Hey I have a shiny, new tank ready for us to chat in!

Hopefully things will slow down a bit on my end so I can post more. Also, I hope the activity picks up on the site a bit. I know Keith and crew are working on new Subeta behind the scenes, but I almost feel like the old site is a bit neglected. New Subeta does look nice but it's not perfect and still have some kinks. I did appreciate the Dancing groups and Auto Dancing for Masq though. It definitely helped when I was sick and couldn't get on here for a significant chunk of time.

I still hate new Subeta. The blank white pages are ugly & I only use it for Wiz quests to get more tokens. Even those are annoying because he keeps giving out the same books & all of my pets have already read every one of them. He needs to find some different books. Did everybody get enough trinkets? I had enough from last year to get the few items I wanted the 1st day. Just needed the new books. Next holiday neugarten "sometime". Not my favorite but always like new wearables.

I'm not sure I like new subeta, myself. I don't really see what's wrong with the old site, but I guess I didn't really see the announcements. I guess my issue is they're trying to migrate everything onto the new site before it's even really properly ready or navigable.

I do like the additional wizard quests. I just fragmentize the things I don;t need.

That's my thought too. Build the new site then migrate things over once it's finished. The big reason for the new site, if I remember correctly, has to to do with the age of the servers being used and the OG site/build being almost 20 years old. The newer site runs faster and the mechanics/code on the backend are supposed to be more efficient.

I always frag cheap items I don't need except for food, which I stash in my vault for those events which use food. I'm just tired of getting the same books over & over. I wish they would just fix the original subeta, put it on the new servers & give up on the new site. Ugh. Wonder when neugarten will start. Guess we have a couple months until the pirate holiday in September. (With the useless pirate shop that I can never ever get any new stuff in.) Hmm, almost makes me wish they don't come out with anything this year that I want. How did everybody do on trinkets? Get enough?

Yeah, I think that would be better too. I stash food for Fireside. I've been slacking lately though. Hopefully Neugarten will start soon. :)

yea; i think it should be an option to migrate over totally, but i understand wanting to not provide brand new systems to the legacy site... hopping back and forth is a nightmare though-- the new sight does not work for me like. at all. so if i want any functionality i have to move back to the legacy site.

My husband is a computer programmer, and he and I have talked at length about Subeta and Neopets (new owner trying to spruce up the site and not realizing how intense and OLD the coding is). So yes, from a coding stand point I agree with you adding new stuff to an old system doesn't really work long term.

The back and forth is tiring. I just open a new tab when going onto New Subeta for additional quests and wardrobe. I think new players are automatically signed up for New Subeta. A friend from Neopets started an account here and I could only help her out so much because I prefer the navigation of Legacy Subeta.

Hey Sharkies! Snowballs, Winter Items, Quest Reset and Token Shop!

I couldn't find anything in the cash shop I want/need so that saved me some CSC. And I don't need the snowball achievement but if anyone else does please hit me with Icy Snowballs. :D

For anyone who still needs the snowball achievement here's a couple tips. Have two 1/2 size windows open side by side, buying in 1 & tossing in the other. Also remember that if you don't want to bother anyone else you can throw the snowballs at yourself. It still counts. Good luck. :D
