. c:
=) Im not very big into it either.... =) just another dance... But, I like the dresses and getting fancied up =P Thats my favorite part =P Typical, I know =)
-edit-
Congrats =) Lol. 2222! Dannnnng.....Ive got a long way to go to get there... :/
I haven't had a prom yet (to young) but I probably won't go (I'll stay home and do exactly what I'm doing now: play on subeta and read cracked articles).
I went to my prom! It was boring as hell and a waste of money. The music was terrible and turned up FAR too loud, so my friends and I sat in the lobby and talked the whole time. So boring. :/ Be glad you didn't go!
Hahaha, Ok! Im glad =) But it probably would have been a step up from babysitting =/
I didn't go to my prom. Not my thing, I guess. I went to work instead.

Eh.. getting a date isn't necessarily all that it's cut out to be and to be honest, you don't necessarily need a date anyway. Well, you don't need to go with a significant other anyway in order to have a good prom. I went with one of my best friends who's a guy so it worked out fine in the end and I loved my prom.
Work................Fun =/ Lol. I hate working, if I could get off easy and not have to work to support myself I wouldnt do it...
Mercurius,
I totally agree. But all my friends were going with someone their age and my other guy friends aren't in high school yet. Its sad to say but I really dont make many friends my age, they are all tons older or tons younger =P
I went to my junior prom last year, despite all the people grinding, and had fun with my date and other friends. I have no date this year, but I'm still going with a few friends to our senior prom and after prom in two weeks. I'm not too sure if I'm excited about going or not yet, but I guess I'll see. :l
My Prom was years ago but I had more fun after Prom than during, I didn't have a date either so I just took a girl friend of mine that was home schooled so that she'd be able to have somewhat of a Prom.
It's a waste of money and only fun if you are friends with everyone and/or drunk. Seriously, $500 could be much better spent!

My senior prom was alright I guess :/ I mean, nothing special. Preparing for it was a lot more fun than actually being there, it was sort of awkward and I knew everyone anyway (my school wasn't very big). I'm a veteran dress shopper though so that was lovely, managed to find an outfit that didn't look like shit and wasn't made of satin :) And that I could actually use for other occasions too. Love it.
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
I didn't feel like going...
I felt a bit bad though cause a few people really wanted be to go, buuuuut I got Mexican food so I don't care. =p
I was asked by three girls and one guy, which was a bid strange because he's (claims to be at least ;)) straight.
I didn't go to my prom (or anyone else's). I see it as a waste of money and time. I'm glad I didn't go. My boyfriend and I went out to a really nice dinner instead and hung out the rest of the night. It was much more personal and nicer than spending a billion dollars on a dress I'd wear once, and spending time with a bunch of people I either don't like or don't know, and listening to crappy music.
