Seeing as how some items are available for the entire year if they are something that people would desire all year long, I feel phoenix quill should be one of those. Considering cobalt eternal scroll was moved from winter only to year round, I feel phoenix quill should get the same treatment. I mean, it is extremely useful in all 12 tiers and is considered "essential" for battlers of ALL levels. I feel that alone merits it being available all year over any of the other weapons.

What I especially feel is a good reason to have it available all year is the concept of seasonal/event challengers. Every year, challengers show up for Morostide and Cursed Effigy shows up for Fireside. I feel that having the quill available year round to match that would be great. Not to mention that there are four plots in winter and spring, meaning there is potential for battle challengers during that time too. Besides, more availability means more sP to be sunk. I feel it also helps newer battlers keep interest in battling if they start outside of summer as it means having such an important item available to them as opposed to having to pay inflated prices in user shops.

I'm surprised this isn't a thing already. The PQ is a staple, it makes sense to have it available year-round.

I would suggest that the MC items are available all year round, with the current season's items "discounted" while the off season items are at regular price. A year is quite long to wait for the items to be available again in the MC, and I believe the current seasonal rotation hinders the sP sink when only a quarter of the items are available at a given time.

Certainly There are some people who wished they have the opportunity to buy the summer MC items they missed, even if they reluctantly have to spend a little more.

I added your suggestion to the first post. I do like the idea of various items still being around out of season, but priced at a premium. I feel it especially helps for items that are part of a pair but sold two seasons apart, like reborn wand and freezewand or ignitious and pandemonium (there really aren't enough ice blocks).

And about the suggestion Rocketlauncher made, I think it's a nice change to the mc, but the premium would have to really be a premium for people to still focus on each season. If seasonal items were to return, I'd love there to be tabs for each season plus non-season stuff to help separate what's at a premium and what's not. Then if you click on the mc, the tab could automatically be set for the current season. c:

That does sound like a good way to separate out-of-season items from in-season items. I can also add that to the first post. (If I were to suggest a premium, I would think about 3x its normal stocking price would work).

I love the idea of seasonal items being available off-season for a relevant premium cost, that'd make the MC an even better sP sink imo! If that happens, though, it'd be something -only- for seasonal items; I'd much rather keep the current permanent stock as it is, just adding a couple staples to it like the PQuill c:

So basically we'd have permanent, fixed-cost items available all year round (natasha, hook swords, ether, pquill here) and seasonal items also available all year round but at a premium if you're offseason. Just like you can buy fruits offseason irl, but their price is always higher. ^^ (But you don't need specific fruits to live nor have you been saving for them for years. n_n)

Of course this means the MC items would have to be organized a tad better / in sections, which I'd love to happen regardless! Seeing permanent items mixed with seasonal ones is a pet peeve of mine D:

Can we make potions a staple too? n_n Chibi potion seems to always be there, but what about Potion of Purity and Darkmatter potion? Please? Maybe?

Maybe somewhere between 25-50 percent over the normal price IMO. Otherwise, the price premium is not better than the current off-season items in the user shops (which are around double price) that others are complaining about. But then I still believe they should be able to make a profit for planning ahead.

I'm actually surprised they aren't year round, especially the dark matter potion.

That is true, but I figure it would be a nice sp sink instead of buying from other users. Plus I know that I personally would not be pressed to buy the item during its season if I knew it was in there year-round for only 25% more (unless it was super expensive and in the double digit millions which for seasonal wearables usually doesn't happen anyway).

I'd love to be able to buy any MC item whenever (well, once every 12 hours…) I need/could afford them. I think these suggestions are great!
