Suggestions/Ideas Rules and Useful Threads

The Suggestions & Ideas board is a place for users to post and discuss their suggestions/ideas on how to improve Subeta. Your minimods for this forum are , , and .

We love seeing your suggestions/ideas and truly appreciate you sharing them with us! Staff do regularly look through these threads but please be aware that it is not possible for us to reply to each and every thread, and not all suggestions/ideas submitted can or will be implemented. When staff answer a suggestion, it will be tagged with the answer feature to make understanding the reasoning behind the denial or if it as successfully implemented easier.

In an effort to make the suggestions/ideas boards easier for those who browse them and for staff to find useful information, the following rules have been implemented for this board:

BEFORE posting your suggestion/idea, please check that it has not already been posted about. There is also a Frequently Requested Suggestions that has a list of suggestions that are frequently brought up, as well as those that have continually been denied by staff. Topics that suggest the same thing as suggested in an earlier thread will be locked and you will be asked to continue the discussion in the previous thread. Please do not take this personally, it is just easier for all feedback around an idea to be in one thread.

When posting your suggestions and ideas, please be sure to title it clearly as this makes it easier for both staff and users alike. If it is a suggestion for items please put [Request Item ] if it is suggestions around an event [Event], suggestions for new features [Feature Request], for achievements please put [Achievement], for pet colors or pet species [New Color] or [Species Request]. Then put a quick detail about the request after that tag. Examples: [New Color] Gem Encrusted, [Event] Summer Plot Idea, [Feature Request] Reuse Lumi Trees .etc This will be changed once tagging is implemented for easier categorization.

Event suggestion boards are made annually by users so please try to use the current years board.

Please do NOT necro threads in Suggestions & Ideas and its subforums that have not been posted on for 15 months or more. Any threads revived after 15 months of inactivity will be locked. If there is already a suggestion or idea thread regarding something you are interested in and that thread hasn't been posted on for 15 months or more, you may create a new topic for it. This does not apply to stickied threads or those listed here as a useful one.

When replying to threads in the Suggestions & Ideas board, please remember to do so in a polite and constructive manner. Voicing your disagreement with someone's suggestion/idea is fine so long as you respond to the subject, NOT the person. Please keep in mind our Community Guidelines.

Constructive Feedback is for users to post their feedback on current features or rules on subeta. Occasionally staff will also make Feedback Request boards about features to further tweak subeta to be a more pleasant user experience.

PLEASE NOTE: All forum threads have a 1,000 post limit. When a thread has reached 1,000 posts, it will automatically be closed/locked and have the message, "This post is locked! This thread has reached over 1,000 posts! It's time to start a new one." If a thread has been automatically closed/locked due to reaching the 1,000 post limit, a new one may then be created.
