It's done really weird things to pricing; rarity 9 weapons shouldn't be going for 20K while rarity 86 items are only 30K. She's practically not worth doing, since she awards at least partly by rarity and a lot of the more common weapons are priced beyond reasonable return. Meanwhile, the super rare weapons keep dropping because there's only so much use for them otherwise. Maybe they should be added into Maleria's asking pool.

Edit: I don't tend to pay attention much when doing quests when I even do them, but isn't maleria rather generous with her sP payouts? I remember seeing a graph that Keith posted showing that maleria was overperforming relative to the other quests and that's why she was changed.

I just tried them today and lost a little over 100k. I think the payouts are fine but now the weapons that she asks for are so overpriced that it doesn't even out anymore. She WAS a good quest and I don't know how long this has been happening, but today she was not good.

Yeah she really sucks now. I'd actually rather do Cinthia's than hers cause I keep losing money with Mal.

Not to mention what it's done to the prices of pylonics and potions. They're all, what, 30k each now?

It's already bad enough that battle supplies are scarce in the main shops, and now this? No one's happy. :(

I've noticed this as well. I'm sure i actually made more from Cinthia today than from Maleria, and there's something wrong there!

Maleria used to be one of my favorite quests because in addition to giving a decent sP reward, i could usually count on a couple of nice rares or super rares as rewards for the more expensive quests. Now she only seems to give out common items, so if the sP doesn't cover the currently-way-overpriced stuff she asks for, you aren't even recovering the loss with the item reward. Even Cinthia gives out some rares, and that's how she is actually much better than Maleria at this point. My whole Subeta universe feels inside out...lol

I also noticed this after Maleria was the weekend quest. She used to be my go to quest giver simply because of her rewards. I'm fine with spending a little more than her but with how weapons are priced right now and the rewards, it isn't worth it for me.

ah I guess it's possible the increased items she asks for and/or someone buying out the items raised the prices enough to make them not profitable. her item pool is pretty small though, I wouldn't mind it expanding to include other things (minions please, they are worthless)

I agree with you, all the items she asks for are way over priced compared to the rewards she give out. I find myself loosing sp on her quests now. She use to be my favorite.

Maleria's items are ridiculously overpriced, she is not worth doing now. Please fix this quest, because as of now it really stinks.

Her payout is terrible now, wonder why they changed her payout since WQS.

I really hate doing Maleria lately. All she asks for is 30k value items, and pays you like 30k for buying 3 of them. It's kind of pathetic, I pretty much gave up~

She seemed better today, I didn't end up losing sP at least. Maybe she's been adjusted a bit?

If anything, she was worse for me today than yesterday. The stuff she asks for is just getting way too inflated to make much in the way of profit, and she keeps asking for the same few things. Still only got crap for items from her too; that's the most disappointing part of the change as far as i'm concerned.

Getting asked for 3 items costing 30K each is ridiculous. If you can't increase her item pool please change her quests so she only asks for one item.

Yeah, the three item quests were apparently a bad idea there. Also, I wish she asked for SRs as well and adjusted her payout accordingly, I've been losing out on her consistently.

I actually make a tonne of sP because I do my BQs daily and so have a huge hoard of the items she asks for. x)

This really IS a big deal btw because Shinwa's quest asks for Maleria items!
