My bf already got his- Xbox One X Scorpio edition. I'm still trying to figure out what to give my family, though.

So, I figured I could get inspired by being nosy about what you all are giving to the people on your lists.

We don't celebrate because we never have money. However, I was able to set some money aside and got my mom the latest Linkin Park CD and an electric skillet. As for my brother, I got him a new gaming keyboard. As I'm not on the best term with my father and he is much more rich than me, I got him pictures of his dog, some Ferrero Rocher chocolate and a pair of reading glasses.

I don't give gifts on any particular day or so. I recently gave an older niece my entire Pokemon card collection. And since my falling out of fandoms, most of my former collection has been donated or is awaiting for the toy drives.

I know my gamer friend has done some whoppers in the past for me, I suspect that my efforts with his projects are well taken.

Old, and obsolete.

Spoiling the boyfriend with nice Stacey Adams dress shoes, a new tie clip, a beard kit for his lumberjack jesus beard, new headphones, more to come though. (probably forgetting something as I've ordered everything already) Spoiling myself with LimeCrime lipsticks.

Thank god he doesn't play subeta. And regarding the pricing, I just put aside 20 bucks a week for fun things and It really stretches.

I have one job with like 6 people, and another with like 20+

The little one will get bath bombs and chocolate, the others.... ummm well... I will just hide myself in the fact that most people don't gift there either.

I don't know what to mail my family yet. A bunch of souvenirs I guess. Maybe a handwritten card to each of them.

I'm probably going to give some generic nice stuff to my mom and grandparents. Chocolate, tea, beauty/bath products... None of my relatives ever wish for anything, and I don't want to buy them useless stuff.

As for my boyfriend, I probably won't get him anything? We don't really celebrate Christmas. I think we've bought each other some Christmas presents randomly, but it's never been like a consistent thing that we do every year, and sometimes he's bought me something and I haven't bought him anything and vice versa.

I'm almost finished with my Christmas shopping and it's not even December yet! That's super good for me. Normally I panic because I procrastinate haha.

I spoiled my husband, partially because it's our first Christmas married. I would've got him a Xbox One X as well, but he already bought it earlier this month. I got him a DXRacer gaming chair, a JBL bluetooth speaker, some Funko pops, some airplane plushies (he loves airplanes), a throw blanket, travel pillow, some t-shirts, and a Fallout welcome mat lol.

My dad leaves his golf stuff scattered around the house, so I got him a golf organizer shelf. My mom has been wanting an outdoor nativity set for years now, so I got her one of those. Bought my sister-in-law a couple camera scarf straps since she's a photographer. Got my grandma a painting by one of her favorite artists from a craft fair. And my dog a few new toys.

I still have to shop for three people so fun times. Glad I've been saving money recently LOL.

I've got very little extra money to spend on people this year. But I say that and end up spending a ton anyway XP

Going to try and get the boyfriend a new pair of PJ pants cuz the last ones I got him shrunk so bad they are mine now DX TOTALLY UNINTENTIONAL lol. Maybe a beard kit because omg that thing is out of control. My one friend who plays subeta is getting... A SURPRISE. My other BFF I'm not sure yet. She just turned 30 and we got her 30 things so like... what is left even?

Then I signed up for a secret santa and I'm not 100% but I may get them the star wars monopoly game. Gotta get my old lady cat a warm cat bed thing cuz she gets stiff when she sleeps and I love her and just want her to be comfortable and happy always. Ummm, the parents are getting a card and I'll probably get my mom some flowers cuz christmas is actually her birthday.

If anyone is shopping for any "nerdy" people thinkgeek.com has some really cool stuff. Although I would play it safe and try to price match on Amazon if possible XD

Other than needing to get something for my brother-in-law, I'm done with Christmas shopping. My husband is getting a Canon EOS Rebel T5 camera kit with another lens and bag. Just bought it last night. My mom loves turtles and I found a turtle fountain with LED lights, also got her the movie Ever After, and a wall hanging that says Love you to the Moon and back. I also got her a book. Stepdad will get a box cutter and huckleberry Jam since he loves that. Then I got a box of hot chocolate for him and my mom to share. Oh also a book for him too. My grandma will get a huckleberry scented bar of soap made out of goat milk and huckleberry scented goat milk lotion. I also got her a book.

My sister-in-law will get a towel/hot pad set that is black/burgundy/cream colored with the word barista and coffee mugs on them. A wall hanging (shadow box style) with a cut out coffee mug that says "But First Coffee" that is burgundy colored. I got her a bag of vanilla flavored ground coffee and chocolate covered coffee candies. She'll also get a $10 gift card for Google Play store.

My niece, will get stress relief bath salts, (she's in nursing school to become a RN and works as a CNA, so lots of stress in her life) a bar of chocolate, box of hot chocolate, burts bee's chapstick, and a $10 gift card for Google Play Store.

My husband's parents do not celebrate Christmas and it's only been in the last 2 years that my husband finally decided to get into Christmas more. (thankfully) I save up all my birthday, anniversary, Christmas money etc. to buy Christmas gifts for everyone else. I can't remember the last time I spent my birthday/anniversary/Christmas money on myself. I enjoy spoiling others. Now just to figure out what to get my brother-in-law. I don't really know what he likes.

Hubby and I aren't doing presents this year, spoiling the kiddo instead. He's getting a 16ft trampoline and a sandpit!

Getting the parents a calendar that the kid made as a token gift.

My people are on different continents and we're all low maintenance enough that a text message will do each year. xD

Not sure what I'll get my mom this year. Or the fam. :0 Maybe a board game. I know they're into that.

Thanks for making this thread - I can use some inspiration too!

Oh no! I hope you have a wonderful Luminaire on Subeta to make up for it (assuming Christmas is a thing you usually enjoy...)

Do you live far from your family? Mine is across the country. What kind of souvenirs were you thinking?

You're brilliant - a gaming chair! I never would have thought of that but I may just steal your idea! Though I'm not sure how to pick one out.

I love spoiling others too ^_^ But there are always those people that are just tough to figure out :/ Do you know what you're going to try to do to figure out your BIL?

I've gotten my brother and family a few board games the last few years. They really enjoy them and I try to get them different types. I've gotten them a few cooperative games, with Pandemic and Oregon Trail being the most popular. Some that can be played with just two people like Dominion and Monopoly Deal (a card game). Smash Up was also a hit because the game is a little different each time you play. Does your family have any favorite board games? I'm always looking for ideas!

Thank you for the gift on here! <3

Yes, it normally is but family's having financial difficulties at the moment so I'm not expecting there to be much this year. Which is okay, I just wish my father would chill out.

I'm thinking of getting my BIL the movie, The Finest Hours, and a large bag of roasted blue diamond almonds from Amazon. He loves almonds and I figure a person can't go wrong with a movie.

Well, my husband is picky when it comes to his gaming-related stuff so I knew I couldn't exactly go cheap if I went with a chair haha. I chose a DX Racer. They cost a pretty penny but I could see him enjoying it. I did save like, almost $100 on a Black Friday deal though. If you're considering a gaming chair, for reference, I purchased DX Racer's King Series chair. It's meant for people up to 6'2 in height and can hold up to 275 pounds. My husband is that height and one of our good friends who uses our chair for gaming is a bigger guy so I thought it would be the ideal chair to buy.

The sucker came in a giant box that was almost as tall as me and weighed just shy of 70 pounds. Soooo you can imagine my struggle getting it in the house and finding a spot to hide it xD

I went all out and got my boyfriend tickets to Universal Studios. I’m giving them to him as a Christmas present but we’re going for his birthday in September. I’m super excited and I know he will be too. ☺️

Since that gift is pretty big, everyone else on my list will only be getting one or two small things. My mom earrings, my brother a nice glass Tupperware set, my grandmother a sun hat, and a gift card for my boyfriend’s parents.

You're welcome :) I hope the others around you, including your father, don't stress you out - nothing worse during the holidays imo

Movies & food? Never a bad choice :)

Thanks for the details! I have no idea where I would hide something like that :x I'd probably have to ask my neighbor to store it at her place lol

That's a pretty great gift! Have either of you ever been to Universal Studios before?
