WELCOME BACK MY FELLOW HUFFLEPUFFS!!
I am Gwenyfar (ibook) your prefect for this term of school. Term will be starting in one week on the 18th - are you all excited?! I have decided to host a party for my fellow housemates for this next week.
For 7 days I will have challenges, trivia, prizes, and just lots of fun - all found right here in our common room. You are welcome to participate as you feel like it - nothing is mandatory. Each day there will be something new and fun for you to do which will hopefully bring us closer together as a group. I will also be telling you of our biggest in-house event that will be going on this term.
I will have posted each day these things
- a trivia question for you to answer (smail me the answer and receive a prize)
- an activity for you to do - to get to know each other and have fun
- treats that you can take home with you (post what you want from the days treats)
Feel free to talk to each other as well. We want to get to know you (both the character and person). You can rp or just talk as yourself.
Please if you know someone who hasn’t already joined up the hufflepuff forum group, here, let me know and I will invite them.
DAY ONE
On a table in front of you sits a few bowls filled with jelly beans - you get to choose which one you’d like to eat - you can only choose one today.
Today is a day for welcomes and get to knows - so your activity today is to introduce yourself to everyone (your character or yourself) and let everyone get to know each other. You can look at the forums below and maybe even fill out the forms there. Get to know your Hufflepuffrers Student Roster
When you enter the common room today you notice Gwen has set up some different tables filled with items. Curious about what she has done today you walk over. Sitting one of the tables are toy wands that turn to bubble gum with a flick of your wrist, a cauldron that produces the most beautiful smells, quills that sing to you as you work, and some strange parchment that is curling and uncurling on its own. The next table has what looks like a bunch of Hufflepuff items that you can wear to show your house pride. The last table is probably the most curious - mainly because of the noise it is making. Sitting in boxes on the tables are frog, cat, and owl stuffed animals. But these plushies seem to be moving on their own like real animals!
There is a sign that says that everyone is allowed to take one item from each table to keep. (you can choose one item from each of the categories)

Today’s activity is to make an HA - this HA could represent your character, yourself, or something random. Tell us a little about why you chose to share this particular HA with us. Try to be creative - maybe make an HA who represents your favorite candy, then you can have us guess what it is.[/center]
Day Three
The common room seems quiet today compared to yesterday with all the noises the tables were making. You wonder if maybe Gwen forgot to put something out - maybe she fell asleep or went on a food run. But then as you near the fireplace you see sitting in neat little rows some cat and bunny plushies. There is a card in the front:
You smile and after looking at all there faces choose a new friend to take back to your bed.
Today’s activity is to think up your own Hufflepuff motto. We know the sorting hat has all year to come up with a whole song about Hogwarts but I think we should help him out this year. Try to think of something that the sorting hat can say about the Hufflepuffs - we are more than people think.
Day Four
Entering the common room brings the smells of cocoa and the fire. You feel so relaxed being back with your fellow Hufflepuffs that you just want to curl up with a good book today and read the afternoon away. As it turns out there is a cart with a selection of books on it for just these times. An urn of fresh hot cocoa has been provided as well. So with a cup of warm cocoa you make your book selection then find a comfy chair and curl up to read.
Since today is about relaxing and being comfortable tell us what you (or your character) likes to do when it is rainy out and you (they) just want to laze about.
Day Five
Today when you enter the common room you notice two things right away; one Gwen has set up a huge bulletin board on the wall, and two she also has a lot of habitats next to her. You walk up to Gwen and ask her what it is all about. She smile and looks so excited. “I am just waiting for everyone to come in, then I will let you all know.” So you wait as people begin coming in and sitting down. Eventually it seems as if all the Hufflepuffs are in the room. Gwen clears her throat, “This term we are going to be having something big happening within the house. As you know when you complete a class or an activity you are rewarded points for the house and yourself. Well this term we are having a Point Run! What I mean by this is we will have different point tiers and at each tier you will be able to pick a prize! I have some awesome prizes for you guys to choose from. The biggest being if you get a top scorer for the term of a buyable Custom Wearable of your choice!!” She lets the news sink in before continuing - “You can find all the information here on this board. I will answer any questions posted there. As our treat for today I talked with Naos and he helped me gather some little friends for you to have.”
Today’s challenge is to use your new friend and make an HA that represents them. I used the Ladybug Insect Temporary Habitat and made her: Outfit Not Found
Day Six
In the common room today is a note that tells you to go to Greenhouse 1 today. When you enter the greenhouse you see another note next to two pallets. These pallet is filled with the most unusual thing - cups of dirt and flower plushies. The note tells you that since Hufflepuff students are said to like gardening that flower plushies seem like a good present. Of course though, what is a flower without it’s dirt? But don’t worry this dirt you can eat!!
Today I want you to think (and post) of two things: What animal would you have chosen as the Hufflepuff house, and why? Pick an animal to represent each person who has been posting the past few days: , , , and
Day Seven
Today Gwen is just sitting by the fire when you come in - she smiles as you walk up to her. “I thank you all for such a great party this week. I am glad I got to know you guys better and look forward to the new term starting tomorrow. I think today we should just take a break and have a nice cup of tea. Talk about all the things we think will happen this year. What classes we will be taking and such.”
I want to thank you all for helping and joining in this week. You all made me feel so special and I hope you liked what I set up. I will have more things planned throughout the term so look forward!!
Today I want to pay homage to the other houses at Hogwarts. Make an HA to represent another house - or dress your character up with their house colors.

Hello - as I said before my character is Gwenyfar. My name though is Rachel and I am 31 gasp I am old. I have been playing Subeta for over 10 years - again I feel old.
I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Sailor Moon, and Criminal Minds the best.
I have been told I am weird because I like scary things and like finding out the way the brain works.
I am quiet and shy - my character reflects this too. But we are both trying to come out of our shells.

Hello friends! I've been a part of the Hufflepuff group for maybe a year or so, but I never seem to find the time to participate much. Hopefully that can change! ^_^
So I don't have a character atm, but my name is Alana. I'm 25, and I'm a preschool teacher. I sometimes call myself a Huffleclaw because I sometimes test into Ravenclaw, and it does seem fitting, as well.

Hello!! My name is Megan, 22 y-o and just graduated college back in May.
This year I will be starting the term with a brand new character named Jona Fletch and I am really excited to RP him. He is very different from the last character I was RPing (Sauvage) and who I just kind of threw together last minute when I joined the group and wanted to get involved with RPing. I hadn't thought at all about her background so I kept getting stumped with how to RP her. So, I am trying over again!

Yes, I just updated his bio the other day and sent it in to Bennet to be added! He has got a pretty sad background, but I really wanted to do a full 180 from my last character, who had a very easy life, in order to shake things up on my end.
Hello, my name is Lizze & I'm 31... Also feeling old ._. I've been playing Subeta for 11 years. I am a 24 hour emergency vet receptionist & currently taking Vet Tech classes. My boyfriend believes I'm a Hufflepuff, because I'm often daydreaming, stuck in La La Land, or I will burst out laughing at a joke that happened over an hour ago. He's not wrong. Very cool, I can't wait! I mostly play RPG's (like Zelda ;)), I've found quite a few great ones on the ps4! If you like RPGs I definitely recommend it, especially with Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy 7, the remake coming out. I just recently finished Horizon and am working on Tales of Berseria (also a very good series of RPGs if you like anime/manga style games.)

So I've created a student, Lily to hopefully learn how to RP a little and join in on all the fun! :) Outfit Not Found Voilà!
Lily choses the parchment (this could be good for keeping notes), the scarf to keep warm during winter and still support her house, and finally spends the longest amount of time at table 3...which to choose?! She finally decides on the Snugtom (It's just too cute. :3)

, I really have to update my bio too for the roster - bad me. lol. I think a shake up is good sometimes. I have a hard time writing for happy characters so Gwen is different for me. lol.
, do you own any animals yourself? I love that you are a vet tech - that can be some hard work. c: You should just sit around with a smile on your face for no reason - that will freak your boyfriend out a lot. lol. Also, even though it is no longer day one you are allowed to answer the trivia question if you'd like for a prize.
