This has been happening to me as well for about as long as the rest of everyone on here. I've changed my password like suggested. Let's see if that was the cause.

I've checked and I have a similar issue on my phone only, but if I recall right I've always had this issue on my phone. On my pc everything works fine and I don't get logged out. I use the newest version of mozilla firefox and windows 10, by the way.

I've only ever occasionally been logged out from my phone (Chrome, btw) and it's usually with the switching of holidays. But this is the ✨third✨ time today I've been logged out for no apparent reason. I've also consistently had the "you're logged in using the old way" banner when I ✨immediately ✨ logged in using the new way when the news post popped up .-.

Edit; just wanted to check the site again before I slept and I was logged out, yet again.

Changed password and I was still logged out. It wouldn't accept my password and I had to reset the password via my email. Hopefully now it'll be oky? The link in my email was for the NEW subeta.

[Edit] Can confirm changing password changes nothing. Still getting logged out.

It hasn't been happening to me as much, but every now and then it randomly logs me off, especially when I'm in the middle of doing quests.

that sucks I'm sorry. But changing your password sometimes as a safety measure is always a good idea. Well, one thing I learned in computer science :D

Nope, nothing relevant that would cause that. I rarely close my browser, bad habit left over from moderating a popular Discord. I had to be able to bounce between my phone and my laptop at a second's notice.

What extensions do you have enabled? Nothing relevant to Subeta - xKit and Tumblr Savior from years back.

What devices is this happening on? My two and a half year old Windows 11 HP laptop, up to date OS.

The ONLY change has been that my family recently (re: July 15th) got Comcast internet but that's FIVE DAYS before I started having the issue. I don't log into Subeta on mobile because that seems like a nightmare unto itself.

When did this start happening? When did the new authentication protocols go online? (Oh, found it. July 20th.) Within two days of that. I know Subeta has sessions for users but the sessions seem shorter and I get booted out more frequently.

The browser and security settings are the same on both devices as they're synced through my Google account in both places.

When did this start happening? It very rarely happened prior to the new login method. Since that was implemented it has happened multiple times a week and occurs randomly beginning within about 48 hours of logging in with the new method the first time on mobile and PC. It was, for several weeks, randomly putting back the message saying I was logged in via an outdated method needed to log in through the new method as well though I haven't seen that for a bit.

• Even if it would occur on other devices, the main difference would be an ad block. Since I use my Google account across all devices, my settings follow me. When did this start happening?
• I occasionally get logged out. I assumed it was from holidays or just random activity checks since I never actually leave the site. I just close chrome when I'm done it with it. And open it back up when I wanna join back. My login in stuff is remembered so it doesn't take long, if I am signed out. But the frequency of which I was logged out has dramatically increased this last week or so. So much so that I'm basically constantly logged out now.

I was experiencing the same problem until I checked “remember me” on the new login page. No more getting logged out

What extensions do you have enabled? on firefox: ublock origin, xkit rewritten, shinigami eyes, palettes for tumblr, and enhancer for youtube. on samsung internet, i have ABP for samsung internet installed as a separate app.

What are the differences in browser or security settings for these devices? it's happening across both of them, but at different frequencies. on firefox, i'd say once a week or so. i usually see a "you're signed into subeta using the old method" warning for a day before i'm signed out, which goes away after i'm logged out and i sign back in. i've tried to follow the instructions in the news post/notice, but it still shows up. i don't remember specifically Not choosing the "remember me" option when i signed back in, but i'll be sure to keep my eye out for it next time. memory issues LOL, it's a possibility.

on my phone, it happens a lot more frequently, once every other day or so. i don't believe i had "remember me" checked when i signed in since it usually is, but when i logged back in this most recent time, i noticed it wasn't. i selected it and have been kept signed in so far. i remember seeing the warning message a couple of times before being signed out, but not always. i noticed when i closed all subeta tabs or restarted my phone is when most of the sign outs happened.

When did this start happening? definitely after the start of the new system. i'd say after a week or two for both of them, with the issues of being signed out more frequently on my phone happening more often in the last couple of weeks.

6. When did this start happening? since the change to the new system, in fact it happens more frequently than before. before it happens at least once every week, now at once every two or three days, is kinda bothersome to be honest.
