i'm using firefox, 104.0.1 but it was doing this on the prior update as well. i use subeta on my mid-2015 macbook pro running macOS high sierra (v 10.13.6). i haven't tried it on any other devices.

cookies are set to persist between browsing sessions and when i clear my history. i don't actually close firefox that often, and have been logged out upon revisiting the site within a single browsing session. i always check the box to remember me when logging in.

i doubt all of these extensions are relevant, but just in case, they are: clearURLs, decentraleyes, don't accept webP, facebook container, honey, https everywhere, open image in new tab, privacy badger, redirector, return youtube dislikes, tab auto refresh, tabsubmit basic, trackmenot, ublock origin, universal bypass, webp/avif image converter, and xkit rewritten for tumblr.

so basically a lot of stuff to prevent tracking, data profiling, etc. i guess that could be potentially interfering with the cookies to keep me logged in, but it doesn't do that with any other site so it shouldn't be. also, obviously not everyone this is happening to has those same extensions.

it first happened maybe a week after the introduction of the new login system. i switched over and was logged in for a bit, only to open subeta one day and see i was being asked to log in again. since then, it's been happening every few days. it just happened again this morning.

changing to "remember me" fixed it for me.

Getting this, too, now. Old system was stable (and only one working for me) until it logged me out for good end of August and I had to do the "retrieve password" thing. In the night it happened on my mobile, just now on the computer.

I don't have the banner issue, though - yet.

Starting to happen again on new system. Still using firefox ESSR, it is irritating to have to constantly sign back in to get on the site....no help?

This is happening to me. Just noticed today.

This is getting quite annoying. It often happens right in the middle of my actually using the site. I just typed up a whole post and clicked send to find I was logged out for no reason. Fortunately I'm on my laptop atm so didn't have to retype the whole thing.

I guess I can understand wanting to keep security up and log people out more frequently than before, but surely that could be timed to not happen within one minute of someone loading a new page onsite?

This happens most often when I'm on my laptop (Win11). Latest Chrome, remember me always checked, cookies persist.

Happening again, but somewhat intermittently.

I just got logged out in the middle of restocking in shops. Reloaded a page and was suddenly logged out. Is it set up to happen every two weeks on the dot?

Why is this still happening? :-( Today I was in the middle of battle quests. It suddenly changed to 1/30 with a blank sidebar, though. I was pretty confused, started the quest and only then got the "you must be logged in..., click here" In the meantime the food for my battle pet had worn out. I've also had it on mobile quite frequently, but fortunately that has my data stored, because it's even more of a nuisance to type etc. on mobile.
