Seeing how many people have concerns, let's voice them here.
I love the new items... however the chance machine aspect isn't something I'm too thrilled about. Nor do I find the price much of a deal signer. 50-75csc per try would have been nicer since there's so many to choose from, not to mention your chances are getting DOUBLE of an item you may not really want and may not get you an item you want either through trading.
I get it, Subeta needs to make money... and there probably will be more animals added, since you have so many options to choose from... but just wishing the price was a little less?
It's in the same range as the riverside animals and half of the price of things such as
I have no problem with the price.
I can see that 125 CSC for a one in 80 chance (assuming everything is evenly weighted) to get the one item you want would be off-putting for some people. While other people could see it as a deal compared to an item from the monthly collection.
Personally, i dont like not knowing what I am getting. Would rather pay a little more to have a guarantee.
Yes, it is cheaper than, let's say, collection items. But that's not always true. If you wanted all 80 items, you obviously would spend more than just 80*125csc to get all 80.
Yes, you can exchange with others, but it all depends. And at a certain point of exchange efficiency, each item is worth exactly 125csc without any chance in play, defeating the purpose of the chance machine.
//once again, just my opinion.
Those were 150 but they weren't chance.
There are 80 possible animals. The likelihood of getting the one you want seems pretty unlikely.
I'd be totally find with 125 CSC a piece of it was a sure-thing. Hell, make it 175, 200, or 250. Make the babies and parents transformable, stick it in the shop with a 250 tag. You get your 125 a piece and people can choose what they want. I just... I just hate chance things. : But, this wasn't made for people like me! :D And thank goodness I don't need anything for TC fodder. I would cry.
My issue isn't the price, personally. It's the fact that it's a chance item. Users have generally always disliked them and have been rather vocal about it. We were moving away from them for a nice amount of time and yet here we are.
Definitely in agreement that for 125 CSC, it should be a sure thing. The chance of getting something you don't want should lower the price; otherwise, what's the point? Nobody wants to pay what would be "full price" for an item like this (since the posters and such have all been 125 in the past) if there's no guarantee you're getting something you even want. And this machine has a way bigger pool than the other machines (as far as I know, anyway) so the chance is even further reduced.
Seriously, if these were just put into the shop as regular items I'd have picked up one for sure, probably two or three. But since they're in the machine and I don't want a bunch of the other choices I'm not going to even try. ¯(ツ)/¯
Somewhat unpopular opinion: I don't really have an issue with the price or the fact that this is a chance machine... contrary to popular belief, an individual user doesn't actually need to own every single item on Subeta. It's sorta become a trend for users to want to own one of everything or complete collections of everything, but that's not always practical.
Some of these (i.e.: the tigers and other popular animals) will be very expensive, but they will go up for sale in user shops sooner or later and prices will fall with time. This reminds me a lot of the Feral Accessory Trunk, which was also random/chance. Even though some of the items were SUPER desirable at the time (animal tails and ears in the pre-CW era), they all ended up being reasonably affordable because the trunk itself was so popular.
In short: be patient because many of the dolls will probably drop in price within a few weeks.
Some people like chance items. I like to gamble on things, and yeah, it sucks to not get what you want, but not everything should be easy.
Hell, I still regret collections being turned into a choice item, because a lot more collection items are inexistent, compared to old DP items.
Chance machines SUCK. If these bouncy animals were in the Cash Shop, I would pick up 6 or 7. But 125CSC for a chance? Nah.
Agreeing that the price doesn't bother me, it's the chance. But hey, an opinion's an opinion. Some users like chance, and I guess we should respect that. Time to wait for those items in shops/the trade center I guess.

Mixed feeling about these. Like any other chance item, there will be super rare (expensive) items and the other will be affordable (cheap). So maybe a ratio of 1:125 CSC for another like 1: 500 CSC ?
I loathe and love chance items. The gambling is tasty and exciting, it gives me pain and pleasure ouo So yeah, irrelevent opinion but those items are cute as fuck okay.
I'm part of the group who wish the price was lower. There are sooo many of them, and you don't get to choose what you're getting, and 125CSC is a lot to spend on something like that, because 125CSC adds up fast. I don't mind chance items sometimes, like Vanity or Fringe for example, but the price is too much for me to accept this one.
I wouldn't mind the price if we could choose, and I wouldn't mind that the items are chance if they were cheaper. But, being that neither of those things is what's happening, I've reached the limit of what I'm allowing myself to spend on the machine. I'll buy the animals I want from the SS when enough are in circulation that they show up and deflate a little. Didn't they used to have chance machines that were only like 50-75CSC? I wish it'd been like that, or that they'd just been put into the CS.

The items are very nice however. I like the art, and I love animals soooo much. I want so many of them. xD
You guys stopped the randomness factor of Donation Presents, Chance Bags, the Vanity Line, Hair Coupons, etc.
Why did you release these this way after seemingly making it seem like you were understanding the problem with releasing chance items for real life currency? If I'm spending a currency primarily obtainable through real life transactions, then why am I going to want to spend it for a CHANCE to get the item I want? I never understood why you guys couldn't at least release these in the shop as well, but for double the price or something. So someone who just wants a few can buy those specifically and logically save money, while those that want all of them can buy them cheaper, but randomly, and logically save money as well, but both are hopefully willing to spend.
As of right now I want a lot of these, but I'm not interested in spending anything on something that isn't certain.

Yeah, I will admit I was surprised by the price initially but it does make sense.
I do really hate that it's a chance machine though, they are terrible.
I tried it 9 times and didn't get a single item I wanted. I really want 10 of them, but there are a few others tugging at me.
And yes, some of these will end up available in shops later, a fair few for an absurd price if past experience is any indicator, and maybe that's the goal here: for a very small percentage of people to play at spending CSC to make a killing in sP later, instead of having a larger percentage of people paying CSC upfront. IDK.
I do like 's idea of allowing for both sorts of people -- people who want a sure thing and people who have fun with chance -- since that would seem to cater to both groups and make more people happy (and more people more likely to spend $$$$).
