I think that keeping her quests to weapons only is not the best idea because there aren't many of them in comparison to food, for example. There's also the problem of her asking for items from the Apocalyptic Apothecary because, as people have pointed out, they no longer stock as they should because the shop stock is taken up with elixirs.

I can agree she isn't as profitable as she was. I manage to quit a majority of her quests anymore. The ones I tend to do can either be profitable or a total loss. Spent like 40k on her once to get only 20k back. :/

Yay, I'm so happy to see the Spells items thrown in the mix. :D Her quests were so much more manageable today, made a decent profit on both sP and items.

The Magic Box closed, so the Apocalyptic Apothecary took up the slack. So if Maleria is asking for weapons mainly, should I start restocking at defend and counter/weapons warehourse?

But honestly, it's too bad people are disappointed with Maleria's quest now. Library and Cinthia are already bad according to many users. On the bright side, if anyone wants good payouts, try doing the cursed quests! :)

Adding Spells Galore to the mix seems to be working pretty great so far :D I hope not everything there inflates as well..

I also like the addition to Spells Galore items to Maleria's item pool. :) The quests needed some adjusting due to recent weapon prices, and this seems like a natural addition since the items are used to build scrolls for use in the BC. A lot of scroll weapons could use a little boost in value too, so hopefully this evens things out all around.

Scrolls are going to be revamped fairly soon, which may boost their value independently of this change. I am hesitant about this change because of the scroll revamp coming up, some spells take 8 or so of a single ingredient to make and if the cheapest scrolls become pretty decent and useable, I don't want a level 1 spell to cost 240k for 8 of an ingredient. For the time being, this is a nice change though.

[edit] I guess level 1 spells only need 1 or 2 of each ingredient from the few I looked at. it wouldn't be so bad with even inflated prices level 2 has a few you need 4 or 5 for though

Are they doing a full scroll revamp? I wasn't aware of that. In it's current state I like the Maleria changes, but yeah. I agree with you. Any changes from a scroll revamp could lead to new adjustments needing to be made if scroll components get too expensive. Without knowing if that's going to be the case or not though, I'm happy with the current transition.

To my knowledge, they are making the useless scrolls more viable? I'm not completely sure about the details as they haven't said much about it. Just that there are a whole lot of bad scrolls out there and they will get restatted.

Interesting. Good news to get more people battling. Maybe that's part of the idea behind adding scroll components to Maleria quests now (get the ingredient prices to pick up some before the revamp hits)? It would likely require a further adjustment to Maleria once the scroll revamp goes live, but that could make sense since it'll help lower weapon prices in the meantime too.

I'd pretty much given up on Maleria quests except when I had to for Shinwas. But if they've added spells galore, I guess I'll try them out again.

I used to love doing her. Now I dont because she ends up costing me in the end.

The quests feel good to me. Made a profit on all my quests today. I think the inclusion of spells is great considering just how many common ingredients there are; it's harder to game the system when the items in constant supply in the main shops. There's 9 full rows in stock as I type this.

I have to say I'm confused with how inflated her items are, why it is still a 3 item quest. She's giving out as much sP as Saggi ??

At least make the algorithm so that she doesn't ask for three weapons x_x
