UPDATE 07/30/2015: Unfortunately due to an imbalance between Hunters and Immortals, we are temporarily accepting ONLY Hunters. To be accepted, sMail me or , my Co-GM. Thank you for understanding.

Before humanity was ever thought of existing, a species of skilled bipeds roamed the Earth. These beings were much like human beings in appearance and anatomy but had one key difference. They had supernatural abilities, which they believed were given to them by the gods. The beings lived in harmony until they came. Humans came to the Earth along with a whirlwind of conflict. Initially, the humans treated the beings as equals and merged along with them. During this time, the beings found that they didn’t age as fast as the humans hence the reason they were given their names: The Immortals. This peace did not last long. Soon Humans began to hunt the beings down, one by one until only about a third of their original population still survived.

The surviving Immortals hid until they were forgotten, long enough to where they could merge with society again. The second merging was successful, with no one figuring out what they were or where they came from. Little did they know, the power of Catholicism would bring them down, again. The Immortals were branded as many things ranging from witches to demons and ultimately were hunted down and executed. Due to their numbers, the Catholic Church created a special branch with the intent of obliterating all Immortals. Soon after the hunts began, their population dwindled down to 50 Immortals left.

In order to keep their population alive, the oldest of the Immortals sacrificed himself as a gift to their gods. The gods responded with a solution. Every 18 years, new Immortals would be born into the world with human families. However, the Immortals must rise against the Church’s organization and find a way to defeat them. Ever since then, Immortals have been searching the planet, trying to band together their forces, in hope that they may have that one day of peace.

Rules:

  1. All characters must be approved before the play can start. I will accept characters after play has started but no posting until I have accepted you please.
  2. No godmodding, Mary Sues, Gary Stus, and overall foulplay. This is a concept you can play around with I just don't want over powered characters unless you have an idea and have cleared it with me through sMail or whatever.
  3. Please be nice to each other. This is all for fun remember? :3
  4. If you have ideas or questions or just are lost on what to post, sMail me! I'll be happy to help you out :).
  5. Have fun!

Other notes: I have a few designations for what I call elder immortals. My character will be an elder immortal and if you would like to inquire about what this is sMail me for details :).

Races of Immortals:

Conjurers: Conjurers are Immortals capable of controlling one element. They are usually wearing flexible clothes that are durable for conjuring. They have one eye that is the color of the element they can conjure. However, Conjurers must wear a rechargeable crystal in order to conjure. For close range situations, Conjurers have metal claws they can attach to their fingers.

Seekers: Seekers are Immortals capable of having visions of the future. Seekers are usually blind or have a sight impairment of some kind to make up for the visions. They are not suited for combat unless they are taught, however, they are able to protect themselves by carrying a weapon with them at all times.

Summoners: Summoners are Immortals that have the ability to summon the dead to do their bidding, speak to the dead, and reanimate corpses by using alchemical circles. Summoners are distinguishable by their dark eyes or skull shaped markings located somewhere on their body. Considered evil by the humans, Summoners were the hardest to adapt into human life.

Shifters: Shifters are Immortals who can shift into any animal. Shifters are distinguishable by a paw shaped marking on their body, though some shifters change the appearance of their pupil. Although Shifters can shift into any animal, they usually have a preferred animal that’s the easiest for them to shift into. Shifters also usually can only learn to shift into 3 animals as learning a new animal can take years of practice. Also, Shifters need to consume a high-protein diet in order to shift for long periods of time.

Fighters: Fighters are Immortals that are similar to angels. Fighters are very powerful and skilled in combat. They have enhanced speed, strength, and agility. When their full power potential is released, their eyes turn completely white and the elements respond to their emotions, however this can only happen for a limited time. By the time most Fighters are 18, they are said to have a set of wings of any color. Again, the wings can only be used for a limited amount of time. Fighters are distinguishable by facial tattoos.

Sample Character Sheet (Blank)

Immortals:

Name: Age: (This includes real age, and appearance age, though if they are the appearance age is the same as the real one, put it as one number) Gender: Race: (Not ethnicity, Conjurer, Shifter, Summoner, Seeker, or Fighter) Appearance: (Preferably typed, you can have a picture but at least have a description of the bodily markings that distinguish your race) Element: (You can only have one element, CONJURERS ONLY) Preferred Animal(s): (A reasonable animal, no Dragons or Pokemon-esque animals, the limit is 3. SHIFTERS ONLY, you can provide a picture of this animal as well) Weapon: (A reasonable one, not an R.P.G of some sort, this section is for SEEKERS ONLY) Biography: (Go crazy on this but I do want a good paragraph) Personality: (I want at least 2-3 sentences, not just some adjectives.) Other: (anything we should know about your character: Hobbies, pets, fighting style, etc.)

Hunters:

Name: Gender: Age: (as Hunters are humans, they only have one age) Appearance: (Again, Preferably Typed but Pictures are ok) Specialization: (limited to 2, this states which race(s) of Immortals you hunt) Weapons: (Reasonable ones, no R.P.G’s or fantasy weapons) Biography: (Go crazy on this but I want a good paragraph) Personality: (at least 2-3 sentences) Other: (anything we should know about your character: Hobbies, pets, fighting style, etc.)

Sample Character (NOT MY CHARACTER JUST AN EXAMPLE)

Name: Maria Juarez

Age: 20 in Appearance, 317 in reality

Gender: Female

Race: Shifter

Appearance: Maria stands at about 5’8, tall for her family. She appears to have an average body mass with a good amount of muscle. She has yellow-ish green eyes, which match her preferred animal’s. Her skin is light tan and she has light brown hair that reaches her shoulders. She usually wears clothes that match the culture of the place she’s currently resides, in order to merge better with humans. Her paw shaped marking is located on the nape of her neck.

Preferred Animal: Mexican Wolf

Biography: Maria was born near the Rio Grande to a family of Shifters. Her family was a mixture of prosperous farmers and hunters. Her father urged her to become a hunter at an early age by bringing her along on hunts and letting her sometimes kill with a bow and arrow. Due to this, by the time she turned 10, she was able to shift into a Mexican wolf, which became her preferred animal. From then on, Maria became one of the hunters of her family and brought back profit with every hunt. At age 16, Maria married Francisco Alvarez and moved to Santa Fe with him. The couple was originally happy together, having two children together and living the high life. Their happiness did not last long though. The hunters came to her home, forcing her away from her family and into hiding. While alone, Maria had to thrive off of her instincts and shifted into her preferred animal most of the time. Almost a century later, Maria resurfaced into human society, always coming up with a new alias every time. She concluded that starting a family again wouldn’t guarantee safety on both ends. So whenever someone was too close to her, she made up a new identity and left. Today Maria resides in Jacinto City, Texas, with a new Identity of course.

Personality: Maria usually has a happy visage and positive attitude about most things. Although she isn’t quite smart, she can usually think her way about basic situations with shifting. She is described as motherly towards people younger to her and most people usually come to her for help.

Other: Maria is an artist, but she will only draw pictures of her family in order to keep them in her memory.

HUNTER:
Name: Matthias DiPaolo
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: Mattias stands at six and half feet tall, strong and broad-shouldered from years of physical training. His face is serious with a constantly furrowed brow shading dark, brooding eyes. His red hair stands on end from his nervous habit of running his hand through it, and although he shaves every day, his face almost always shows evidence of stubble.
His hands are rough and strong, covered in calluses from hard work. He always wears a crucifix around his neck, although he usually keeps it tucked under his shirt. Almost always Matthias wears a jacket to conceal his twin holsters that he wears.
Specialization: Conjurers, Fighters
Weapons: Two identical Kahr T-9 pistols, but he's trained in a wide array of firearms
Biography: Matthias was offered to the church by his mother before his birth. As soon as he was born, he was taken into the local Catholic monastery and raised to be a hunter from the day he could walk. He attended the Catholic school housed in the monastery, and while he lived with his parents, he considered himself a monk first and foremost from a very early age.
When he was eight, Matthias began after-school training to be a hunter. He started with general training, learning basic martial arts and the use of weapons. When he was twelve, he was allowed to choose a specific branch of hunting, and he chose the most physically taxing: Conjurers and Fighters. He studied firearms with intense detail and dedication, although he never allowed his physical training to interfere with his academic career, which he considered equally instrumental to eliminating the Immortals. When he turned eighteen, he cut ties with his family completely and joined the Catholic church as a specialized monk, a dedicated hunter in every aspect of his life.
Personality: Matthias is not a social person, and tends to keep to himself as much as possible. He is fanatically religious, and considers his duties as a hunter to be divinely ordained and his talents for combat to be a blessing from God. Since he has been training since he was young, Matthias never really had a chance to develop emotionally, and simply pours his heart into his prayers and devotion instead of into relationships with other people.
Other: None as yet

SEEKER:
Name: Anya Bruschev
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Seeker
Appearance: Anya has a round, youthful face with creamy white skin. Her lips are soft and gentle with a natural upward curve to the corners, as if she’s always smiling. Her unseeing eyes are narrow and delicately framed by blonde lashes. The blue irises seem to have bled over into the pupils, which are cloudy at best, invisible at worst. Her long blonde hair has been spun into dreadlocks for ease of maintenance, so that she doesn’t have to worry about styling it. Standing at only 5’ 2”, Anya has a curvy figure that some might call pudgy, but she carries her weight in her chest and her hips, giving her a soft hourglass. She dresses almost entirely in monochrome, wearing only black, white, or grey, to avoid awkward color combinations that she can’t see.
Weapon: She prefers not to carry one, although she does keep pepper spray on her keychain.
Biography: Anya was born to Polish human parents in the Bronx, New York, the youngest of three. Her grandfather had been a wealthy violinist in Germany, but had been forced to leave the country at the beginning of the Second World War. By the time Anya was born, all of the money was gone and Bruschevs were left in poverty in the Bronx. Her parents grieved doubly when they learned their child was blind, because it meant that she would not be able to hold a job to help support the family and would probably require expensive medical care. Fortunately for them, Anya was healthy in every other respect, and her two older brothers were able to bring in enough income that the family never went to bed hungry.
In middle school, Anya was allowed to learn the violin. The school had to make an exception for her since she could not read sheet music, but she had a quick ear and was able to learn music by listening to it, and she memorized quickly. When she was fourteen she was proficient enough at the violin to bring a little extra income by playing in corners of the metro stations. She often received extra because of her disability, and prided herself in finally being able to be an active member of the family.
Personality: Anya is a soft creature, more than just physically. She has a way of seeing the best in everybody, despite her gift to see the future. She’s naturally trusting because of her eyes, but has no desire to be dependent on anyone. Whenever she can manage to do something by herself without help, she holds it as a high achievement, and playing the violin in the subway appeases her long-standing feelings of guilt for not being able to support her family in the way her brothers do. If she could, Anya would help every single person she ever met, and has to content herself with helping her family.
Other: Whenever possible, Anya avoids violence. When she is forced to confront it, she uses her Sight to dodge attacks and escape as quickly as possible. While her family is nominally Christian, none of them are particularly devout, and even though they realize there is something strange about their little girl, they continue to love and protect her as a member of the family.

EDIT: GAH sorry for the formatting issues. I fixed it.

Name: Felicity Lyall, but prefers to be called Felix. Age: 35, but looks 25 Gender: Female Race: Fighter Appearance: Felix is rather pale with chin-length, choppy black hair. She has a lean build with a curvy body and a square face set with green eyes. Each eye has a tattoo of a feathered wing stretching out from it. She has many scars from countless fights and training, and she usually wears black. Felix's large wings are covered in pitch-black feathers, which she keeps covered with long coats.
Biography: From the moment Felix was born her parents knew she was different. She was always much stronger and faster than other children, even as a toddler. Not to mention the wing tattoos extending from her eyes. At the age of three her parents signed her up for karate classes, and at the age of eight she began practice with a wooden sword. However the marriage between her parents broke down when she was ten, and her mother left. She was left with her father who developed drinking and drug problems. He became physically and mentally abusive because of his addictions and when Felix turned seventeen her wings came in, further invoking the wrath of her father. Felix ran away the same night and survived off the streets for several years before earning enough from odd-jobs to pay for a place of her own. Currently she works as a kick-boxing instructor and continues to train in martial arts and takes sword-fighting lessons when she has time to spare and can afford it. Personality: Felix can be very stubborn and hard-headed, and often comes off as being strict. But really she is very kind and has a strong protective instinct, especially towards those who can't defend themselves. If you can get past her mental guards she can and will be one of the most loyal friends you ever had. Other: Prefers hand-to-hand combat and daggers and swords over guns. She enjoys playing video games and reading in her down time, and owns a cat named Henry.

Also I'd like to add a shifter at some point, but I don't have one created yet.

This is interesting. However, I do wonder a few things. Firstly, wouldn't any Immortal be able to carry a weapon and be proficient in it? That's generally a skill anyone can learn. Additionally, you say Seekers are not combat capable automatically, but must train. Yet this idea of a weapon to defend themselves with goes against that. If you can hurt someone in self-defense, you can hurt them offensively as well, though you may not be /as/ good. Additionally, with their sight impairment, how do they accurately target a foe? Are their visions triggered at will or do they not have control? Can they see what they want, or is it random/chance?

You don't have a place for Fighters to list the weapon(s) they are most familiar with, even though it makes logical sense for all but unarmed Fighters to have one. You also say they have wings by age 18 (so presumably they are not born with them), but cannot always use them. Does this mean that their wings are powered by magic instead of physical ability, and the magic "runs out"? Or does it exhaust them or something?

For Conjurers, you mention a rechargeable crystal. Where do they get it? How do they recharge it, and what powers it? How quickly does their magic drain it?

Trickster Cherub

Name: Brazen Hale Gender: Male Age: 45 Appearance: Chin-length graying hair - there's a few white streaks, but the rest is black and gray, aged from his years of hunting and then misery. Dark brown eyes, strong jawline usually dotted with scruff that could grow into a fine beard, never darker than typical shadow. He's tall and broad in the shoulder and his eyes carry a dangerous glint. He bears a few scars, but none are on his face. Specialization: Seekers and Summoners Weapons: A rapier, a pistol, and one hidden emergency knife, usually kept in his boot. He's most talented with the pistol, and has no training with the knife (his technique is entirely desperate stabbing with that one). Biography: Brazen was the third son of his notable family. As the third son, he felt the pressure of his family to do something for the Church - but he didn't mind. He felt that he'd be making his own name by joining the Hunters rather than just coasting off the Hale name handed down to him. As soon as he'd become a man at eighteen, he joined the Hunters. His first few years were spent learning how to use his gun, most particularly in accuracy and grouping, and then he began to hunt. There was little else he loved more tin the world than hunting. As he approached his late thirties, he'd started learning how to use a rapier just for fun, and he realized a problem: his body was starting to decline in its quickness, even if only slightly, and if he didn't fall in battle like some of his comrades, he'd have to retire. The idea of being useless was horrifying. He began to take more risks, but still his skill was great enough that he continued his march in years. And then he found a different out than death to uselessness in retirement; he met a woman, admittedly somewhat younger than himself, that he cared for deeply. Because of the great respect for both the Hale name and for Brazen himself, it was a simple matter to approach her father and request their marriage. Before a full year had passed, Brazen's first child was born. He was there for the birth, and held his little, wrinkly daughter, but then he left for another hunt. When he returned a few weeks later and took his baby up again, her eyes this time open, it was to his horror that he recognized the black eyes like void staring back at him: a Summoner. He made to kill the child instantly but his wife, who had already fallen in love with her daughter, begged him not to. Brazen stayed his hand and eventually came to adore his daughter as well, and his career as a Hunter began to spiral downwards, unsure of what to do about this demonic creature that had spawned from him, of his heathen feelings for her, and his betrayal to his fellow Hunters for hiding and protecting her. The other Hunters assumed his decline in his work was due to his age and determination to be with his family, laughing and joking about how they'd never see the day Brazen would love something else more than hunting; little did they know that what he'd come to love more than hunting was something they would hunt. Personality: The kind of man that expects and commands respect; he's quiet, thoughtful in his words, and devout. He's more likely to say more with a look than a word. Other: Brazen also enjoys hunting of the more sporting sort and has owned many, many hounds and even a falcon. He does not care that he looks like some kind of LARPer or cosplayer carrying around his sword, but he is judicious in carrying and displaying it.

Name: Elsidy Hale Age: 17 Gender: Female Race: Summoner Appearance: Eyes dark as void, skin paler than her family warrants, slim and delicate in figure with a gently pointed chin and an everlasting smile. Her hair is blacker than even her father's (think European black vs Asian black) and falls to the small of her back when she isn't wearing it up in a loosely gathered, carefully coiled bun. She tends towards darker and drapier clothing; from her father's insistence, she also usually wears a veiled hat, or at least a hat with a broad brim to mitigate the darkness of her eyes. The skull mark is a large one, stretched across the majority of her torso, her stomach like the yawning mouth of the mark. Biography: Elsidy had the great benefit of birth to a notable family with a well-respected father and the daughter of a rich man. She had everything that she could have ever wanted in life, except for much companionship as her father tended to keep her away from company, hidden from society, and as isolated as possible. For a while, she thought he was ashamed of her and hated her; she learned, after becoming a woman, that she was half right. However, Brazen hid her because he loved her, and to do otherwise would result in her death. On this maturing, Elsidy felt a tug to find the other Immortals, which her father would not allow her to do without his company for fear she'd be found and hunted. However, she didn't want to bring a famed Hunter with her to find other Immortals; she attempted running away from home but Brazen hunted her and found her after a short chase. He proved to her that she could be found easily, and she had realized she had no way to track the other Immortals by herself, although Brazen could help her. Unable to refuse him, Elsidy let Brazen escort her. Personality: Demure, pleasant, and sweet. She can be a little spoiled in her expectations and likes finer things, but she tries not to put upon others too much. Other: Elsidy's ability was practiced almost entirely with animals: the many pets Brazen allowed her as a child including several rabbits, a raven, a few ferrets, a cat; the hunting dogs of Brazen's that had been older than Elsidy herself; mice or spiders found about or that her cat brought her. She has spoken to the human dead, however, the few times Brazen allowed her to visit the graveyard. Elsidy carries with her a knife on her father's insistence.

These are indeed good questions to ask. For your seeker question, yes it is true that all Immortals may become proficient; however, when I was coming up with these concepts, I didn't want to have 4 powerful races and one race with almost no defensive capabilities. As such, I made sure every respective Immortal had strengths and weaknesses. For the seekers, I simply thought it would be necessary to state that unlike the rest, they have no offensive power and would have to learn to fight. (Please don't let this come off as snobby) Perhaps, I assumed in my concept phase (This RP was originally posted 3 years ago on another forum) that it would be easier to give people their own creative license. To answer your question and not go further down my defensive excuse train (which I'm certain I did), I'm going with the idea of plasticity to explain this: When part of the brain or a sense is compromised, the other senses or part of the brain compensate. Whether that be a heightened sense of touch, smell, or hearing is completely up to you. That way you can decide how combat works with your seeker. The weapon was just an idea so that they'd have some sort of defense other than their bare fists. I also made it so the Seekers were the least noticeable so to compensate I possibly made them the weakest (hehe ^^"). The visions can come at will but cannot show what they desire most of the time.

For your fighter question, it's exhaustion that makes their wings limited in use. The reason I don't allow fighters to have weapons is due to the nature of their powers. They're quite overpowered compared to others. So powerful that when at their full potential they're almost unstoppable and even the elements respond to their fury, despair, etc. (in this case think along the lines of..for lack of better example Bigby from TellTale's The Wolf Among Us. He is only at his full potential when he needs it most or he's at his most furious to the point where he just loses control). So, I tried my best to balance it out.

Conjurers are my idea of witches essentially. So think of the crystal as a wand. The wand chooses the conjurer and can be recharged by a pure source of the element they use. (Ice: Freezing it, Fire: Literally throwing it on fire, Water: Letting it soak, etc.) The crystal is drained slowly but this process can be accelerated if the conjurer uses stronger attacks/spells.

If you have anything that you think would work better, by all means and I genuinely mean this, offer constructive criticism and ideas. I will be happy to incorporate them. I've never gotten a second opinion on my ideas when I was creating this and I would love to know how I can improve. I am very passionate about my writings and this RP is well my baby in a sense.

I love them both :)! Accepted!

Hmm. Well, while I can understand not wanting to let a Fighter use a weapon, but do you have any good IC justification for why they don't? Also, with the elements responding to emotion, do they have any control over how this manifests, or is it just wild and rather uncontrolled? I would suggest you try to balance Fighters by making them weaker somehow, but allowing weapons -- though fists and the use of pressure points or some such can be quite effective. Even makeshift weapons -- keys or coins between the fingers, a smashed bottle, a length of pipe -- should be kept in mind. Basically I'm not seeing any way to completely rule out the use of weapons by those characters in any way that makes internal sense.

In regards to Seekers, it doesn't seem Summoners have automatic offensive powers, since their summons still need to fight for them. Without a summon present, they must rely on themselves. With Shifters, they will need to be familiar with how their chosen forms work to fight effectively. But I can see where you're coming from. Also, are their visions only of the future, or of past and present as well? Is the future they see guaranteed, or can it be altered, or is it just a potential future that may not come to pass at all?

Name: Garret Greenway Age: 47, looks 16 Gender: Male Race: Summoner Appearance: Garret has a relatively lithe yet slightly muscular body shape, standing at about 5'11", his skin tone paler than the usual tan Thai skin. His eyes are a dark sapphire blue, along with black, almost shaggy hair. He wears a cheap "designer" black and grey two-layered zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, black and grey Nike tennis shoes, and a light grey backpack. A hidden neck-knife hangs around his neck, disguised as a silver and black cross. His skull marking is located just below where his neck and shoulder meet, about and inch and a half in size. Biography: Garret was raised by a Thai and white family in a suburban neighborhood. He technically lived with his mother and father, though they were usually at work, so he mostly lived by himself (And became one hell of a pasta and ramen chef if he did say so himself). He entertained himself by either feeding the crows around the neighborhood, or playing with his dog (A Lab and Border-Collie mix). He eventually ran away from home with his dog after learning about his powers at the age of 15, running away to the next city over. His dog eventually died a bit after he turned 19, though Garret nearly immediately reanimates him once he dies. Garret now joins high schools as a freshman, mostly for shelter, and once he graduates, he moves on to the next school to start the process again. Though he does have friends at school in his sophomore year now, he's always had a yearning to seek out others of his kind, other Immortals. Personality: Garret usually takes on an easygoing persona most of the time. Being mostly homeless, he always appreciates the little things in life. When alone, he likes to sing songs by Voltaire to himself. Other: Garret seems to have a bit of an affinity with animals, despite practically radiating darker energy. His dog Percy usually follows him around unless he's in school or inside some kind of store. He sometimes summons undead crows to play with in his free time, reminiscing to his past childhood.

Again, I made vague characterizations because I assumed that most people would have their creative take on my concepts. I will incorporate Makeshift weapons for Fighters but it will not be added to the character sheet as I feel it should be made as the game goes; however, I will add to the race description.

Seekers only see visions of the future, whether they be potential or set in stone.

Yes, I do. The IC justification is that they were created FOR combat. They do not need weapons because they have essentially heightened senses. They could be trained in Judo, Tae Kwon Do, etc. and be able to easily get out of situations. Additionally, a weapon could prove to be dangerous when at their full potential seeing as the elements respond to them (gun barrels could explode, blades melt, etc.).

If you have any more questions, I must ask that you sMail me as I would like to get this rolling and I need to post my own characters as well as the starter.

I plan on starting later tonight or tomorrow. After I post my own character, the starter will be featured under it.

Name: Victoria (real name long forgotten)

Age: Unknown, Appears 24

Gender: Female

Race: Shifter

Appearance: Victoria is a tall and slender woman with light tan skin. She has long black hair that reaches her hips. Her eyes are split into three different colors for each of preferred animals, which are red, yellow, and brown, but she hides that with blue color contacts. She usually wears a hoodie and flexible, baggy clothing usually consisting of a dark grey wider long-sleeved shirt and black harem pants. Her hands are always covered by fingerless gloves to cover horrendous scars. Her paw shaped marking is on her palm but her scars do their job in hiding it. Her body is tattooed on her arms and back.

Preferred Animals: Wolf, Black Eagle, Bull

Biography: Victoria existed when the first Immortals came. She witnessed the betrayal from the humans first hand: thousands of her brethren murdered within a few short months. Victoria went into hiding and hid until the early 1500s. By this time, she could shift into her three preferred animals: a wolf, a black eagle and a bull. She was easily able to hide her eyes by tying a cloth around her eyes and pretending to be blind. Tragedy struck again when the Catholic Church began the hunts; they branded her people as witches and burned them at stake for everyone to watch. Left with no other choice, Victoria left Europe and flew to a place that would soon be known as North America. She blended in with the Native American tribes. With the help of other Shifters, she formed the legend of the skinwalkers. Victoria formed a relationship with a human named Achak but the union between them wouldn’t last long. After Achak’s death, Victoria went into hiding for almost 300 years. She came out only when she needed to or knew that there wasn’t a search going on for her. During this time, she lived with few companions, each going off to another hiding place each time. (ERROR CORRUPTED DATE CODE 01364213) REBOOTING… LOADING UNCORRUPTED DATA…

When contacts came out, Victoria came out of hiding and bought color contacts to be able to blend in with society. Now, she travels across the globe, trying to find a purpose and a cause.

She is trained in fighting and is a skilled lock-pick. (These Error Codes are a result of me not wanting to reveal the character so much. They'll be revealed later)

It was a cold and flat night without a city in sight. There was no urban clutter to hide them, or alleyways to cut through. It was just them, on the run with no defense besides their powers. They thought they were fortunate but they were horribly wrong. The predators had found them and now all they could do was run.

Maria Juarez was tired of running. Throughout her 317 year lifespan, she spent most of it running away from the same people. Maria breathed heavily almost to the point of hyperventilation as they began to close on her. Suddenly, her yellow green eyes were met with the many bright shining eyes of metal machines. She let her back face the lights and kept her head down.

"By the order of His Holiness, we sentence you to death for the crimes of blasphemy and Satanic worship. Do you have any last words?" A voice asked from behind her, nearing closer and closer.

A smirk rose to her face and she tied her light brown mess of hair high atop her head. Maria growled and, within a few short moments, she was a wolf. Tackling down the figure behind her, she bit into his neck roughly. The figure fought back, stabbing into her side with a sharp blade. She whimpered but tore more until his life had left him. Extracting herself from his body, she growled and attempted to pounce on another member. A loud bang sounded and the beaten body of Maria Juarez lay on its side.

"Take the body and let's leave. We'll collect our trophies later." The shooter said.

The agents nodded before picking up the body and taking it to the back of a black van. "Recognized Shifter number 03589, Maria Juarez has been absolved and eliminated. May the Lord be with you and have a blessed evening." That night was the beginning of the revolution yet to come: the War of the Immortals.
