Kill it with fire.
I'm not joking, I wish every single broken page/feature/location was taken down when it happened (preferably fixed, but it's clear that's unlikely). I could go on and on about it, actually. And I don't want another broken feature in its place, either. I believe I've said it before, but I'd go a whole month without new items if the site would just work on what's broken during that time.
I agree that if something is broken just take it down momentarily with a banner that a glitch is being resolved. I also wish I knew who we can ping to make such a page change.
Silly Evanesce, don't you realize that Subeta has 10 artists and apparently only one programmer who may have a second job? We will be getting new clothing weekly and a broken site FOREVER.
Glitch abuse is glitch abuse is glitch abuse. Regardless of the amount being gained, rules should be enforced for the action not for the reward gained... and staff should take immediate action when they see there is a glitch with the potential to be exploited.
Otherwise, what's the line? I can exploit a glitch that will gain me 6k.. how about 60k? 600k?
You know who I feel bad for when this kind of thing happens? The mods in P&B who have to deal with post after post of people reporting it broken, forEVER. Then someone vocalizes here or on tumblr or something and it gets fixed right away.
I know those mods are filing glitch reports, are those reports just being ignored? That's really unfair to them.
believe it or not this was first brought to my attention from p&b, not site feedback. the only reason i posted here was because people seemed concerned about maybe possibly getting frozen and i wanted to assure them they wouldn't.
it's honestly a coincidence that it was fixed the same day this board was made. most of the time that things take a while to fix, it's because the cause of the problem is not immediately apparent, and it can take quite a bit of debugging (it did with this) to figure out why something's not working before we can fix it. i know everybody likes to assume every bug is a quick and easy fix, but most of them aren't.

That's fair. It does though sometimes seem that the squeakiest wheel gets the grease, and that doesn't change my feelings of sympathy for the staff who have to deal with the users who experience problems with various other... well, wheels.
Although the game isn't giving out that much sp, the achievements aren't easy to get and they contain rewards. I actually had to play the game and spend quite some time to earn the top tier.
Not to mention earning the achievements tied to the game a hell of a lot faster.
6k sPs or not, that's not the point. By not fixing it as soon as it gets reported, or at least take it down to be fixed, you're sending the wrong message to players, that exploiting glitches of any severity are a-okay. But it sounds like the glitch has been fixed now? That's good to hear, thank you~
