I've been playing and I'm at AR28. I think it's pretty cool and fun! Just has a lot of restrictions and I'm not sure at the paid currency worth buying but I still love the game nonetheless! The music is so phenomenal!

I'm playing also! I'm super in love with the game, ngl. I've spent a bit of money, but only because I think giving us a free game this amazing is worthy of some support, haha. The music truly is spectacular. I'm currently at AR30, but I think my game is bugged because I don't have any story quests available to me...

This is a game that swept over the entire world indeed 👀 I'm considering playing, but I'm not sure about how much the restrictions will damper the fun

My husband and I have been swept up by the game. I think I play a little more obsessively than he does, but we play on a daily basis. I'm currently AR37 and desperately scrounging Liyue for chests to try and pull Klee (husband pulled her TWICE -- the 2nd one literally 15 pulls after the 1st).

We both play on the PC, but I won't lie, I downloaded it on our PS4 and made a second account, lol. However, I've barely touched it (just walked into Mondstadt) because I can't get used to the controller! It feels very, very awkward and not at all intuitive as to how the buttons are laid out. We bought the Welkin Moon daily bonus, and we're both probably going to buy the Battle Pass upgrade. We did also buy some of the Crystal Top Off, but it has been used to solely convert into Primogems (since it's a 1:1 conversion rate and we've no intention of actually spending the Crystals on anything).

I agree that the music is phenomenal and I rather enjoy the gameplay! I do think they could change some things for better QOL, and I think there are some things from other games they could adopt to keep their hook on F2P gamers.

I think Seize the Day should be a static log-in prize, not an event that runs off and on. They could leave it at a week's length before prizes roll over, they could do a 10-day model (Dragalia Lost uses this), or a monthly model (Brave Exvius did this, with a 28(?) day model and then any days in the month beyond 28 days had static prizes as well -- but this way even in the shortest month there was a chance to get to the best prize, and in longer months you could miss a day or two and not lose out on the best prizes).

Better Co-op, please! Co-op is incredibly limited at the time, and I understand some of the limitations. At the very least, please make it so that I can interact with NPCs in another person's world, or even let me interact with my own NPCs when hosting a world. Why can't I change my Traveler's element when someone's in my world? Silly things like this, at the very least, would go a long way for Co-op QOL.

This response is coming quite late, so I'm not sure if you're still playing, or if you've figured it out, but: yes, the story quests are currently done until the 1.1 patch (which I believe is coming Nov. 3rd or so?) iirc. If you are still playing, I'm sure you've noticed the little extra quests you can do by unlocking them via keys you earn after doing 8 commissions (and attaining specific AR ranks).

Just got to AR41, not gonna lie, I'm pretty addicted. x) Though I wish I had another DPS character since I'm only rocking one and he can't beat some of the bosses so easily.

Been playing this with my SO and his brothers. We definitely enjoy it. Just hit AR43 today but wish there was more to do. Glad they're working in more events and whatnot. I also really enjoy the story line.

Looking forward to seeing the new characters coming the next month or so.

Hit AR45 on Saturday. Still just as addicted as I was in the beginning. I'm enjoying the event, even if it has kind of side tracked me from my Boss/Domain rotation for materials, lol. The grind is real.

I've hit AR41 a few days ago, and I've been spending most of my resin on the event these past two weeks. Though now I'm a bit afraid that I won't be able to keep up when the world level rises again. I've always more or less had enough ascension materials to level up my characters as soon as I reached a new world level. Plus I'm lagging behind on weapon upgrade materials as well O.o But I do want that free Fischl, though I haven't discovered how to actually claim her. I haven't been able to find a button anywhere, or the exact requirements.

I wish I could somehow slow the AR leveling down so that I have time to gain more materials on the current world level. But then again, with a higher world level, certain materials will be easier to get. Hmm...

Just gonna touch on a couple of things, 'cause I'm headed to work.

1. Even if you hit AR45, as long as you don't do the Ascension dungeon, you'll stay at WL5 until you're ready (and still gain AR exp, so don't worry about gimping yourself).
2. When you're on the event screen, there should be a picture of Fischl's head in the bottom right corner. Click that to see what the requirements are/claim her. :)

Ahh! Thank you very much! I didn't know her character portrait was a thing you could click on! Turns out I needed only one more fallen star challenge! Yeah, I thought of not doing the Ascension quest, but somehow I wonder if that is a good thing to do. If I spend 2 ARs on a lower world level in order to catch up with upgrades, I wonder whether I'll have an even bigger lack of the stronger materials when I finally do decide to do the Ascension quest and get close to another world level increase at lvl 50. At least I assume there will be another one at lvl 50.

I waited 2 days to do my Ascension quest when I hit AR45. I really think it just depends on how you manage your resources. Truthfully, I didn't find the jump from WL5 to WL6 to be that crazy. It went a lot smoother than I thought it would (I had purposefully waited until AFTER I did Wolf of the North, Stormterror, and Childe just in case the jump was insane -- I'm already a stressed retail worker during a pandemic holiday season, I didn't want to make my relaxation time something that also brought me stress). As for how it will affect you material wise... that really is just down to RNG. Tbh, a lot of the time I run one WL lower than what I actually am, because I play with my husband and he's just a bit behind me. I have a Lvl 80 Venti, Xianling, and Kaeya. Fischl is 78. Traveler is 70. Ningguang, Bennet, Tartaglia, and Barbara are all 60. Keqing is 50. Razor, Lisa, Amber, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Beidou and Noelle are all chilling at 20. Given I'm constantly one WL behind, and I can't make myself only focus on one team (I gotta level everyone -- I just gotta!), I don't think I'm doing too bad. :)

I can immagine! Stress in games is awefull! Oooh, that's a lot of leveled up characters! I've been focussing on four of them so far: Traveler, Xiangling, Barbara and Fischl (all four somewhere between lvl 72 and 78 at the moment). But now I got to floor 5 of the Spiral Abyss, and it requires two teams of characters. My other characters are lvl 20 or below, so I haven't really tried to beat floor 5. Having multiple characters at a higher level sounds fun though, then you can swap em out more easily. I'm really missing a claymore user in my main party and I always need to swap one out for Noelle when I find stuff to mine. But as soon as enemies get close, I need to swap back to my main party again.

Ahhh yes, this game is killing me lmao. I'm playing since launch and I'm still enjoying it like crazy. There's just so much to do, I love the lore and how in-depth character development is. Also really enjoying the current event and can't wait until they do more like this in the future! I'm currently at AR 46, very close to 47, and stuck in the grinding hell of domains. I'm currently focusing on my Keqing so I can perfect her equipment and level up her talents and weapon. She was my first 5* and is practically carrying me through the whole game right now. I'd love to unbench some of my husbandos tho, but I'm missing their equipment and quite a lot of books... /sigh

It may have honestly been Spiral Abyss that really tipped me in to leveling more of them, but I was already working on it to a degreee before hand. I haven't advanced to Floor 7 yet, and honestly I'll probably continue to wait for a bit. xD

Keqing was also my first 5*! :D Problem is, I pulled her waaaaay after Fischl who was a C3 and super heavily invested in. So now I'm leveling her in the background, but I do super want to get her up there with the rest of my team.

I'm trying really hard to prep for Zhongli (watch; I'll do all this work and I won't pull him). Grinding domains to try and have books & artifacts ready for him. Running my Cor Lapis route every 3 days. I already have a Cresent Pike that Xianling uses, so I might just bounce it between the two of them, but my brain keeps telling me it'd be easier (if RNGesus decided to bless me) to just make another one. >.> <.<

I also had Fischl first, but I kinda didn't like how she felt with the bow. It wasn't as fluid as playing with Keqing, so I pretty much ditched her right after I pulled Keqing even if Fischl is also a very good unit! Just pray super hard and then he'll come home haha. xD I wish you the best of luck! I'm also hoping to pull him since I really wanna use him in a team with Childe (I half-finished him yesterday, I just need to swap equipment if I find anything better, but so far he's doing his job as my water dps) ;w; And no harm in crafting another spear btw! Better save than sorry in the end if you wanna use both of them.

Oh man, I've been thinking about which characters to level up for my second team. I tried to pull the ice dude which is on the banner now, but failed. I did pull a second Mona. Which I'm not too happy about, Mona's playstyle is not my thing. But I guess maybe I should try to build a team around her? I looked up some strategies, and she seems to do insane damage when paired with Sucrose, which I did manage to pull somehow. And maybe add Diona to the mix, since that's my only Ice character beside Kaeya. So I was thinking, I probably need another healer in that team. Noel would probably be my best option since I really want to have a greatsword user so I can finally bash some shields properly , but since I have no leveled up greatsword users I have huuuuuge problems beating the geo hypostasis. So I can't get ascension materials for Noel. So uuhhh, I probably have to pick some other element greatsword user and level them up first. I got Razor, Beidou and Xinyan to choose from. I really like Razor's playstyle, but I'm wondering whether I should try Xinyan instead, since she's fire elemental which would fit better in my main party if I need a greatsword user there.

I wish we could somehow test out different team compositions without having to level everyone up.
