Watch out, in creating this topic, you might end up getting burned. It was a fierce battle the last time something like this was created.

But I do agree. Even revamps of some of the basic suits would be nice. The pants are so short, they dont even cover the ankles, and they are super awkward. Maybe some ankle socks, or sportier tennis shoes, in more neutral color combinations.

Actual jerseys would be nice, other then the Atebus ones, theres not a lot of sport clothing. Even hobby style, like fishing gear, or items that are already drawn, but need a HA form could be used for inspiration, like the sports bags, or the lockers.

If you look closely, that woman in the picture KEN posted is totally wearing matching cherry suspenders.

I just wanted to point that out. I wonder how much they paid that lady to dress like that?

Okay, , move on from the hats. Stop ignoring the fact that two other 'masculine' or 'male' items were released within the past two weeks yet you're complaining about getting none.

Also, the artists have said numerous times to suggest what clothing you would like to see in the suggestion center. You're not going to get results by complaining about not getting any clothes when males have in fact been getting clothes.

- I think you've been ignored. :C

I think those hats were meant more for the lolita-like style. Which, technically, makes it unisex.

This debate AGAIN? xD Oh LOL!

Guys, chill. There are more girls then guys on this site so obviously female artists will cater to female users. Plus girls have a lot more fashiony stuff then guys.

I'm sure the artists are working on plenty of guy-friendly attires. You all just need a chill pill until they are released or use the Suggestion area to suggest male outfits/items.

Reading is your friend. I already mentioned that I liked the suspenders, as well as the fact that I've used the Suggestions & Ideas section. ;)

Already used the suggestions? Then you need to read my post and take a chill pill until they're released. C: The artists work as hard as they can and do a wonderful job. No need to stress them out further when they're trying to please everyone.

I kinda support this thread. o-o

Although there ARE male items out there, there's definitely not enough that you can make complex-layered male HAs with imo.

But yeah, a lot of the artists are girls, and it's probably a lot easier to relate to female fashion irl and draw more feminine-ish items thanks to that.

I... agree and disagree.

I can make plenty of complex layered HAs and still have them look male, it is all how you look at it. However, I agree that there aren't as many items, and just because you can do it doesn't make it easy. I've had it explained to me many times why though, so I'm not as upset about it anymore.

I am pretty sure that picture was taken many years ago. The makeup and hair themselves look like they're from the '80s. :/

:D

On a related note, I think there are plenty of male clothing pieces, I just think they need re-vamped.

I took the liberty of listing everything unisex or male related from the front page of the news. XD

Small Metal Spheres Male Hippy MCT Mini Hats All Tousled Cuts from Hatbox Button Up shirts Suspenders

Now, the female:

Dress Skirts Summery Dresses Small Metal Spheres Female Hippy MCT Mini Hats Candy Hair from hatbox Wavy Strands from hatbox Suspenders Tulle Tutus

So, we are looking at six to nine. That is a 3:2 ratio, I feel that is pretty good. :P

Yeah, that makes sense. XD I guess the point is, while there are male items, and, yes, it's possible to make nice HAs that retain some masculinity in them, it's harder with a more limited number of items to work with.

But considering the amount of men on the site compared to the amount of women it's really not that much of a difference at all. :

Even with the women that make male HAs - it's evened out with the males who make female HAs (which seem to be a lot!)

That's more of what I'm getting at as well. Not really complaining about any of the newer item releases at all. I get that they can be used on men as well (as compared to the skirts! LOL), they just aren't what I was referring to as male-themed items. ^_^;

Maybe it would be nice if some of the older male items could be revamped. I agree with the comment on some of the older slacks not covering the ankles/bad lineart etc. :)

I think I've gotten over this debate and accepted the fact that if you layer "feminine" items correctly, you can turn them masculine. The only difference is fit and length of things, and if you hide those with jackets, vests, etc, you can turn things quite masculine.

We actually just made like... a ton of male clothes?

The shorts / shirts / etc etc. We released a TON OF male clothes. Like I've said every single time a thread like this comes up.

Go to ANY clothes website, or walk into a clothing store. Notice how much of the store is dedicated to girls, and how much of it is to boys?

You'll also notice that all of the boys clothes are the same. There are graphic tees, and there are vnecks. And then graphic vnecks.

There just isn't that much variation, and we've tried really hard. Just because there isn't 50 new sets of clothing coming out a day for males, doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the clothing already release. Hundreds, specifically for males. ;)

I think most of you guys just need to run to the subeta hq and check all the mens items that are available because they are a lot of them.

I mean I have 55 pages in my wardrobe with all my clothes being displayed.

And I have a few unisex items to be sure, but still folks, they are out there (and I have not even had time to nab a lot of the new cheap guys items too)
