I'm loving the Pride Flags too!! I don't see the genderqueer flag very often so I'm really, really glad that it was included

Thank you for these. I hadn't seen a few of them before and reading through the news comments I learned a great deal more about the different flags than before.

The new pride flags are awesome! I'm glad to see alternative lesbian flags since the stuff came out about the creator of the all pink one.

I thought the Labrys flag was some kind of lumberjack pride flag at first, that's how much attention the lesbians get from mainstream media...

I was so happy about the updated stripped lesbian version I didn't even notice the labrys at first. That's so amazing! I hope they eventually update the lesbian sash to match it!

It was a nice surprise, especially since I happened to come out to my Dad not long before (I said I might be busy on a certain day because of a Pride event I wanted to go to, and of course he just had to ask what I was doing so then I had to explain that I wanted to go that because I'm asexual, it was very awkward but he seems fine with it), I thought it was appropriate timing.

Thank you. <3 I'm still struggling with figuring out how to openly say I'm nonbinary, more people know it online than offline for me.

I hope people who make negative comments about the LGBTQ+ users on here realize how difficult things can be before they make willingly ignorant comments...

while i adore the flags, the absolute out pour of absolutely revolting people dampened the excitement and happiness for me, and instead just made me feel a mixture of illness and sadness. i hate when releases like this bring out this vitriol in people. a bittersweet release for me, sadly.

a lot of the more ... sordid/hateful comments got deleted pretty quickly, but you can see the aftermath. went about as smoothly as last years. :/

Well awesome they were deleted so fast! I was there shortly after release so they must have been diligent about it, which is always lovely to see.

Yeah it's a shame that even on Subeta of all places, where there are a lot of people who are openly LGBT+, we still have to deal with that. :/

Don't worry , the world being a sphere was discovered so long ago and there are still people today who think the earth is flat. There are always doing to be idiots and people who manifest their own, totally unrelated problems into being either dumb or mean to others, but that doesn't stop progress or the spread of love. We always have two options: educate when possible, otherwise turn away and recognize that their mean voices really do not matter, the hate speech is less than the dirt beneath your shoes and you don't owe it a second thought when the bottom of your shoes get dirty do you? :) The gesture of pride flags here and the gesture of staff deleting bad comments will outweigh the bad stuff people say, because those are people willing to stand up to it and normalize all of these wonderful pride items for us. Making this kind of thing normal and chill is way more important than any of those dumb comments, that's building a legacy right there, you can still be happy and proud about that!
