My friends are your friends. If you are setting up an art shop, need advice on an avatar or pet profile, need comforting with a RL issue, have something to brag or complain about, want to sell or trade items, or just want to say "HELLO," you can ping us all, once per day.
There are 15 members total, so that is the maximum number of pings per day you would get. EVER. And that would be if everyone was online and available, and decided to ping the group on the same day. Not very likely...
But if you are getting too many notifications, you can leave the ping group and remain a member. <3 No hard feelings!

Because this is a small, tight-knit group of friends, I tend to give out free art, random presents, and I am happy to do favors like lending wearables, sticking you with stickers or critiquing your art/writing/profiles/avatars, etc. if asked to do so. Don't expect it, but don't be surprised if I do offer to do something nice for you! Being in this group means I think you're awesome! Being my friend gets you certain privileges, 'cause you guys are always so nice to me!~ <3 Just know that things come up in the awful mess I call "real life" so if I promise you something and I'm slow to deliver, please be patient. WHERE WAS LLAMA HIDING?

I have been on "hiatus" for a long time. Unfortunately I missed Keehauliday, Allergaten and most of Morostide, as well as a few birthdays, and time I would have liked to spend with my friends here. I'm sorry. I had to cancel the orders of those who wanted to buy art long ago, but I worked on many of them anyway, for practice and to give to my friends as gifts. It's the thought that counts, and knowing you were willing to pay for my art makes me happy. I tried to complete as many of the requests as I could, knowing that they would be free should I finish them. I couldn't keep you waiting with life so unpredictable. I'm sorry.
The reasoning for me being gone from my favorite site for so long is a combination of things; I had less free time when school started, then I missed some school when I had to go to an inpatient hospital for a week to get my mood meds adjusted. (I was prescribed bad meds and they were making me crazy. I took them as prescribed, but it was a bad choice on the doctor's part, and my body reacted badly to them. I had to be monitored to come off them.) Then I took some time off after my mom had surgery which overlapped the time in which I had kidney stones and we were both home. Following that, I got a sinus infection which lasted over a month, and suffered from some pretty bad depression and anxiety, and got further behind in school. Mom is scheduled for more surgery soon, but things are looking up. I have broken past that barrier; the barrier that I felt was pushing me down and keeping me from being happy. It will take a med adjustment to maintain that, but I broke out of the darkness on my own, which makes me strong (so says the doc I talked to today,) and gives me hope and more confidence in myself. It takes a combination of effort on my part and medication to be healthy, I can't be OK with just one or the other. Meds won't work if I won't get out of bed, and positive thinking can't scare away depression. But I am finding balance, and should have more time here soon. Just need to catch up in school.

A belated happy birthday to you hun! I've been super busy myself, so I haven't had much time to really do anything on-site for a while either.
One of my friends came and stayed with us for a few days, and among other things like going to Yellowstone, I got to take photos of her BJD! He's just the cutest thing! But now I really want a doll from that artist, haha.

[edit] Thanks so much for the lattes! And I love opening boxes. C: QWERTY looked up from his computer long enough to nod towards you in thanks. He's a barista working at a local coffee shop. They allow him to use the wi-fi during slow times at the cafe and after hours. The wi-fi is free at the cafe and the coffee keeps him awake all night when he's on his computer. He's an aspiring poet, a genius, and a computer hacker. And he eventually he learns he can hack into the universe itself. With his computer, he can time travel, and that will play into his story. All those lattes will go in his Treasure Chest! Thanks!

Yeah, I saw it again on Style-File! I'm stalking you and all the other people in LLAMARAMA. But I really like your HA's because of how unique they are and how you combine gritty with chic. And pull it off. I love your sense of style! o

I don't know if I have a big ego and my avatars are unappreciated, or if I just suck and I'm blissfully ignorant. The CHIC guidelines have changed a lot since I was gone. I tried to apply in my first year here, and now I'm in my third. I met you all just before my third Subeta-versary, but I solely focused on fashion, not friends until now. I think I could have made it if I had a time machine and could go back with my current skills and wardrobe, since they told us not to abuse the same items, or abuse sets, and go for perfect color-matching, to have some variety. They especially told me to vary my faces. But now it looks like people have their own favorite items, and people are just following whatever trends are set. And I can tell when one item is trendy because on Style File the Top 5 for the week all have the same eyes or wig or color scheme. And add in the CW's and it puts you at a disadvantage unless you want to spend a ton of cash on Subeta. I try to work with what I have though. But sometimes it seems like a popularity contest on there too. I just want people to love my avatars as much as I love making them. I don't need to be in any top 5, or top 10, or top 100 even... sigh
But the is cooler than CHIC anyway, right? Right? >.> I was thinking of making some contests or some event when there isn't a Subeta one going on. Just something simple, for fun. I'll be brainstorming.
BUT GUYS GUESS WHAT? My wardrobe has 4966 items in it! Don't I get something at 5k?

I think having a casual group of close friends online is better than a large group of friends you have to apply to hang out with, who act like family, but if you break the rules, or can't log in; you're out and have to apply all over again. It's kinda harsh. I'm sure many of them are nice, and CHIC gets a bad rep for being snooty, but I've seen it firsthand. When there was CHIC summer camp, and I couldn't log into my wardrobe for almost 2 months, they told me "too bad, so sad." One prompt I was 1 minute past due for submitting it, and it didn't count. I spent all day on that avatar, but the cutoff is 12:00 AM exactly.
And I just looked at the achievements, I get a Mysterious Costume Trunk at 5k wardrobe items. I'm so close. I wonder what's in the trunk? It looks so mysterious!
