so i always find chatting in forums quite daunting, since i'm rather shy and always worry that people will be mean (even if it is against the rules XD ). so i thought i would create my own topic and see if people want to join.

i'll start by throwing in some random facts about myself!

i love: pokemon (my favourite is eevee :3 has been since red and blue originals came out! eevee forever!) animals (wolves are my favourite, and were my favourite before they were cool :P ) my little pony (all generations!) reading (mainly fantasy of various kinds, from high fantasy, mild, and teen fantasy) writing (i want to be a writer) moths and butterflies

my favourite things about subeta: collections...addicted to collecting >< wardrobe (i spend way to much money here...seriously...) events! they are amazing! :D Quentin (they are mine!)

i like pokemon too! but i like the monster like pokemon. i like charizard, tyranitar, kangaskhan, dragonite and others like it. i started playing during silver, gold, crystal version. for real life animals, i like farm animals especially cows. haha they are cute! i also like fishes.

in subeta i like mostly training and battling. also events, i mean who doesn't like events.

i've always been a sucker for the really cute pokemon, but i also have a soft spot for pokemon like charizard, dragonite, the legendary dogs and birds too.

i dont do much battling on subeta, i keep my main pet training all the time, and i try and get all the opponents, but i have little patience, and if i can't defeat someone easily, i tend to give in XD

thank you :) it is a background from plot achievement. the ghostdigger game. find 50 ghost i think. yeah, i give up too when i can't beat them. i just train and wait. i train mostly for events and plot.

so what are you been collecting? i can't get myself into TC collecting regardless how tempting it was!

well, basically if you can collect it on here, i collect it XD so i have considerable plushie, beanbag, sticker, book & TC collections. and i completed the pumpkin collection too :D obsessed is not a big enough word... :P granted collecting the TC's isn't much fun because there's basically nothing to look at with them...but it's a collection :P

that's awesome having a pokemon themed ultimate frisbee team XD explain to me, since we don't do a lot of frisbee over here, what is the difference between regular and ultimate frisbee? when i was in high school, we'd play badminton, and i was rubbish at it (no hand eye coordination, seriously, if i hit the shuttle, it was sheer luck!) and my team was called team rocket (because we always lost XD ), one day, i hit my own teammate with the racket, he pretended to die an heroic death, i promised to avenge him. only he 'died' in the middle of the court, and after i fell over him a couple of times, i had to drag him to the side, then proceed to lose instantly. i suck XD

wow your collection are really impressive! maybe i will start too since we have the mass add now. haha. maybe someday. yes my username is hard to type. even i having trouble typing them. i don't even remember them when login sometimes. i don't know why i picked this random name. haha. i'm also very bad at sport. during high school, i can never hit the shuttle using the correct way and always get in trouble for hitting the shuttle not according to syllabus.

they have frisbee as a sport? i never knew that. i'm not into sport so no surprise there. i'm super excited with the plot. this is my first ever. i grind immediately everything as soon as they release it. probably i'm bursting with excitement due to all the wait and craving for plot during neopets time.

i'm terrible at sport, and also really don't like it, i don't understand the fascination XD the closest i can manage is walking the dog :P though i have a soft spot for archery :3 during school, i wasn't able to take part in gym very often for health reasons, so i got to sit on the sidelines and read for the whole class (so much better than sport XD), but in my last couple of years i did a little more, but just with my friends, since by that point they stopped supervising us as much at let us do what we wanted :P

Oh, there's no difference LOL. Ultimate Frisbee is the formal name :P Oh oh oh! The Olympic finally recognize Frisbee as a sport (like last month ish) and they're thinking about adding it into the Olympic xD

Badminton .. oh man I always miss the shuttle and my friends say I 'dance' around too much when I'm trying to hit it ahahhaha. When I try to hit it, both my arms and one of my leg goes up x_x (Omg your story made me laugh xDD Your friend/team is awesomeee!)

27/250 Ghosts and still need one more of the cute plushie! And level 12/15 for the canon game, that one was not too bad. My heart was racing so much during that game ;;

ah, i've been here for 2 years, got addicted early on, and now i can't stop! ;-; i came here with another friend, , but she's stopped playing, i miss having her around! part of why i wanted to start this thread so i can start talking to some other people :D

that's actually hilarious that they are considering it as a possibility as an olympic event.

my favourite part of that game where my friend 'died', was when i lost completely, i fell over his body pretending to sob, screaming 'I failed you, i'm so sorry! i could not avenge your death!' by this point, the other players (who were playing properly elsewhere in the gym) were all starting at us like 'what on earth...'

ah canada! i have family friends living over there, though i can't remember whereabouts (it's such a big country!) i got shouted at by a customer at my work because i said something about the states, when she was canadian... i felt bad, because i don't like to assume, but to me her accent sounded like my friend is Mass' accent, so i kinda assumed she was at least from the north of america...i was wrong. though i understand the anger people feel when they are assumed canadian or american and they are actually the other, because i hate when people ask if i'm english. never ask a scottish person if they are english XD

you do take badminton to a whole new level. so they just add frisbee into olympic? i guess when something is popular enough they can make it official somehow. the best thing about sport is their fan. i love to see the face of their fan when the team is about to score and failed. they were like yeahhh!!!! then awwwwwwww.... yeah i'm evil. i'm from some asian country. which is nice because i can restock when most people are asleep. and today is weekend! play all weekend!

haha, i get to restock when most can't too :D since i'm 5 hours ahead of subeta time, most people (i.e. players in the states, canada etc) are still at school or work, whereas my day is coming to an end, and i can get my restocking done :D

well, since i hate sport, the only way to make it fun is to turn it into a complete farce XD

i thought not being on subeta peak hour was bad. actually not so bad :)

since you mention you like moth and butterflies, i used to go to school in rural area, more accurately jungle. i saw many kinds of bugs all the time. and a lot of butterflies i've never seen before. i even saw one that look like a banana. shocking to see a small banana on the wall.

yup :D i mean the only really bad thing is missing token shop restocks, they so often happen while i'm asleep or at least, sitting in bed trying to sleep (insomnia sucks)

i like most bugs, as long as they aren't poisonous, and living in scotland, pretty much nothing is actually poisonous, so that's good :D so investigating bugs isn't dangerous! woo!

oh that's cool! i tried looking the banana bug up online but i couldn't find what it could be.

there's a few moths that are really cool, ones that look like hummingbirds (hummingbird hawk moth), ones that looks like little sticks (plume moths), and ones that look like tree bark and stuff, it's really awesome. moths are so much more interesting that people think :D

the butterfly in my signature is my favourite butterfly, which we don't get over here, but it's called the Cracker butterfly. i think it is just stunning! i saw one at the butterfly garden in Mass when i visited last year, i was so happy :D and it had just newly hatched, which was even cooler ^^

yeah token shop. but it always so random, the first restock not always during peak hour. yeah insomnia sucks big time! always strike during inconvenient time.

the banana bug is a moth or butterfly i think.i couldn't find it online either. haha. maybe not popular.

i never saw in real life hummingbird moth but it looks really cool on the internet. we have the stick moth too, again in the same jungle. i think moth really are interesting since they have variety of figure. butterfly on the other hand is more on pattern on the wings. at least what i already saw that is.

i always have insomnia. it's no fun at all. tried pretty much everything to get decent sleep and nothing seems to do the trick ><

yeah, most butterflies are of a pretty uniform shape, something they have those kinda of...droplets on the bottoms of their wings, like a swallowtail has, but moths have a huge variety. i mean, here in the uk there are very few species of butterflies, but thousands of moths. i love both though, i find them just as interesting as each other ^^ and some moths are as colourful or more colourful that butterflies, like the elephant hawk moth, it's just ridiculously colourful:

uuuuh i might not see that one in the wild. it is a perfect camo for flower or some leaves.

my body usually run on 25 hour cycle instead of 24 hour. so my sleep get shifted about 1 hour every day, especially on long holiday. it sucks. then, i try exercising. apparently that worked. haha. sometimes i just go to the mall and walk. i can wander around aimlessly for hours without any suspicion because it's a mall, safe and huge. plus i can stop for food or rest easily. i tried to go to the park but it just wasn't safe enough.

i've never seen one, since they tend to prefer england, though apparently sometimes they come up here, but i've never seen one. they are pretty big for a moth, so they'd be quite easy to spot i think... but who knows XD

my body just doesn't seem to have a sleep cycle, it's part of my medical condition, the insomnia. which sucks because i really need more sleep than the average person, but i get a lot less, usually about 4 hours or less a night. sometimes none at all, then i randomly sleep 12 hours straight. but that's rare. and i can't do much exercise, because of my condition too >< it's like my body hates me. even my doctors don't have a clue what's up with my sleep. i've been seeing a herbalist, she's awesome and her stuff actually seems to work, which is good! but when it comes to sleep, she can't do anything. she has tried everything she can possibly think of, and my body just doesn't react or reacts in the opposite way. she said the other day 'i just wish i knew which mechanism in your body was so badly off that you can't sleep!' XD i'm a mystery! :D

whoa that is terrible. you must be tired all the time. i hate it when tired but can't sleep. it's like the brain is trying to screw with you. i even take a powerful cough medicine once just so i can sleep.

yeah, it's annoying because if i could get more sleep, my body could recover a bit more, then i could do more exercise and break the cycle, but i can't sleep, so can't do anything else ><

haha i wish cough medicine worked on me XD i take strong sleeping pills from the doctor that would knock most people out in seconds, and sometimes they do absolutely nothing for me at all.

got a new external drive for my laptop today, so i'm transferring a bunch of files onto it, to free up space on the internal drive. i have loads of games i want to play, but they run so slow because the computer is so full of stuff, so i thought this might solve my issue. but it's a slow process :P
