See?! Now I have extra time to make more $, and the prices will settle. Having to wait isnt always a bad thing. :D Maybe I'll get lucky and restock a pitcher, then I wouldnt have to pay for one.
Thanks for the tip, Jessyta ❤
I think it's alright to say "I hope ________ is next!" because I know if I were the artist that drew the pet in question, I'd be flattered. It's another thing entirely to obsessively DEMAND and beg that a certain pet be next, especially on a news post about a current one. If you ARE going to say something about wanting another one, at least compliment the ones being posted, since they're all gorgeous. I think people forget sometimes that our artists are people, not machines.
Oh, I get your point about time and place. I spazz about what pets I'm hoping will get chosen next all over the place EXCEPT in news comments. I would feel bad disregarding an artist's work like that.
I go by 'Good things come to those who wait' and being a brat will probably just cause the artist to put off doing something out of irritation. D:
I agree with you hun. The artist do an amazing job on these pets and instead of people commenting to the pet just made they are whining that the pet they want hasn't been released yet.
They need to address the pet at hand. I mean think about all the time spent drawing that pet. I am sure the artist would have more inspiration to get started on the next pet if they heard more about how awesome the pet they just finished looked!
I think it boils down to being so freakin spoiled on this site, that people forget to appreciate what they get.
I think its ok to ask nicely if a ____ pet is going to be released. You can ask nicely and not come off spoiled. It is all about tact, that in this case, those users are lacking. As long as the posted art is talked about, I am ok with having the questioned asked politely, though I am not an artist.
Lurking like lurkers do...
So asking nicely is acceptable :) Good to know.
Hmm.. There is a random question Id like to ask reguarding a pet color, but I dont know alot about the site artists, so I wouldnt know who to direct it to...
Ive been waiting for an Angelic Harvester to be released. I dont even know IF they plan to do that color. My dad died just about 3 years ago, and I created a harvester in memory of him, and Angelic would just fit perfectly.
Anyone know if this is a planned color, or perhaps the name of an artist/staff member who would know?
All pets will come in all colors eventually. As for when that eventually can be, we can't tell you :)
, since in the director of the entire art department, sending her a mail or comment would probably be the best way to get that answered. :)
Well, I got my Glade Kerubi, and am saving for a Glade _______ ... so I have nothing to whine about at the moment. @.@
Edit: Actually, I'd like to see it in ________, but since I'm poor right now, I'm not in a hurry. xD
Edit Again: I was just idly comenting, and actually trying to agree with the OP. @.@
This thread really was not made to find out what species of pet people want in Glade. :/
lol @ how many boards there are going all RESPECT FOR STAFF PLZ
it makes the users sound so selfish and ungrateful :(
not that i disagree with anything said :x i have yet to understand why people think the site is out to specifically ruin their experience or why their reaction is "but i want __" instead of "pretty pet, thanks artist can't wait to see more"
I wasnt looking for a definitive timeline, just a confirmation that it wasnt on a Never-Gonna-Happen list. :)
Thanks!
Aside from the abundance of asking for different pets, there's also been an unusually high number of nasty, unhelpful comments floating around about recent pet releases/revamps. :/ People need to learn some tact, srsly.
Is it still at least verbally warnable if a user is outright rude in the news comments if it's not a revamp poll? I hope so.
I think has the Illumis now? She did Nightmare, anyway...
The only thing I'm upset about is that certain pets don't get revamped, or new colors at all -cough- hipposauru-cough- that's the only real pet rant I have. I'd never bitch about it on the comments for a new pet though, it makes no sense.
I personally think it depends on the situation. I've done it in the past after commenting on how much I really liked a newly released pet, ie. 'This pet is gorgeous, really liking ___, kudos to the artist, can't wait to see ___ in this colour', but in that situation I've said it because the artist has done such a fantastic that they're getting me pumped to see what's coming. Yet, like others have said when it's put in the 'I want this, I want that' situation, I only have one question, why?
I think it's a little rude an obnoxious to do that, especially if the pets were JUST released. The artists are doing the best they can. What more do you people want?
It wouldn't bother me if it were things like 'Oh, I wonder what the ____ would look like?' Because last night I was JUST thinking that about the Paralix. And lo and behold, look at what's in the news today. (It's GORGEOUS btw ❤)
So instead of demanding more from the artists, why don't you people just be grateful for what you got?
It's rude and terribly annoying. we get a new color, a event, new items, item revamps, a bunch of gorgouse new pets and yet some of use aren't happy yet. I'm not asking for a new release of a glade pet, I have it hard enough to decide what I would want. so instead of wishing that they would release a new glade pet, i wish that the artists get some nice chocolate pie. They deserve it!

Am guilty. :D Only because the pet I wanted to change to Glade I have already owned for months, and I just didn't know what to paint her. When the Glade color came out, it was perfect for her. So I wanted to know if the color would be available in her species which I wanted to keep the same, or if I would end up waiting 2-3 years for Glade to be released in her species.
Yes, I love all the Glade pets and their artwork. If I had any dislike for them I wouldn't care if that specific species pet ever became available in that color or not.
I really... don't see what's so bad about it >_> Everyone has their right to express themselves.

Le gasp!
As said:
Frustrated artists are unmotivated artists, and unmotivated artists do not produce Subeta-quality artwork.
People practicing their 'right to express themselves' are actually screwing themselves by asking in the wrong place for the pets they want.
