sorry , I just got back home. I'm tired all the time. Hubby has White Matter Disease (form of Dementia) so that keeps me hopping. Stress is what I get dealing with the VA.

- The swelling has gone down more. I still can't get my watch around my wrist but at least I can type again. I'm hoping this is the end of it for a while. I just need to figure out what it was I ate that triggered it. I tell you what, I understand why King Henry VIII was such a grumpy-butt. This stuff hurts! :D

The Pawn shop is dangerous! Although I missed an item from my WL that was gone in the blink of an eye. AKA the 4-5 minute wait between purchases. LOL

It was nice she told me something I could get her! And about 10 days ago I saw a segment on TV called CBS Steals and Deals with 12 pairs of Christmas socks for the 12 days of Christmas. They finally came today and she held the first pair of socks for about 2 hours. 🤣Guess I did good. She'll probably open the rest once I go upstairs. lol

I don't know about King Henry, but in the book I'm reading (The Dragon Waiting by John M. Ford) has a doctor treating one of the Medicis with crocus tincture for gout, and then he dies horribly (but it's poison, not actually gout, he's mistaken! excitement)

I love stringed instruments, especially the violin an cello. I knew the cello was versatile but I didn't know how versatile until I started playing it.

- King Henry VIII had gout really bad in one of his feet. That's the malady I'm referring to. The pain really is unlike anything I've experienced before but I do think it seems worse because it's in my hand and not a foot. :D

- OoOoO, a historical fiction? I didn't know you liked those. Is the book good, I mean, aside from the murder? I love historical fiction so I'm going to add it to my list. :D

- Howdy, stranger! I love the cello because of the warmth it embues into any song you play on it. I think it's because of the lower tones it creates but I'm not going to look to much into it. It's enough that I like it, I don't need to know why. :) How's your holiday going? :D
