As a reminder, these are the themes the masquerade usually deals with -Steampunk -Rave culture -Cyber punk (think Blade runner/Ghost in the shell/Shadowrun) -The Rift -Fancy drinks and bitesize foods

I'd like to request a reappearance of the NPC Gossips even if there's no associated site event, as their invitations/letters are getting rare again.

I would like to see calling cards (elaborate and not) and funeral cookies (they were totally a thing).

I added this to the New Year's suggestions, but it occurs to me that Roarin' 20s might be a fun new theme for this year's masq!

Plot idea: a very raucous party with a few too many mysteriously juiced up amps opens a chasm in the Rift directly under Ziara City, and partygoers fall through into another time and place - with items from the 1920s, 1820s, and beyond.

I'm just going to paste what I suggested last year, because I still want it:

I always get sick of dancing towards the end of Masquerade, so there's some wears I'd like to express that:

• Some hand held shoes and/or some shoes in a pile on the ground that look like they've been kicked off.

• Masks that are held in the hand by a broken strap

-Masks that are pushed up on the head like , maybe a bit askew

I like 's ideas.

I'd love to see anything of the following but then again I've always loved this holiday so whatever we get is always amazing... Now then:

-More intricate headpieces, featuring gears, feathers, glow sticks, maybe even some hologram concepts -New arm poses, hold drinks, shoes, food, masks, etc. -More cloaks, all the cloaks! -More holodgrams! -Ponytails with glow stick headbands or scrunchies/elastics -Flowing skirts that show off a little leg, be it left or right, trailing material on the floor a little.

, but they fit on the feet properly.

Some old ideas I still desire More + more of the skeleton ? Skulls with glowing eye sockets, arms with glowing hands, legs with glowing feet Desserts with alcohol in them, based off of drinks maybe (I can give ideas I had for actual desserts I was coming up with) More basic shots, it's not fancy but eh. Bonbons, maybe alcohol filled ones Stuffed buns ! Buns and rolls stuffed with various fillings. SKULLS PLEASE ? ALSO MORE COLORS ?!?! I need a pink-pink, a gray, and a white. Just, give me a rainbow of jelly skeletons.

New idea suggestions Some pants to go with this and the vests ? Hats too ? I love the art nouveau look, and would love either vinyls or music sheets; but I would love more masculine leaning wigs, and maybe different genres to broaden styles ? Side note, an afro would maybe look rad. New years shop had some roaring 20's dresses and jackets, maybe we can get some more ? Jacket 2 and plaid vests yuuus Mens clothing can be pretty stagnant because we suck, but vests are always loved and in fashion.

How about rib-cage corsets? And rave skull face masks?

More ballroom backgrounds PLEASE we only have one (iirc) and it's quite busy so... yeah, more would be very welcomed

For stuffed buns we could have different kinds of dim sum. We have full sized bao, so maybe some minis?

Backdrop "at the punch bowl" "bribing with tokens asking the (mechanical) bandleader for a song" "walflower-skulking by the kitchen doors"

As much as I love the wearables that come from this event my favorite items throughout all the years has been the the books.

and I would love to see more with a similar theme or even new unique themes that fit into the Masq themes.

Some more ideas from me So I stumbeled into a subreddit that could inspire foods for the lounge for years to come. I present you r/WeWantPlates, the subreddit for food that is served so unique/fancy that it becomes inconvinient to eat. Some specific examples that would fit in the lounge Ravioli on a clothesline, Food on a ipad, A meringue served on a magnetically levitated pillow.

I would love to see more robotics(steamwork fashion or modern). Like a wearable robotic arm holding a glass or food or even a mask(I mean after holding a mask for a while can be very tired)

I LOVE 's idea of Inconveniently "plated" food and drinks like I would want SO MUCH of that just for the fun of it

Since we've got such neat tech/kinda grungy stuff the past few Masquerades here's some thoughts:

• car/ship batteries & jumper cables
• More cables in general (think matrix? why don't we have these already q__q)
• fancy tech collars (glowy, locking, etc)
• MUSIC PLAYERS?? (the s-pods are uh, options... but slick futuristic ones would be rad)
• Earpods (in general, but one's like animal ears would also be fun and creative)
• Hover boards (slick advanced ones, clunky steampunk ones, etc)
• More neon/holo signs? (don't tell me the future wouldn't just have projected signs, don't please)

Has anyone suggested CDs of certain types of music you would listen to in a cyberpunk setting? Like different types of electornic music? These could either be readable, or they could be wearables like those record items from one of the previous years? Or maybe not even CDs but some other kind of storage device with the music on?

I would love to see Adriette in her true raver form. Please.

Makeup like but in the lighter, funky colors like pinks, purples, and neons.
