I know people have ranted about this before but ever since we got the Glade pets I have noticed an abundance of these kind of comments and they are really irritating...

When there is a news post saying that certain species of pets are available in Glade (or whatever color), please realize it's rude to make comments asking for different pets to be done in that color. Artist work hard to get these pets as close to perfection as possible for us and it's a virtual slap in the face to ignore that and instead ask for MOAR MOAR AND MOAR.

Respect. Show some.

I agree completely. HI, NEWSFLASH, you're taking away from the awesomeness when you talk about other pet colors. IS NOT THEIR TIME YET. I know when pet colors come out, I may in the back of my mind be going "OK, those are cool, can't wait to see _____." But I am not gonna sit there and complain about it, or comment on it. Because all it's going to accomplish is MORE people going "YEAH WHY NOT IN THIS SPECIES YET?", etc.

Its their own fault for making them so great that people want them for all pets.

If I were an artist, there'd be few things more disheartening than having my latest work ignored in place of demands for something new.

I totally agree! The artists are doing their best for this site and it's amazing how rude and disrespectful certain users can be. At the end of the day the artists are only human just like the rest of us. I wonder how these complainers would feel if they did something great for other people only to get ungrateful complaints slapped in their faces?

People (in general) just don't seem to ever get enough. Never appreciated what they have, always looking for what may come around the corner instead of seeing the awesomeness right in front of their faces. But now I have to stop talking about human nature before this descends into some rant.

I especially hate it when people recognize that what they're doing is rude: "I know we're not supposed to ask for new pets put hinthint nudgenudge my pet ______ would look really amazing as an ________" I just... don't understand people sometimes.

Yeah, that's the thing I don't get. The artists do them by species, not color. So maybe the person that does your species just hasn't done it yet or finished it yet. Be a little more patient.

I'm guilty in going 'I can't wait to see the _____ :D' but I hope that artists didn't take offense at comments like that. I would never go 'WHEN ARE WE GETTING THE ___ D:' because that's just bratty.

The new glade pets are coming fast and furious. You'd figure if someone wants a certain pet to be done, they'd maybe manage to keep their cake hole shut for at least a few days and see what develops.

It is so frustrating to see people throw aside one artist's hard work in favor of demanding that another artist do a completely different pet. When I make those news posts, it is to comment on the pets that I have made available. It's not a suggestions thread for all the pets you want to see done instead of those two or three.

I don't think users realize how much our team thrives off feedback. Even if the artist doesn't apply it right then, I guarantee you s/he keeps it in mind for future art. So when they're that thirsty for feedback on what they've just completed, seeing it disregarded in favor of "I WANT A MONTRE." or "THE HARVESTER WILL BE NEXT. Y/Y???" it does them absolutely no good. It's as if you're telling the artist what was released is worthless to you. It's such a slap in the face, and as their director, it hurts me to see them so frustrated too.

We know we need to release other pets in other colors. And, personally, I do get that people are excited about our pets and just want to see their favorites, but there is a time and a place for that. Make a thread on the forums for the pet you'd like to see most so that you and other fans of that pet can get all giddy together. I'm sure if the artist saw that, s/he'd be much more encouraged.

I don't expect Subeta as a whole to ever really understand this, but it is nice to see a small group who knows what the definition of respect is. ❤️

Yep, I too am totally a slave to the "I cant wait to see... " category. :)

Though, with the price of Glade potions right now, I hope they dont release the Illumis for a while. It will give me a chance to make the $$ to buy a potion, and hopefully let them settle a little in price, too.

I'm also waiting for a certain pet. I have a glade potion sitting in reserve for her. If that pet becomes available in glade, I'll be mucho happy. I'm not about to poke out a pouty lip and start stamping my little feet for it though. :)

I personally think it boils down to time and place . I personally have something in my user status about the Glade pet I am hoping for... and I highly doubt that the artist that drew the newest Glade pets are put off by it at all, because I am not asking them about it or making comments about the Dillema in the news post about the Telenine...

I am 99% certain the Illumis won't be done for a while as the artist that did them isn't on staff right now. Unless of course she did it before she left...?

It personally makes me happy if someone is looking forward to a pet of mine, but there's a time and place for it. It's a little rude to say "I want the Celinox" in the comments for, say, the Kora, as it's disrespectful to the Kora artist. If you don't have anything to say that's relevant to the news post, don't say it?

I'd like to assume that these people just don't realise that their posts might be rude, though. :)

Anyway, I think there needs to be a note in the news posts that comments should be about the pets in the post only. Kinda sad that we'd even need it, though.

But that was good, because you asked me in my comments, and I am pleased that you seem to like my ruffies so much n__n I don't mind when users politely ask me in private if I have plans to draw a certain pet soon - I tend to move it up my priority list if I know someone is going to be pleased about it! It's really just the news comments that bother me, because people are ignoring what the post is about and making it about something else.
