The color would bring the ancient, "legend" form of the pets, I got the idea from the Subetapedia, where for some pets it mentioned the old form that they had.

Ghostly could be, according to the Subetapedia, a spirit shape without the cloths. Donadak could be, again according to Subetapedia, purely of organic, fleshy material.

But for some pets like the Tigrean, the way they looked at the past is not mentioned, so I was thinking of giving it a saber-toothed cat details like the teeth, different furr and bigger in size..

I think an ancestral color would be really neat. There's a lot of room for creativity with all the different pet species we have.

I think this is an awesome idea and one I think the artists could do very creatively.

All in favor of the Dillema being either a bolt of cloth and some thread or like a sewing pattern please raise your hands!

Though that idea might sadly be too "lighthearted" if this is going for a more serious take on prehistoric looks.

That said I would really love for this to be a color.

It could be a cloth-monster scarecrow thing a caveman would use to scare off predators! That'd be cool!

Even if a real-life counterpart can't be thought of, there's always the Subetan lore which would be fun. That, and Nostalgic exists as a colour despite the Dillema and Warador both already being plushie/toy-based.

About Warador and Dilemma, they could be the "lifeless" form like a plushie on a shelve, or the moment before they come to life, the Dilemma taking a soul or something lol

The color can really open the imagination of the artists, and also can tell us the history of the pets, which is wonderful and something that I think many of us wants to know..

The color doesn't have to stick to the prehistoric design of prehistoric animals, it can be anything that will make the pets bigger, with more details, and kinda old in a sense of evolution.. The dinosaurs based pets can be tricky because they are already prehistoric, but I trust the artists to come with many ideas, for example, the previous ancestor of the evolution chain :D

The dilemma could just be a big knuckle-dragging beast with a heavy brow. :P

This isn't a color that really interests me, but I don't have anything negative to say. I'm pretty much indifferent.

I have no idea what I was actually expecting when I clicked on this because Ancient Mew is the first thing that came to mind, but I really like this idea it sounds really fun and like a color I would REALLY be excited about seeing new colors for.

Like as much as I love all of the pet colors and always being like EEEE when we get new ones, and despite having like... one of them (there's a few more I really want but I just don't have the concept to work with one yet, I can honestly say I get the most existed about new Nostalgic pets because it's like a new thing within a new thing?

Like omg new pets omg I wonder what they'll be and what they're a nod too! That makes them really fun, and I feel like this color would have that same vibe which is a great thing.

i think this is a really good idea, because for every pet, there's something that either exists in evolutionary history (for traditionally organic pets) or history (for the rest) that could be applied. for pets like dillema/warador, they could be based on early civilization toys (1, 2), harvesters could be based on medieval depictions of death or something similar.

my suggestions for the bhakoru/mortiking/velosotor pets (aka the 'already ancient') is move further up the evolutionary line and base them off early/proto-dinosaurs like spondylosoma or staurikosaurus. i feel like it would be especially fitting for the already hulking, primeval mortiking to be reduced to a scrawny, skittering lizard in its "ancient" color. for the quadrupedal bhakoru, might i suggest the batrachomotomus as inspiration

our bird pets could be based on proto-birds like archaeopteryx and please, if we get nothing else out of this, PLEASE make a terror bird out of the fester.

give me enough time and i'll come up with ideas for pretty much every species (paleo nerd over here), so i know this is a color that can be done.

An interesting idea, however it is only worth pursuing if it does not result in a clone of a sort of Tyrannian (neopets) colour.
