, Yeah I am in PA - Pittsburgh to be exact. c: He totally didn't deserve you. I find a lot of guys are stupid and only after one thing. I haven't dated anyone in about 2 years because no one is worth it. lol.
Thanks everyone for your advice, I will talk to my friend - I just have to get the guts up to do that now .
You were talking about challenging yourself to do new things, you can do this! I really love this saying in "We Bought a Zoo" where the main character says "You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, just literally 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery, and I promise you something great will come of it." (I had to do some research to find out exactly where I'd heard it before.) The movie wasn't great but I think it makes a good point.
Sometimes we need to just step out of our comfort zone and do something for ourselves.
, Yeah- I am trying to do that more and more - get out of my comfort zone. Even if I end up hating it or something, at least I have tried.
Very cool. I was about to bail outside of Pittsburgh when I went on a road trip to Cleveland with my ex-best friend. I was actually looking at going to grad school at Indiana Uni of PA.
This administration's decision to reverse the Obama administration's elephant trophy ban is one policy in a long list that I'm disappointed by.
I tell myself that everything is temporary in terms of US politics. Ireland is beautiful though. I was there in 2010.
Love that Slytherin HA!
I've always wanted to go somewhere tropical, especially Hawaii.
The bigger issue imo is your weight loss surgery. You clearly value your friendship and I'm not sure what your current relationship is like with the brother. I wouldn't take action in your feelings for him until you've gained more clarity on how you feel about yourself and your own body. I feel similar societal pressures to keep weight off as a woman.
I love traveling too. My study abroad trips were a semester in London and a month in India. You are both very well-traveled.

Aw shucks thanks :) Actually, since you mention it - I just got to visit Hawaii last summer! I was in Maui for 14 days and it was awesome. I really wanna go back and visit the other islands as well. I am thinking of WWOOFing there for a while as a way of staying for an undetermined amount of time, but having a guaranteed place to sleep at night.
- Yeah it always changing. lol. I figure as long as we are not dead we are okay.
I love the beach - I want to live near the water at some point. I think that would be so calming and awesome. Water is my thing it is so soothing.
I talked to my friend and she doesn't have a problem with it - But I do think I am going to wait till after my surgery and everything. So much will be changing and happening then that it would probably be best to wait. I have so much I wan to do anyways after I loose the weight. I am hoping my arthritis gets a little better and lets me do more. I bought a season pass to the amusement park here - I am going to try going there a lot. And I wanna learn to snowboard. I have a list of things.
Hawaii sounds like paradise right now. Your trip must have been amazing. It's getting cold in New Jersey!
I love the beach too. This past summer I spent some Sundays there and it was so peaceful.
I wish you luck with your happiness and health. Which amusement park? I've never tried snowboarding but I like skiing once a season lol.

, I have a feeling I will fall more than I actually snowboard but I want to try it anyways.
Kennywood is the amusement park in Pittsburgh worth going to, that is the one I got a season pass to. But I want to go to Cedar Point too in Ohio - I am just nervous about their rides....
