Is there anyway that there could be a change in having someone sticker your album for you?

Maybe have someone sticker the first 300 or 500 for you.

Then you can sticker the rest yourself.

I find it hard to ask someone to put the stickers in my album for me.

Everyone has so much to do & I hate bothering them.

There are topics for stickering over at the Achievement forum and the people there are really nice and helpful. Also, in my opinion, the stickering from others is what makes the sticker album somewhat special and not "Boring DIY Collection v4" so I think that it should stay as it is.

that's what makes the sticker collections to unique, and i'm pretty sure staff have said they aren't going to change it. it's supposed to be interactive/social

suggested once having to pay to stick a sticker to yourself. Personally I support that if nothing else. I also hate bugging people becuase I usually have a massive amount of stickers built up before I have them stuck to me :L

If you don't want to trust others, you might want to go and look into Subeta's other collections? Like plushies or beanbags?

I think that you should only be able to stick the first 1-5-10 stickers to yourself. After this, yeah, you'd have to rely on others. I really like the fact that sticking involves other users.

like wut you can always bug me for that?

I feel really bad asking people to stick like 14 lots of stickers ;^; Ok maybe slight exaggeration but I did wait until I had all the legendary stickers made before I asked anyone for that and that's like what, 90 something? [edit] 151 stickers in my vault rn lmao so not an exaggeration at all apparently

[topic not found] I use that thread whenever I need stickers stuck. Sticks for sticks is a pretty good way to do it imo. I'm sure you could inquire about a sticker buddy and find one there too.

I really hate asking people too, ;_; it always feels awkward. I would love an option to pay to stick myself.

Every time someone asks about giving us the option to stick stickers to our own collection, it gets refused, and with the same reason - staff wants it to be a social thing, and that's that. Sorry.

Personally I don't see why we can't have both options (I don't want to make friends, just let me collect my shinies in peace grumble grumble) but eh, it's not that big a deal.

No. This gets suggested like every week. The whole point of the sticker album is that you have to get stuck by other people.

Heh, I feel famous now. But technically I think I got the idea from or someone else better at suggestions than me; I just bring it up a lot because I think it's a good idea.

Does this mean I can but you with massive sticker hordes?

Anywho, the point of the sticker collection is to get the users to be social on site so being able to sticker yourself kind of defeats the purpose of said collection.

If I have a lot of stickers I usually just put up a trade and eventually someone bites.

Otherwise, I have a couple on my friends list I bug for stickers.

I understand stickers are suppose to be a social thing, but damn it's just putting the stickers on a trade, someone offering and sticking them to you, and never talking to that person again. It's more about bothering other people than being social imo :/

I'd love to be able to stick them myself, since I'm finishing my collection and that means I'll need like 300 stickers stuck to me. Most of them are worth 10m+ so it's not like I can ask random people to stick me either. Oh well the downside of not having much friends here I guess :'D

Yep, totally agree. You can't force people to be social against their inclinations. If people are going to be social, they will be, and having activities that encourage being social is a good thing, but the things don't have to be exclusively social.

The people who are naturally social will have plenty of people to stick them. Those of us who are less social will just find it awkward and uncomfortable. If we want the achievements, or a big sticker collection, we will find ways to do it with the most minimal of social contact, and will NOT maintain those contacts.

So really, no matter how the site insists that stickers "must be social" there's really no point to it. I too like the "pay to be unsocial and stick to ourselves" option.

Exactly! It's why I don't bother with the sticker collection. I play Subeta because it's something I can do all by myself. If I wanted to be social, I'd go hang out with my friends or interact with people I actually know in my real life. I guess it kinda works out though. Any sticker I acquire can just be sold off. More SP for me! :D

This is very well put (the entire post is, but I don't want to quote the whole thing :P )

I want to put it out there that I'm okay with being bugged about stickers too (especially if you're willing to stick back because I have a shitload <3 ) but I know that doesn't really help since I don't know people and it would still be bugging a stranger about it :P

The other year we had to do Drill's quests to get New Year items so I did some Add Sticker To Friends Collection. This involved going to the "Slap a sticker on the person above you" topic and posting "above". I honestly don't class this as socialising.

Paying an sP fee for putting stickers in our own albums could be a good sP sink. I wouldn't use it because I have zero interest in collections but I think a lot of players would take advantage of this option.

I get they want it to be social and special but it's still both of those things if we can stick ourselfs and others.

But until that happens this just isn't a collection I'ma ever worry about -shrugs- saves me some scratch since most of the pricey stickers are the coolest ones.

There's forums where you can ask people to do it for you, and there's always the sticker buddy option. It's really no problem to post on the board with your trades when you need stickers stuck to you, that's what the board is there for. People don't mind doing it and are more than happy to stick you with 3, 4, 5 trades worth of stickers. If someone doesn't want to do it, they won't. It's not like they're going to be mean to you about, they simply won't reply to you. So there's no reason to feel like you're bothering someone if they sticker you.

I would love to have an easier way to get stickers in my album, but this isn't it. I don't think we should change it to where we stick ourselves. And hey, that makes sticker albums all the more special.

Except, 1) Sometimes it takes awhile for someone to get back to you, if at all, especially with multiple lots. I don't know about anyone else but if I'm taking the time to put my stickers in trades now it's because I'd rather have them stuck, and stick people back, as soon as possible instead of having someone get to them whenever when my inventory is probably full of shit I need to move first

  1. I'm a little wary with my expensive or limited stickers, I'd rather send them to a friend or at least someone I trusted rather than just whoever offers on the lot. Like I know I can file a ticket if they decide to keep them but avoiding the stress in the first place would be ideal
