I enjoyed the event in the new zone very much! So refreshing to find chests everywhere! Though I got the tree upgraded about half the way, and I don't see any more of those collectibles to level it up. Makes me wonder whether I missed some huge cave or something. I'm suspecting some might be real high up and you'll need to glide down from the top of the mountain or something, but I'm pretty sure I'm needing at least 30 of those thingies, and they can't all be floating, right?

I'm approaching AR50, and most guides seem to suggest not to level your characters/weapons to lvl 90 because it uses huuuge amounts of materials. But I wonder whether staying at lvl 80 will just make my life miserable? I wish there was a way to lower your world level to the ones you've unlocked before :/

Have you been using the interactive map apps (note: link may be considered spoilers perhaps) -- https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/#/ They show you locations of the crimson agates you can find, but I haven't been using it/exploring Dragonspine much to know if it covers every single one.

And no problem!! Ooh yeah, unless you've capped out your characters, are running spiral abyss, or everything is too easy to kill, wl7 definitely isn't necessary. Though, I think made it sound a lot worse than it was - it just took some getting used to (read: actually learning how to make use of my team comp) and I rarely have to use foods again - but I still wouldn't advise until you start +16/+20ing your artifacts because the benefits are marginal if there are any :)

Oooh, that's a good idea. I've used it before to find some resources, but I haven't gotten around to trying the crimson agates. I've hit AR50 and I was surprised to see that I could ascend my characters and weapons without doing the quest to increase the world level! Wow, that makes things much more relaxed! I finally have time to level some other characters now! Maybe some day I'll have a second party for the spiral abyss xD

Edit: Oh, I just discovered that if you become a certain level for the tree, quests get unlocked that have a crimson agate as a reward. That explains why I'm still needing tons of them to completely level the tree, but can't find any, you're probably supposed to level using those quests. Unfortunately I'm still missing some before I can unlock the quests. Artifacts are still a bit of a problem. I feel like upgrading 4* artifacts is a waste now that I can get 5* artifacts, but the highest level domains are still a no-go for me. The second highest level does grant 5* artifacts, but only very rarely, and when I do get one, it has crappy stats not worth leveling :/ This is going to take a while...

I love Genshin! It's actually overtaken League as my most played game nowadays. My main team is Klee/Sucrose/Jean/Fischl but Sucrose is my baby and I love her. I really wanted to roll for Ganyu, because I think she's gorgeous, but I'm not super in love with her playstyle and I'm waiting for another banner where we have new 4-stars. I've got like 160 rolls saved up so far; I hope there's a new 4-star who comes alon with the Xiao banner because I think he's so handsome and I love anemo as an element.

I think for the domains, its always worth doing the hardest ones possible, even if you have to co op for them ^^; You just get better rewards for the same resin :)

Ahhhh hopefully you get what you're after in the Xiao banner! I've been playing w my Sucrose more, and shes so much fun to play, esp when shes buffing Oz/Fischl to do wack damage XD

Sucrose doesn't get nearly enough love ugh. Everyone just considers her a budget Venti and like, okay, you're mostly right - but Sucrose is way cuter and way more fun. Venti is almost such an ez win button that it's no fun. My Fischl is C6 too so the two of them together do NUTS damage.

Ahahah omg YAS the buffing Sucrose can give C6 Fischl is hilarious, esp if you have Sucrose doing her fast autos while Oz is on the field.. 8DDD

congrats on AR50! that explains the numerous tree symbols i was seeing in other worlds... it's great we don't have to chase down every single one and re-check if we have it. i haven't gotten to that part either so i need to get a move on it xD

i second in that co-op is highly advantageous and worth doing since the higher levels guarantee at least one 5*! so even if you die, just stick around until your teammates kill the mobs -- you'll get the reward.

also!! if you don't have any artifacts, 4* is actually a good place to start anyway if you intend to solo the domains yourself -- they're much less expensive to upgrade, and although you lose some exp if you feed it into a 5* down the line, you'll save on mora costs. so if you feed a +16 4* into a +0 5* you'll only be spending 4k(?? or so) mora opposed to leveling a 5* from scratch. or at least i think that's a good tradeoff anyway.

oh man i love sucrose, and she sounds cute in alll the languages! i swear going into co-op with sucrose or bennett is like having to come to terms that you're the unacknowledged stealth MVP...i have seen the DPS compliment each other when really the supports are why these mobs are going down so quickly

Yeah, even if you don't feel like your DPS are geared enough to do co op, you can always just bring Barbara or another healer (Bennett!) and help out the team just as much :) It's a pity you're on EU or else I'd drag you into a few >XD

Offtopic, but aaaah I'm so glad I finally cleared the damn spiral abyss XD I got pretty close in its last incarnation but I got stuck on floor 12-3. But now it's easier so yaaay (or maybe I have better artifacts HAHA)

Thank you! It's so nice being AR50, I feel like I finally have a chance to catch my breath and start leveling some other characters besides my main team.

I got lucky and got a couple of 5* artifacts with some decent stats. They're not perfect, but with so much RNG being involved it would be stupid to wait for perfect artifacts before leveling anything. I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere.

I recently managed to pull all the remaining 4* characters that I was missing, so I have a bit more choice for my second team now. I've decided on Razor, Mona and Diona. Razor because I really really need a greatsword user to break shields and mine more easily, Mona because she's the only 5* that I have, and Diona because she can heal and it's nice to have an archer to snipe those pesky hillichurls on towers. That still leaves one spot. Sucrose would probably fit, but I now pulled Bennet and fire can be really helpfull, although it's a bit annoying for Razor to run after enemies that are sent flying after the overloaded reaction. I was also thinking of Ningguang, because I don't have any geo characters leveled yet (besides the traveler). Maybe it would be nice to try out the shields and stuff. But I guess she doesn't really fit into the team.

I love Genshin Impact! I don't play it as much as I'd like to but I enjoy it a lot. Currently my main team is Klee/Mona/Venti and now Ganyu who replaced Fischl. Wanted to save for Xiao and/or Ayaka but after testing her out I loved how hard she hits and she goes really well with the 5 stars I do have. Will still try for Xiao and hope I get him in that 50/50 chance since I should have enough primogems saved by the time he comes out and if I'm not lucky I'll go for Ayaka. I have too many characters that I want to use and it's kind of halted my progress since I'm still at AR45. Just having a lot of bad luck with artifacts ;_;

Yeah, I do really love Razor and Diona together because of the easy superconduct procs to make Razor's damage big and woah. Sucrose is a good support because she can pull enemies closer to you, so I'd probably go with her unless you need more healing, then maybe Bennett! Diona can solo heal though, so you should probably be fine with just her.

Ningguang is a good dps, but you already have one in Razor, so I'm not sure shes a good fit for that team, as you already seem to have decided XD

Yaaayyy Ganyu team unite! XD It's fun to see her giant numbers, esp in abyss f11 w the cryo buff lol. The artifact grind is real. I totally just stole Kaeyas set to give to Ganyu lol >XD And Fischl's bow. >__>;

Another Ganyu player! I did the same thing... poor Fischl. Still love using her but I feel like Ganyu offers me both more support and DPS. I sadly still haven't dived deep into abyss. I kind of got stuck and didn't spread my resources out enough to get me very far but I'll try give it a go again soon. Seems to be the best place to get more primogems which will be needed |:

Man, rumors are that there aren't going to be any new 4-stars on the Xiao and Hu Tao banners coming up and I'm sad about it. We've gotten way fewer 4-stars than 5-stars since release and I feel like that should be reversed or the game is just going to be oversaturated with the 5s. I've been saving my primos for a banner with new 4s, since I already have all of them but Chongyun, Diona, and Beidou but it means I'm missing out on characters I really love like Albedo and Ganyu.

I'm at like 150 rolls banked because I've been waiting for the right banner and I refuse to spend real money on primos since the rate is so bad. Please Mihoyo I beg you. Release more 4s. Pls.

yeah, it doesnt seem like theres many 4 stars on the horizon atm :( pretty sad. i guess it is pretty expensive to make character models and such, so it makes sense that theyre focusing on what will make people pull more.... but it kind of blows cos it feels like in a few more banners, there will be more characters unavailable than there are characters available. LOL. we already have more banner 5 stars than non banner 5 stars, i think (venti, klee, childe, zhongli, albedo, ganyu v. diluc, mona, qiqi, keqing, jean)

we'll see how it goes i guess. i am happy they added more f2p weapons in the latest update, i do hope that trend continues. it may be that they prefer to focus on a few things each update (like 1.1 added more 4 star characters, and 1.2 added an area/weapons)

congrats on getting all the 4s!! diona is way too adorable ;_; and i'm absolutely confident that you can create an abyss team with just the 4s alone + your mona.

sucrose would be a great fit for your second team! i love bennett but his buff is only good if you manage to keep your enemies within the AoE, so it might be even more of a pain w/ razor. i use him with klee and sometimes i find her having to walk a bit out of range. i think sucrose would have more utility.

my team comp is the same as yours (pre-ganyu)! i swear it works out so well. though, reading this + seeing her high damage practically everywhere is tempting me but i know i can't if i want a chance at xiao ;_; good luck with your artifacts! if we keep doing em we'll roll something good eventually...right......

it really is kind of shocking how quickly everyone was able to collect the 4s and even multiples of them! i really hope they make it so if you max out a certain character you'll start getting the other 4s you dont have instead, or the other weapons... getting like 5(??) stardust on a dupe is kind of underwhelming ): or pls more 4*s!

Ah yes! Hoping for Xiao myself and Ayaka but I might see what people think of her before pulling depending on how I go. Have also really wanted to get Ningguang constellations. I didn't pull on the Childe banner since I was close to pity and didn't want to risk getting him.

I'll keep that in mind! Abyss scares me. Since I'm from Aus so I play on the Asia server and I still get a minimum of 150 ping and dodging is tough.

It's nice to see someone was using that team too! I still switch back to it often because of how well it works. I am glad I got Ganyu because if you use her Q with Venti's Q and Mona's Q it just feels incredibly OP but I will be sad if I don't manage to get Xiao. Besides Klee he was the character I've wanted most but I got too tempted. I just kept hearing how good she was with all the characters I used so couldn't hold off and thank you! I hope you've been having better luck with artifacts! ;_;

Q___Q just seeing this described makes me want to try it just once...the more i see her disco ball the more i am tempted. it's too bad we can't try the trial characters out with anyone else.

god yeah, it feels REAL bad to get a dupe 4 star if you already have c6 /: its going to get troublesome in the future where pulling on banners will just feel like dodging mines. one of my friends is a huge ganyu simp (and pretty whaley lol) and pulled for c2.. but even before the banner he had c6 on every single banner 4 star. so can you just imagine how bad that must have felt LOL

ganyu really is excellent w venti though, its incredible how much damage her Q can do to a group of mobs and venti is the bessst at grouping. i think i should save my primos for a venti rerun instead of xiao lol.
