Don't get me wrong, I love seeing new wearables. Most of them are nicely done and a great addition to the wardrobe.

My only complaint is the lack of male items. I'm aware that there are indeed items for male avatars, but I find they aren't released as frequently as female items.

I'm just a bit tired of the only new male-themed wearables being available in costume trunks. :x

(I'm also aware that women tend to have a more varied wardrobe than men, but even simple skirts that seem to have a 1,000 different patterns are released again and again on Subeta)

Well from what I remember... Male clothing is often much more difficult to draw, there for there isn't much released... There was a big discussion/debate on this... a month ago... I'm pretty sure...

I really can't relate but I do notice that artists have been trying a little bit harder to make more male items.

I think it's probably a lot easier for the artists to make female items.

I must have missed that, Amei.

I guess my major complaint is that most of the newer (and awesome), male HA items come in costume trunks. I'd be nice to see some new items RS in the shops.

(Like pinstripe socks/suits, more fedoras, etc.)

I have to agree, I was just thinking that an hour or so ago.

Maybe the artists should aim to achieve 1 item/set of male clothing for every x of female? They haven't released anything for guys in ages. Seen lots of girl clothing though.

those are good suggestions you have, maybe make a suggestion thingy for them? Cos I think with artists, from the last discussion, the trouble was coming up with ideas for items rather than doing them :)

Hmm, if I remember correctly, the artist who drew the new seductive button ups believed that the male version was the better version...and it DOES look masculine.

Does that count as a 'male' item?

EDIT: Plus, the new suspenders and hats are pretty unisex items...

That would be fairly unfair to the female population as the male:female proportion on subeta is much lower than 1:1 xD

I DIDN'T READ. SUE ME. xD

But yeah, It's what the artists want to do and most of them being female you can imagine getting more female clothes is normal.

By the way, all these were released in July and are male/masculine/very versatile/neutral to say the least.

I think they mean like... for ever 4 (not real number) sets/set of items for females there'd be one for guys.

Let's get some briefs up in here :D!

But srsly, I agree with KEN; even though I'm not one to change my HA like, ever, I would still like to see an ordinary set of items released that would be relevant to my gender-expressing interests.

(But really, I wouldn't mind some of these on Subeta.)

- There's no way in the slightest that those mini hats are 'masculine'. If I wore that out in public, I'd get my ass kicked. (Yes I am aware I am wearing wings) LOL.

- The suspenders are nice; not complaining about the items that are out there. It just seems like we get a billion skirts and feminine items.

Imagine how pissed everyone would be if all we saw were 'new fedoras!' or 'new male hair gel' every other week? Even the hat box re-release was a disappointment, male wise. :(

So you're saying that top hats are... feminine? Is that what you're saying? o__o;

No, they're neutral items meant to be cute. Just because they're not the manliest doesn't mean they aren't male items. I bet they weren't inspired by a hat for women.

@ Iason567 - That's the kind of thing I'm talking about! -nodnod-

I suggested in the Suggestions and Ideas bin twice now for cycling items, since the Tour De France is a male sport, but nothing yet. :( I hoped for some tour-themed items last year as well, but no luck. :x

We could use some more sports jerseys/basketball jerseys, etc.

Like said, those jackets, suspenders, and hats are masculine/unisex.

There's also been 2 masculine Subeautique sets released(with two female ones), the Rompers, the Goggles, the Striped pants/tank tops, and yes the MCTs.

I don't think male items are actually as rare as most people think they are. Sure, there's more female items, but that could be due to the fact that a lot of the artists are female. I enjoy drawing things that I want to wear on my HA, like I did with those skirts.

There's also a suggestions area.

Edit: LOL. Yeah, except those hats aren't decorated unbelievably feminine like that. ;)

They aren't covered in lace, flowers and patterns. They are small hats with buckles. REGARDLESS, there were still two other male items released within the past two weeks and there were two female items released in the past two days. I see your complaint as ignoring the items that are indeed masculine (even if the hats aren't, whatever, there are still two others) just because you want more male items that you personally like.

And FYI, I would never go out in a mini hat either. Does that make them not male or female? Hmm..

- Are we talking Boy George masculine? D:

I do agree though that since most of the artists are female, they naturally create more female items.

EDIT: Thanks to the magic of google:

You're right. It's masculine.
