General themes for vesnali are: -Everything you would associate with easter (except explicitly christian elements): Bunnies, eggs, baby animals, flowers -gardening -The tempest, the storm pet color and other thunderstorm related things. -It is also the third anniversary of NPC Esther and NPC Emma's wedding. The 3rd year is the Leather/Crystal/Glass anniversary according to wikipedia

Some of my suggestions -I am just a sucker for flower crowns but we have plenty basic ones already so here's some ethnic ones ---UkrainianxXxX ---Hawaiian xXxX ---These abstract ones xXxX -I'd love recolors of the set from a few years back, especially the bobbin -Some arm pose were the arms bend at the elbow like this so it actually looks like you are holding instead of it floating at navel hight. It would be tough to wear with full length sleeves but if it blends with the base at the same height as [item=Single Sheer Glove (Base 6)] it could still be worn with short sleeved shirts. It would be amazing if that pose is already holding a smaller bouquet (the cascading bouquet would probably be big enough to layer over it). -For the leather anniversary xXxXxX -Apparently there is a flower called the leatherflower xX -for the crystal/glass anniversary xXxX

Dirty feet. <- This only does knees and hands. Squishing your bare toes in the mud is wonderful...provided there no rocks..or a present left by a passing critter. So yes, I'd like mud/dirt on my feet and just my feet since there's plenty of items putting it everywhere but.

Could use a pruning saw and loppers (like the little hand clippers we have, just bigger for branches instead of stems). Pole saw/chainsaw might be nice too...and a weed-wacker..battery operated since cords are annoying and gas reeks. Do we have a garden cart yet?

Gloves. The floral print cloth is pretty, not practical. Roses and citrus would shred them in seconds. They're good for small, not woody/thorny things, like flowers an herbs. Let's see some real work gloves please...in more than one color...like a pretty light (not mint) green. And maybe some rose pruning gloves. Unlike the basic leather work gloves, they go up to the elbow. My arms will no longer be shredded by all the thorns since sleeves on shirts do nothing.

Pots. Good old terracotta, ceramic(all the pretty colors), and wood barrels. Hate those ones that look like ceramic, but they're plastic. Hanging baskets might be nice...Raised beds would make nice foregrounds..maybe a veggie one, an herb one, and one for ornamental flowers? Vertical planters and trellises could be useful too..do we have mulch or compost yet? Don't think we do, but not sure..and we could also expand on the window boxes with herbs, succulents, and small veggies/leafy greens.

I love all the pretty stuff too. Seconding everything in the earlier posts. Especially the giant leather flower bags and the pastel faux leather jacket with the floral embroidery ❤ And mini flower decor for everything please! The zoe clips (many years ago) were nice, but we need more and not just daisies.

You know what we need? Outdoor ground items that line up with the sliding scrap items well enough to be layered under them. At the moment I've only been able to use the indoor floor items because the outdoor ground items either don't cover up enough of the area the sliding scraps leave, of there are parts of the ground items that require them to be layers over the sliding scraps to work, which can end up covering too much of the background.

Something like the would work, but without the gap in between. I mean, last year we had those boxes and the flowers that work well with the sliding scraps, so it would be nice to have some garden-y ground items to go with them as well.

Just found something interesting on the internet that could be fun -For the leather anniversary thing, I found out they make leather like material from fruit fibers Here's some info about it.Unless you get real close you likely won't know the difference so it would probably be a nice tidbit to mention in a leather looking item's description that it was made from fruit leather instead of animal leather. It seems in like with NPC Esther and NPC Emma's nature loving personalities and it is also entirely vegan (it matters little if it is virtual of course 😜but it is the thought that counts) -do not confuse the above with the other meaning of fruit leather, It is also a name for homemade fruit rollups.

Would also love to see these types of items, garlands and cutouts with flowers/spring themes.

I'm all about more stuff for the Siding Scraps and Color Swatches like bushes, climbing vines/roses, more ground covers, lawn decorations, house foundations like brick or cobbles, vegetable garden, window curtains and floral garlands or wreaths.

Also, more animals that sit or cling to the shoulders would be great, as that placement not only looks cute for human avatars but also works great as stand alones with the window boxes.

Pretty rocks, crystals, gemstones. Call the gemstones lab created if you want to distinguish them from the CSC stuff. If they're wearable I'd prefer them not to just be regular jewelry since the base is small a lot of the jewelry we have is much smaller and it ends up just dots.

I want boho stuff in pastels and desaturated color palettes.

I second bikes!! And more mushrooms!!!! This is a spring thing for me anyway, my family would always go morel foraging because they thrive under the wet leaf litter. the fairy houses and mushroom cookie last year were great, A+ more please mushrooms are cute n' gross, just like me :3c

Terrariums?? We had some back in 2012 but I haven't seen much terrarium content since then besides the CSC wearables. don't get me wrong, these are adorable, but this was like 8 years ago and I have such visions for what could be.

CICADAS. cicada wings. wearable cicadas. cicada minion with a flower crown on her lil head. Other bugs that don't get as much love, maybe?? caterpillars, butterflies, dragonflies and so forth-- we've gotten these, and they are almost universally cute and lovable, but people FIGHT me about loving cicadas. go ahead, fight me. also, silverfish (i fucking love silverfish they are SO CUTE). jumping spiders, tiny babies! Also, for some reason, moths??? Like, everyone loves butterflies but nobody wants moths except me. I want every moth. MORE MOTHS, PLEASE, esp wearables, the antennae were lovely! We had some truly fantastic bug-themed content for Vesnali 2016, I'd love to see an expansion on some of those ideas. (some of those gross bugs are amazing omg. say "Dung Beetle Beanbag" five times fast.)

Look to Ghibli films for some insp???? I'm thinking Mononoke, Nausicaa, and Totoro of course; giant fungi/bugs, benevolent AND violent forest spirits, huge ones, small ones, KODAMA!!! omg blease sobs looking to some of the darker environmental icons in Ghibli stuff could pair well with my favorite idea...

more gemstones. the geodes were nice, but also very lorge. maybe some different types of crystal wearables, smaller pieces, trinkets and collectibles. angel aura crystals with just a small flash of animation. amethyst, rose quartz, selenite, moonstone, opals, these all would go lovely with the pastel spring themes. we all love shiny little pixel curiosities!

More crows and magpies in addition to just songbirds!! rats and mice as well! And what about bats? Bats are pollinators, too!

more things in jars and glasses, always!! hehe what about little plant cuttings in cups of water!! supposedly you can even grow an avocado seed in a cup of water in your kitchen.

;-; Spring-themed versions of crowns like (with daisies!!) or shoes similar to and its recolors but with art that's more current? I know that we've already had flower crowns for Vesnali in previous years and we've likely had floral shoes, too, but I love daisies so much and would really like to see more of them done in more current art styles, because a lot of the daisy-themed wears are a bit outdated.

Everything in the first post is really good, and I would love to see any of that in there. That pink leather jacket wow 👌

Some things I would love to see off the top of my head --

• More pastel clothes maybe? It feels like it's been a hot minute since we've gotten some pastel tops or dresses for Vesnali. Pastel Pink especially aaa~ ❤
• Denim jeans or shorts with embroidered flowers would be super cute!
• Kimono tops with floral patterns
• Blouses with Bell sleeves, or the kind of sleeves that are poofy but cinched at the wrist. Bishop sleeves I think they're called?
• Wigs! My mind immediately goes to loose and kind of messy curls when thinking of spring and hairstyles, but I'd also love some more options for natural hair when making black HAs! Of course, If just wigs on their own don't fit the theme enough, we could always stick some flowers in there, lol?
• Speaking of, I'd love big flowers to put on either side of the HAs head! Like those bows we had last year? but with different kinds of flowers!
• With the new whiteout items, there could be some really fun leg or arm pose items? Shielding your eyes from the sun, waving hello/goodbye, skipping, just cute poses in general.

That's all I got for now ... as you can tell I'm a very dress-up motivated player so I don't have any ideas for food or plushies or things haha :(

I second Metaphor's shoulder perching songbird suggestion, I love it! Maybe birds that are each different base colors? Examples: hummingbird (lots of greens), bluebird (blue), goldfinch(yellow), cardinal(red), oriole(orange), painted bunting(multicolored), mourning dove(light brown), pine grosbeak (pink), purple martin(purple) etc?

Some recolors of this adorable bird from a few years ago could also be cute, maybe in other pastel colors like pink, purple, green, yellow, etc?

A more rain-day theme going along with our lovely Tempest would make me very happy. We have not heard from Tempest in a while, and I think that is sad. It's a great opportunity for some fun spring-rain-themed items!

I also second the idea that we need more Terrariums and if they could be wearable it would be cool.

I also second the idea of having more of that cute vesnali bird in more colors, especially standard muted colors like soft yellow, mint, light blue, white -- spring flower colors.

It would also be very nice if we had a continuation of the gnome/fairy garden idea that we had last time. It would be so fun if we had a full gnome/fairy garden background and more variety in other foreground pieces this year to add to our collections.

As far as "new" ideas go, I think it would be great to have more filters, bubbles, bokeh, light sources, and other things that we can use to alter the overall effect.

My last idea for now would be to have some fun NON-ANIMAL body mods would be cute. We got bunny bottoms and face and head parts of animals last year in multiple places for different holidays. I appreciate this addition of animal body-mods immensely, and think it would be fun to continue the tradition of body mods in more human forms.
