i have been toting at users in those 2 groups since monday. I either get food or last years stickers or sleuth rag dolls. That is on and off from 11 pm til 2-3 am with buffs in tow. Even if its 20-30 tots/day i shouldnt have gotten so many of the aforementioned items.

I wish last years items would have been retired 4-5 days before Morostide ends, 2 out 3 ToTs I'm getting old stuff.

If you roll a d50 50 times, the odds of you getting 50 different results are really small.

This is the same thing with trick-or-treating.

Actually, even within items given out by certain pet ranges, there does seem to be some weighting. It would probably explain why I seem to get some items more often than others and also why there are great user shop price differences between some items and similar other items given out in the same pet number range.

The example of what I was thinking of with item weighting would be the two rag dolls given from those with 0-4 pets: Iron and Thunder God. Neither appears in the item repertoire of any other pet range, yet I seem to get Thunder God considerably more often than Iron. In fact, it seems to be the same case with other users with Thunder God being less than 10K while Iron has a 7-digit price tag on it. Yet I highly doubt there would be that much more demand for an Iron Man rag doll than there would be for a Marvel Thor rag doll.

Your chances of getting 2 different results out of a d50 are higher than getting twice the same result.

Yes, that is what I am talking about (interestingly enough, I've been frequenting it for a different item set other than the rag dolls). I am theorizing that they are weighted, as to why I seem to be getting far more of specific items than others at any given pet count ranges and yet the ones I am getting less of are more expensive on the shop search than similar items.

Hopefully data can be put together to see if there is a notable bias.

I'm not disappointed in the Morostide item releases what-so-ever.

I normally feel bombarded by items during holidays, while this year I feel like there's a nice balance of everything. Plus there's the plot, and omg new pets - I am super excited for that. I also really appreciate that we can get some older items from Carl (+ I've got some currently restocking ones from other quest givers) so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for some of them. :)

This is my ninth Halloween/Morostide on Subeta so I think I can say that I know what usually happens during the event. (;

In past years however we always got a couple (a.k.a. more than two) revamps and/or new releases before the final day and this has always been my main interest and what kept me excited. So, totally regardless of what will happen tomorrow, in my opinion this year's Morostide was lacking in the pets department thus making it less exciting for me than past events.

I'm pretty sure some of the rag dolls and books are weighted too. I don't really mind so much, as it does make getting them a 'challenge'. But I have 23 copies of the Clone Rag Doll, for example, versus 2 copies of Candified Canines and 3 copies of the Amazing Rag Doll.

I have to admit I really hesitated before grabbing the elegant death trunk because my voodoo pet still needs a couple of potions for her TC, and I was expecting that TS mass potion sale to pop up right after such cool wearables. I'm really happy with the new wearable rag dolls, and am still ToTing in the hopes of grabbing the poison and crusader ones. Great new food for my gourmand and a cool plot to top it off..., no disappointment here! 😺

For my part, I'm okay with fewer event items in exchange for a plot.

I don't really care about the items? I mean we have a plot, so that's something different. Sure, you can be done with the step in a matter of a few minutes, but I still would prefer plot steps over waves of new items.

I'm a bit disappointed as well, especially after Alegarten having very few new items as far as I could see. I can understand why, though, after the explanation about there not being all that many artists at the moment. There's Fireside, Luminaire and the New Year to come yet with not much of a break before Survival, Vesnali and the Masquerade Ball. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that there are some new items for Vesnali and the Ball otherwise there will be no point in my adding to the coins I've already got in hand for these events.

Morostide is my favorite event, and unless the plot was EPIC, yeah, I could understand people saying "BUT WE HAVE PLOT"

It's a really nice miniplot. But, it's far from EPIC. Ranks probably a 6 or 7 out of 10. It's not a plot that I'm going to remember for years and years and years, and it sure doesn't give me a reason to be okay with less items. I prefer having more items and less plots, and I understand I'm in the minority.

Another impopular opinion. : I'm really not attached to Jaxon at all and would prefer staff to make him the second Amy. Would serve him right for all his years of misanthropic arrogance towards us.

I'm a bit glad there wasn't a ton of new tot or patch items. Last times I feel like I'm just running, running to try and get what I need/want. Usually ending up on Halloween night fighting the lag and other users to buy what I never could get.

I wouldn't have minded if halfway through the items were shuffled and redistributed. Just to shake things up a bit since we're not getting anything else.

Now the old past tot items and the leaf clothing from the patch, I hope the RB asks for them really soon and I catch it. Seriously, I have like 20 each of the clone and fallen rag dolls and I think the DW and Sherlock ones are getting up there as well. I don't even have a clue on the old candies as I don't remember the names at the moment.

We need an achievement to delete as much of these SuperWhoLock dolls as possible.

I'm for the Sherlock one! I'd gladly delete those. I'd take Jonny Lee Miller's Sherlock over the guy who does the BBC Sherlock any day. DW comes in second.
