I don't really want to go into specifics to avoid promoting a glitch or anything, but I have to question Subeta's logic in keeping known glitched areas of the site available to the public.

I found a game with a serious glitch that was very easy to exploit. I made a bug report and called it a day. I later found out that this was a known issue and has been happening since the 8th. Why was this game not pulled down within a day or so if the problem could not be easily solved? Just putting a banner on the page saying it's down for maintenance right now and there ya go. No one gets in trouble for accidentally exploiting a glitch or deliberately as the case may be.

So I guess my question is why aren't known problem areas removed from the site until they can be fixed? Why just sweep the areas under the rug and hope no one else finds it?

You are right, there's not even an announcement about it.. (I had to check the dismissed bugs) probably many people are playing this game without knowing that it's kinda forbidden right now..

Lol, I had literally no idea that we're advised not to play that game right now. I think I did play it once when it was like this. Guess it's our job to dig in the dismissed reports of the problems and bugs forum to find information like that. 👍 Really cool, subeta.

I seldom ever play the game in question, but I'm glad that this was brought up, because I too had no idea that we're supposed to avoid playing the game until it is fixed.

All that needs to be done is just removing the game and its URL. Then when it is fixed, put it back up.

I already finished the achievements for this game, and it took a quite a while to. If Item Hunt wasn't already messed up for weeks, before it was given attention too late. Now this.

I think sometimes it just depends on which admin are available and capable of fixing/removing things? Subeta seems to have a pretty small staff.

That's fine and I'd give the site 24hrs maybe a little longer to pull something. But it's been happening for just shy of a week. In that time someone could have been notified to bring the game down. While they should probably put up a small explanation to avoid answering a dozen "Where did this go?!" posts even just removing the url from the site is better than nothing.

I have no idea what game this is but I'm now wary of playing any games just in case I abuse a glitch by mistake.

I found a broken site feature too, that could be easily exploited and was being encouraged to use during that time. I haven't used it lately (I was given the okay that I could use it since it'd be broken for everyone else too) so I don't know if it's still broken but I don't understand why it was even featured before being fixed.

Let me know if this is too obvious and I'll delete it, I don't want to draw attention to the feature in question either

Wow. That took so long to fix after this board was made. I can totally see why it took a week to happen. Why does subeta do this sort of thing all the time? When it's an easy fix, just fix it!

I'm glad its fixed but my main point still stands. Why was the game left up so long after it was first brought up to the staff's attention? I get that everyone can't be on at all times but it was nearly a week. It would have been really easy to exploit the glitch to earn the achievement and not taken any time at all really.

In the future I'd just like to see these things handled better by taking down problem areas.
