Pet species masks you can hold! We have a few for the face but I'd love to see some on sticks you can hold in various pet species (which can be added to each year since we have so many)

So yes something like that but with pet species inspired styles!

Intricate belts with gears and chains and what not, for the waist and maybe some a little higher up on the body for more layering possibilities.

More wearable decor weapons, like daggers, swords, rapiers, etc.

More colorful smoke/fog in various bright colors but also some more dull and subdued steam colors as well!

OK, maybe you guys need to be educated about this stuff. I can do that. And that will get you the images you want too, heh heh, without making me feel like I have to write a dissertation whereas everyone else just gets to say "moar neon" (please no moar neon; okay, I lie, if you do an Eliza Schuyler Hamilton dress in cyan with black and hints of pale magenta I will wear the shit out of that, but if it's done in neon chartreuse and orange you are dead to me)...

There are a couple of frock coat designs in Steamworks that can work for Revolutionary War/Rococo, but the rest of the outfit's not really there to go with them, because the pants in Steamworks are usually pretty whack and look more like something that they would've worn in the movie Velvet Goldmine.. Yeah. Okay. More on this later, with pictures.

I think I just codified a lot of why I get pissed about Steamworks because actually most of those clothes have always been clubwear with a few historical bits thrown in, and so now people just want to take away the few historical bits that are left and replace it with more clubwear?

Because the pants with corset lacing up the front of the legs? That's glam rock, not steampunk. And the miniskirts. Miniskirts did not exist before the 1960s. (Unless you were a Roman dude but actually those were armour lol)

But warning: I used to do some historical costuming/recreation stuff as a hobby, so if I get on a roll you might end up with much more information than you want and a whole lotta snark.

I actually think they've done a lot of Lady Galadriel stuff over the years, just not for Vesnali, but I wouldn't be sad to see the back of Tinkerbell, you got me there.

If I were going to suggest anything for Vesnali it'd probably be Triple Fortune floral lolita dresses, which are nothing like the lolita dresses people think we have too many of.

Also Art Nouveau/WWI (pre-roaring 20s) tea gowns if we're just talking about something that I would like for springtime, rather than a Vesnali theme, because again, I don't really get what Vesnali is.

Vesnali has always been really hit or miss for me. I will buy pinup and lolita stuff on the rare occasion that they do it, but I'm so not into the farming stuff. :)

Now you are getting it. 😉. I am shure you have plenty more great ideas but feel free to take your time for vesnali stuff. If it is truly as vaugely themed as you think it is there should be plenty of space for all kinds of things.

Can you elaborate on "if it truly is as vague as you think it is?" I freely admit that Vesnali is a holiday that I don't understand. I think it's vague because it seems to be:

• baby bunnies and farm animals
• easter but not easter
• gardening
• and sometimes fairies. In the other thread if you'd like. I don't know where that one is either.

In general reference pictures are ALWAYS a good idea. I’m a very visual person (and also kinda stupid) so I don’t always interpret written requests the way the writer intends.

Plus, if I just get a term to google, there’s a much higher chance I’ll just draw whatever I think looks coolest rather than what’s actually wanted. I mean that might happen anyway even with a reference but idk.

As far as neon vs. steampunk goes, I wouldn’t say I’m personally bored of either, it’s just that sometimes (most times) the clock works against you. Ballgowns take more effort, not even counting recoloring, and there’s foods and possibly pets to do. I can’t tell you how many files I’ve got of things unfinished because I couldn’t get them done in time for the event, or we even ended up not needing them. I guess, point is, we DO read suggestion threads and we try to meet the suggestions on top of doing our own things. Don’t be shy in requesting the same thing if you didn’t get it last time! You might be surprised!

yo when I said Tudor, I meant in reference to the architectural style (as I also listed off Brutalist, Gothic revival and art deco alongside and said architectural...).

Like dresses which look like these buildings as opposed to actual Tudor period fashion dresses.

Or other example fro the styles I listd- Gothic revival dresses which look like cathedrals, or brutalist two piece suites which look like they're made from sculptural concrete and glass and art deco waist clinchers which look like extravagant geometric corner mouldings.

I'll take Tudor architectural designs over neon cyberpunk any day. The arches within arches would be lovely on a full floor-length skirt.

Here are some things I think would be cool: Wigs or something like that that are bobs with neon colors, perhaps with ombres from natural to neon? Bright mascara Bright eyebrows Just general bright makeup Neon flower crowns Neon miniskirts or skirts like the truffles in the L'amour Parlor Chunky holographic glitter Skirts like the wench ones but in bright colors Hair like the shaved heart hair but with gears instead of hearts Shirt that says "Not a robot" Sheer/mesh tops in neon colors Pasties in different shapes (gears, Xs, etc) Sheer/mesh top that is only like on area with collarbone and sleeves Bright octagonal glasses

More held masks would be nice, especially since I plan to use the Metalmorposis skin, I want to show my HA's face but still involve a mask in the outfit. As for pets, we do have the , so we could have other pets to go with that one.

It would also be nice to have more masks that are worn above the eyes, as in, masks that have been pushed up to reveal the face. Like how there are some glasses and goggles wearables where they're worn above the eyes.

I really would like to see something based on the Metalmorphosis machine. Maybe a broken or a "bootleg".

Also, maybe this is a bit nitpicky but I always felt the cyberpunk stuff looked so out of place beside the steampunk so how about some sort of cyber trinket?

Big fan of dystopian steam punk so I'd love to see more gas masks/respirators, ha.

We have a bunch of tear gas masks but not much goggles that go with them.

Could also work as diving goggles, safety goggles (for science themed pets) etc.

If the robots from metalmorphosis are NOT included as wearables during masquerade I will be very VERY disappointed.

I really like the idea of the broken shoes, masks, danced out items.

Putting in a vote for more background, and not even whole background pictures but maybe items that feel like they belong. A dancer, a table, etc.

The items have been a solid fave for a while, but I would kill a man for a black or white variant of it or something similar.

This belt but at regular waist level love the look but it isn't always usable and I thirst for more big buckle belts.

This suggestion is perhaps a bit out of the left field but a possibly steampunked up version of Dutch 17th century clothes could look really cool. Elaborate dark toned dresses with large ruffs.
