Namely that no new items were restocking in the main shops. While there is still two days and a half to turn the tide, I can't help but compare to previous years, where we got a bunch of releases scattered through the event.

I do appreciate old items being rereleased but...I got the ones I was interested in when they were originally released. Or when they were dirt-cheap. I really think it was a nice gesture, but I sadly had no reason to go and restock or do Carl's quests because it was stuff I already had.

Token Shop releases were A+, but I'm still waiting for the top desirable wearable being released and Keith releasing potions half an hour after. You know it's going to happen. Also, I liked the diversity of places used during this event. Crystal shop was used for its intended purposes, we got a new BHH release...really, the only thing I'm upset about is the lack of new restockables! Everything else is fine, really.

Another thing I'm also a little disappointed in is the fact we only got one batch of ToT and Pumpkin Patch items. The lack of minions in the Pumpkin Patch, once again, felt like Minion Nip was...sorta of a waste. Aside from Scurry, we had...four minions? Two of the pumpkins, the Squirrel Kin minion and the pumpkin bear. That...really isn't much, especially since we didn't get a lot of minions last year either! Also, I feel like 80% of the new pumpkin patch I get are the leaf clothes, which I find very pretty but...six colors is a little overkill. In fact, I think there are close to 50% of the new wearables released in the patch.

Due to the fact we only got one batch of stuff, I don't know. ToT seems less alluring to me right now. Sure, I'm still stockpiling duplicates for future years, but I miss the OOMPH EXCITEMENT I got from getting new items, even if it was the 29th! Last year, we got a release on the 25th, if I remember right, making ToTing exciting 'till the very end to me.

To me, it's not the WORST MOROSTIDE EVER, but there are a couple things I feel nitpicky about.

EDIT: October 30 : We had a restockable batch in the Grooming Parlor! :D

I'm also waiting for that faithful TS restock. And I agree that I wish there were more "waves" of items released towards the end like in passed years. I have slowed down/stopped ToTing because I'm bored of it now and have all the items I really wanted.

But, there is still 2 days left... does regular things

edit: I want to add that I personally LOVE what they are doing with Carl this year. Those I have been excited to do and have really tried to do them every day!

Yeah, the Carl idea is a really great idea, and I approve of things like that. Just because it doesn't benefit me doesn't mean it's a bad idea. I'm just not really getting out of my way to do them(Unlike Keelhauliday, where I did them every day) but SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE DO, so I can understand the majority DOES need these items still. I just am a incurable hoarder of pretty things.

I'm also a little disappointed in the items this year. I really love the new minions - but yeah, I wish there was more of them. Also ToT and digging at the patch, I keep getting the same items over and over again - so I just bought the minions I need from the shop search, now I can't even really be bothered to ToT or visit the patch.

Personally, I have no issues with the items released this year. I am ok with us veteran players not getting a ton of new stuff, and newer users getting a chance to obtain things we already have.

What bothers me, is the lack of new pet colors... The darkmatter neela has been the only new release. Only the nightmare antlephore and warador were revamped. I REALLY hope we see a large pet release on Friday, otherwise I will be greatly disappointed.

Have to admit, I am a little annoyed with the Pumpkin Patch this year as well. I fell like the Minion Nip is either not working or just... won't work due to the numbers of minions. Even with the nip on, I constantly get the leaf clothes, which is nice, but not what I am looking for out of the patch.

And I agree with the TOT and restockables. I don't want to be greedy and ask for millions of items... but I wonder if the plot is the reason for the fewer number of items? Also, aren't there normally more pet color releases at this time of year? Or do all the pets have bloodred/graveyard/nightmare now and there are no more to release? ^^;;;;

Dark Matter Neela was released before Morostide, if I remember right. (Checked and yup. Released on the 14th)

We got no new pet releases during Morostide last year before the 31st, which is why I didn't mention pets YET. I have a feeling they're going to keep the release for the weekend, rather than scattering them.

(We did get six revamps before the 31st last year, though. Bloodred Antlephore, Swampie, Serpenth, Fester, Hikei and Pherret)

So, the situation between this year and last year are similar : heavily dissapointing. But, I pretty much expected that. I'm not happy with it, but I'm not surprised!

We got a bunch of releases on the 31st last year, and a bunch of bloodred revamps. 2012 had the NM Mallarchy and Velosotor released on the 22nd, Bloodred Illumis and Bumbus on the 29th, and a bunch of pets on the 31st. Pet releases are no longer scattered through the month like they used to.

Ooooo okay. Yeah, I wasn't really on much last year, so I must have been thinking of 2012... though I think I would still prefer them to be more spread out... instead of being overwhelmed on one day. XD

On one hand I do think there is a notable absence of restockable items, but on the other, I'm glad there aren't any new holiday-only items now that the Holiday Shop is gone and I don't have to try and chase them down over the eight of so shops they'd be distributed across now. I like new things, but I also like to be able to actually get them.

I'm still TOTing faithfully - there still a lot of things I don't have yet. Last years items do seem rather more common that this years - I think I've only managed to find three of the new rag dolls.

I agree it's disappointing that we didn't even get a second wave of items, or that there isn't any new restockeables. But personally I think this is one of my favorite morostides since we got an special event, and I don't remember any previous morostide that had one. I prefer having something different to do every day than doing the same repetitive thing until the event ends to get more items.

I really hope we get at least some new pet colors though. I'll be really disappointed if we don't get a few of them.

PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE ANYMORE. I actually think there were a HUGE amount released. I have been scrambling to get everything. I understand that there were no new restockables but there are TONS of ToT and patch items. x.x I would go crazy with anymore xD

I'm okay with the number of new items released. Like said, I'm still trying to collect everything so I don't mind not having a second wave.

Some new pets would have been nice, but there's still time.

I really wish that had been more hydrus releases over the summer, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now. That upsets me more than anything else. :(

I was looking forward to new Alchemy combinations. Hopefully they might still happen or show up during Survival instead.

Also, I was hoping for a Morostide Shop, like the ones from other holidays. It's kinda impossible to restock the Morostide items, especially the r90-99 items.. So even if they were re-released, they are still not available in the shops. For example, so far I've seen only 3-4 in user shop!

Also all the old wearables were kept retired, so we had no chance to restock them again.. So again, a lot of items will become not available until next year, or even until they will be re-release.

This is what's bothered me. I love the new items, although I am sad there was only one wave of items, but where are the pets? What happened to releasing new pets throughout the holiday? We got 2 Nightmare pet revamps, but that's it :(

I myself am kind of torn on the issue. There were a ton of new foods and books released, so no complaint there, but I kind of wish there were more wears as I'm a wardrobe addict. I'm loving the plot though, the new titles/achievements, and the new challengers and their loot drops! I guess it's kind of one of those, sacrifice this so we can have this instead, this year. As for how much I personally like it? Welp, I'm going to hold my tongue until we get plot prizes x)

I for one am not disappointed at all. New content (especially new battle challengers!) will always trump new items for me. And I think the items we have gotten (more than 300 of them since the start of Morostide, btw) have been great.

The lack of new pet releases is the only thing that greatly disappoints me so far...well, and my shit luck with ToT and the Pumpkin Patch despite using the Nip and the Sage since day one.

Except from that I have nothing to complain about, gave up all hope for more gory items years ago so that can't hurt me.
