I keep getting logged out and have to log back in all day half the time it tells me I'm using the old system and it's the new system (very frustrated)

2 days now going on 3. I wonder why only we have this problem? If I close firefox and open it i get this everytime You're logged in to Subeta using the old method, and we'd appreciate you switching to the new method. Check out the news post here for more details.

was having the same issue earlier, came to the News page to see I was logged out (site layout was on the default instead of the Shadowglen one I use) and kept getting told to log in when I tried to go somewhere specific. I kept trying to use the "new" login method, but it keeps logging me out AND giving me timeout errors whenever I try to go to the legacy site after. logging in on the legacy site has allowed me access to the site, but I'm still getting the "please log in on the new subeta" message at the top of the screen. :

same here. when the new system rolled out i logged out and then logged back in using the new login page. a couple days later i opened subeta to see i was logged out. when i tried to log back in, again using the new page, it took me to a blank page and the site continued to act as if i wasn't logged in. tried it a second time and it worked.

just now, another few days after that, i once again opened subeta to find myself logged out. i just logged in using the old login page but will attempt to do it the right way in a moment.

Same here. I haven't really had any trouble since logging into the new system until the last day or two, now I keep getting either fully logged out (right in the middle of quests or whatever, not during inactivity) or just the banner reappearing, telling me I'm somehow logged in the old way again despite not actively logging in/out at all (seems worse on my phone right now but I got logged out on desktop earlier too).

To add to the annoyance, the banner directs me to a news post that now has so many comments, it has trouble loading and I get a few error 504s before it finally loads. That banner should probably link directly to the new login page at this point.

Edit 8/19: I recently noticed the banner links to both the news post and the new login page and now I'm not sure if that's new or if it always did and the way it's designed/worded threw me off. I am still getting randomly logged out occasionally and I don't want to read the same error message over and over, I just instantly click on the hyperlinked word "here" at the end of all the blah blah blah expecting that to be the login page I need but it's not. Oof.

Co-sign. My signout frequency isn’t quite as bad, but enough to be truly annoying. Especially because the You’re Not Signed In message shows up with the old signin form, so I have to click News and navigate to auth subeta from there.

The sessions do seem shorter since we were forced over to the "securer" version of logging in. It's kind of tiresome? Half finished and barely functional.

I've been experiencing this a little -- but tonight, when trying to start a Blue Building quest, I was redirected to the old login page.

I haven't really gotten logged out, but it does yell at me constantly for using the old system, when I know very good and well I switched to the new login the very first day!

I'd say I'm glad to know it's not just me but... I'm not. lol TBH until I saw this thread I figured I shouldn't even bother reporting it since I've had such a negative experience trying to report issues before. Bleh.

I'm having a lesser version of this, getting logged out every other day and having to re-log in (Up to date Firefox), but I believe is having some issues too, which include the 'you're logged in on the old method' errors.

Confirming I will randomly open Subeta to have the banner back up saying I'm logged in under the old system and have to log out and back in (happens on Firefox mobile and on Firefox with Windows 7 on my laptop). I will also randomly come here (either method again) and see the default site theme and basically be told I'm not logged in (but also still have to click the log out button) and need to log back in again. This used to happen occasionally under the old system but has happened several times already under the new system for some reason.

Daily chrome mobile. I haven't check my other devices since they all required to be relogged

I had to log in twice in 10 minutes. Firefox, Windows 10.

I've also been getting the old system banner every now and then, when I haven't logged in or out. I'm on Chrome, for the record!

I'm not getting logged out but do keep getting the message I'm logged in under the old system and need to log in under the new in spite of the fact I've already done that every time I come on. It's frustrating.
